I went to school here for 2 years to earn my associates and it was definitely worth the price. The price of education there was very affordable. Some of the instructors could use some improvement, but for the price they were good. Got to compete with their cross country team, which was great. If you ever get the chance, take a class with Coach Powers!

They will not refund for the recital that was wrongly charged for. They will not refund the card they mistakenly charged so the monies can come from me. They will not respond to me or let me know when money will be returned. Such a poorly managed business. I will never recommend a place that takes money from single parents that they are not owed. So I'm left a little over a month before Christmas paying for this recital that I don't have the money to pay for and they won't return the money. It's the right thing to do. I just don't get it. Do I have to beg for this money that you never should have taken? What do I have to do to get you to understand how wrong this is!!??

Our program is designed for the recreational dancer in mind, as well as lead those that wish to advance in the proper direction. We only use positive, uplifting, edited-family friendly music and class curriculums are catered to each age/performance level appropriately. Dancers can begin classes with Miss Darcy's Academy of Dance and Art starting as young as 2 and can continue growing their love for the arts on up into their adult years. We accept dancers of all abilities, ages and levels. For the dancer that wishes to pursue more advanced leveling of dance, we offer our Company level classes. These classes are based on more intensive technique and are designed for dancers that have had at least 2 years of training and have mastered all of the requirements of that specific Company level.

I attend Mass and Confession at St. Mary' periodically; here are the highlights:…read more ~ Typical Mass and Confession times (see bulletin for changes): -- Sunday Masses (Vigil: 4pm; Sun: 8am, 10am, 12pm) -- Daily Masses are different each day: Mon: 7:30pm, Tues-Wed: 8:30am, Thurs: 7:30pm, Fri-Sat: 8:30am -- Confession: Sat: 2:30-3:30pm, Mon: 7-7:25pm -- Adoration with Benediction: Thurs: 5-7pm ~ The Church: It's a beautifully architected Church. I love looking at all the Saints, Mary, and Jesus up near / beyond the Altar. It is a small church and old -- you'll often hear constant screeching of the kneelers and a crackling sound as people sit in the pews. But I love the traditional looking churches; it makes it just a more special place. If you look up just above the Altar an amazing image of Jesus is there -- I often look at that image for a brief moment as the priest lifts up the Body and Blood of Jesus to help me imagine Him there visually present. ~ Music: For the most part, the music and cantoring is delightful. I love the traditional organ music, which is typically played at the 8am, 10am, and 12pm Sunday Masses. The 4pm Vigil Mass isn't as great as they don't use the organ and have a different cantor. ~ Priests, Staff, Congregation, Parishioners: Fr. Tom (who is the current pastor) is great. I love how he starts his homilies with an anecdote related to the readings and/or Gospel -- it often engages you to listen. He also has the heart of Jesus in the Confessional, just as you would hope. The deacon, who also does homilies periodically is good, but I just don't like the animated ones or ones where he sings. Outside the priest and deacon, I've met a couple of the people who help out setup and/or during the Mass and they are great people. However, there are parishioners that talk before Mass that you can hear clearly, and that time is meant to be silent so we can prepare our hearts for Mass. (See paragraph 45: https://www.vatican.va/roman_curia/congregations/ccdds/documents/rc_con_ccdds_doc_20030317_ordinamento-messale_en.html) All in all, it's a great church, great community, and love coming here when I am able.

When I am asked why we send our children to St. Mary, the obvious initial reason is that…read morereinforcement of our Catholic values and faith formation is important to our family. That being said, I cannot say enough about the curriculum and teachers that our children get to spend time with every day. I can vouch first-hand for any teacher, preschool through grade 8, and feel blessed every day by the team of teachers my children are lucky enough to have. The STEM program is top-notch, and I am constantly amazed by what my children are learning not just from books, but experiences each and every day. They are learning not just to memorize facts and processes, but to think through challenges, collaborate with others, and problem-solve, developing skills that will be critical for life. I am so impressed by the unity of the junior high teachers working as a team, setting the tone for expectations from the start of the year and making sure that students will be better than prepared for ANY high school they choose.
