From the beginning, the environment felt supportive and welcoming. The professors genuinely care about what they're teaching and about their students' success. Classes are smaller, which makes it easier to ask questions and get one-on-one help when needed. There are plenty of resources available, and the staff and instructors truly want to see you succeed. Being at the Parma campus has helped me gain confidence, stay motivated, and feel more prepared for my career path.

I came on the last Friday of the semester (last day of classes). I came during lunch time and arrived alone as the other friends invited couldn't come. When I arrived on campus, there were signs leading me to Strosacker Hall which is where I needed to go. I appreciated the big parking lot which is free. I entered Durst Welcome Center to get help leading me to the entrance of Strosacker Hall and the student worker was helpful in directing me at which point I found my friend. I visited Strosacker Hall (Student Union building) which is where the dining hall is. The options for lunch were quite good. I chose rice and beef which came with green and red peppers. I also got apple juice, a cookie, and a small red velvet Bundt cake. I left full and satisfied. My friend enjoys being an undergraduate student here so if you are looking for a small liberal arts University then go and visit the campus of Baldwin Wallace and meet some staff members. They offer bachelor and masters degree programs in addition to certificate programs. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 83/250 total reviews in 2026 - 924 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 15 May 2026

One of our friends, who is Vegan, was able to have a good meal from the salad bar. They even had a Vegan dessert option for her as well. CVCC is a wonderful school. One of my children is entering the second year of study and one…read morecompleted the Digital Design Program some years ago. I cannot say enough about the excellent teachers, the administrative staff, the dedicated food service workers , and all auxiliary personnel who make the place run so smoothly. For students who take initiative, opportunities for personal and professional growth (i.e. SkillsUSA and National Technical Honor Society) abound at this institution. I am a proud CVCC parent and recommend it highly for high school students and adult students alike.

I want to start out this review by saying my education was decent…read more I would also like to say that I completed my EKG certificate, and I did really well. I took my test, and passed, and recieved my certificate. I was offered a job with Cleveland Clinic up north (I live in Bath/Fairlawn), for overnights for $13/hour. Target, at the same time, was offering $18/hour in my town. I pictured my drive to whatever city their telemetry hub was from where I live, and there was no way I was going to drive to work in the snow, work 8-12 hours, and then drive 45-60 minutes home for $13 per hour, and no union. I got a decent education, but its actually worthless now that AI is taking over everything. The nurse who taught my class was amazing, engaging, and very thourough. I am grateful I was offered a job, but no one can live on the pittance Cleveland Clinic offers when you are a fresh graduate from CVCC. We were all looking for good jobs, and were let down. If Target is paying a higher wage to keep a roof over your head and feed your family, that $5/hour= $200/per week or $800/month. (x40 hours a week), I would try working at Target before I'd pay the gas and accepting the commute to work everyday/night in the snow, CVCC is not transparent about your expected earinings, and it's a HUGE disappointment. My ekg liscence was worth exactly nothing compared to a Medical Assistant, because they already get that as a part of their certificate. I now have something to hang on my wall, but nothing else.

I came here for two things today…read more #1: I got a haircut in Today's Image Salon. I explained the cut I wanted and showed my stylist/student some pictures. She discussed it with the instructor, who gave her some tips, they we got started. She first washed and conditioned my hair (my favorite part of going to the salon). She took her time with the cut and the instructor stopped by a few times to check her work along the way. She also dried and styled my hair. Not gonna lie, I was a little nervous with a student doing a type of cut she's never done before (a choppy layered complex cut) but the finished product exceeded my expectations! Everyone there was very professional and the salon was clean and organized. The instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful to all the students. I'll definitely be going back for more services! See the attached pic for hours and services :) #2: I ordered take out from the Center Cafe Restaurant (to pick up after my haircut, because the restaurant is only open til 1). All the food is prepped and made by the students. This is not my first time eating here and let me tell you, these young adults know what they're doing! I got the Chicken Bacon Pasta which was beyond pleasing to the tastebuds. Excellent mix of flavors that compliment each other. I also got the churros which they serve with a chocolate sauce...you can never go wrong with churros! Everything was delicious and I recommend anyone in the area to stop in sometime. You will not be disappointed! They are open for lunch (dine in or carry out) from 10:30a-1p most months during the school year.

This review is for the MCCC Cafe only…read more I have never been a student at this school, but I do have friends who have gone here or are attending currently and they quite like it. The cafe is where I was most impressed today. Tucked away in the corner of the main floor student common area, the cafe is easy to miss. But when you find it, you will be so glad. The restaurant is run by the culinary students who learn front of house skills, serving skills and, of course, cooking. From what I'm told, the menu changes seasonally and is prepared by the students. My friend Amanda and I enjoyed lunch there this afternoon. I started with a cup of the butternut squash soup, and my entree was the skirt steak BLT with fries. Amanda had the fiesta chicken, which came with a dessert that we shared: a trio of cupcakes and homemade vanilla bean ice cream. Our server, Hannah, was delightful and friendly, and shared with us that she was the one who made the ice cream today. Everything was so good that I spoke with one of the lead culinary instructors and told her how impressed I was. No offense, but I was expecting second rate food prepared by beginner students. What we received was better than most of the corporate diners in town! The only disappointing thing is that they are closed during the summer months. However, if they sold their key lime cupcake frosting by the vat, it would surely keep me happy 'til October.
