LAW LIBRARY -- This review is for the law library which is located inside the law school building…read morein downtown Cleveland. I like the Cleveland-Marshall Law Library and I come here often. If you are not a student here then access to the library after 8pm requires a student ID. I'm not a student here but I enjoy coming here to research and do some personal work. I also have a friend who attends this law school. I wish there was a way that non-students could get access to the library after 8pm and I wish the library opened until later. I only come here in the weekends and if I have to stay after 8pm during the week then I just make sure that I'm inside before 8pm. Either way, I still like the quietness of the library. Sometimes, it's good to get out of the house to do work with other students around. There are vending machines on the first floor where the cafeteria is so you can get some snacks or drinks there if you wish. The staff that I have encountered at the library have been very friendly and helpful with questions that I've had. There is a welcoming feeling here. For a quiet study spot, head to the basement or the top floor. I like the top floor because the sunlight from the windows comes through and there is just overall good lighting conducive to reading or studying. PARKING -- Parking is a pain as in any city (downtown) so street parking or the paid garage are your only options. - 23 total reviews in 2019. - 233 total Yelp reviews. - Reviewed on 13 February 2019.

The material itself is the same material I used in my Bachelor's degree, so in my time here for my master's degree I've learned nothing new. I am behind the cohort of other interns in learning because the educational quality of this school is so bad. Professors have no idea what they're doing and students correct them all the time. The lectures we watch are totally different professors than the ones for the classes, and the syllabus doesn't have the right names either. It is an absolute mess. I cannot believe I am paying 20k a year for this clown show and I wish I could go back in time and go to OSU.

Testing Center: 4 stars! I go to an out of country…read moreuniversity now for grad school so to take exams my university arranges me an appointment at a testing center. On the 12th floor of this university's Rhodes Tower is the testing center I was assigned to. The staff herein were very friendly and I have no complaints with how they carried out their invigilator duties. I was a bit surprised however to see the staff (even the personnel not of university age and probably on a work/study assignment) wearing sweats and a t-shirt - not very professional even if you are a student worker. That aside, the exam room is quiet enough - within the testing center main office there is another mostly glass enclosed room where 4 test takers can sit and be alone while they can still be monitored. The building this is in is one of the older campus buildings (there are newer ones) but was still clean - multiple crews could be seen around the two times I was in the building. Parking for this particular building is located just right underneath it - there are many other lots as well. Testing center experience: School as a whole: 2.4 stars! Whilst going for my undergrad degree I also took some classes here; my experience not as positive. I found the class sizes to be too large (definitely not what I was used to from any prior grade of school). In some classes I had near 100 classmates. I realise some people may like that, but for me it was a negative. It was a negative for a few reasons: 1) interaction with the professors decreased 2) fewer if any class discussions could occur and 3) fewer if any written assignments could be assigned let alone be graded. I also did not like that the age group of the students was so different. Again, I'm sure there are people who don't care, but having students aged 18 to 60 all mixed together really changes the classroom dynamic and introduces problems into the classroom that are not usually there. I'm all for diversity and learning from others but this particular mixing was not handled in a beneficial way. Being such a large school however they do offer a lot of summer classes so no matter what university is your main home base you probably can find a class or two here to help you get ahead in school. There's a new student center and some remodeled areas such as the chem labs. There are lots of older areas in need of updates however included the ochem labs. Some old areas are easy to avoid (pick to study in a new lounge versus an old one) but when your class is assigned an old room not much can be done there. The Inter-link walk way connecting campus buildings is a plus in Cleveland winters. The new gym isn't bad either. I can't comment on the dorms; I never stepped foot in them. The new construction Langston building looks pretty nice though from the outside.

It also gives the student a sense of belonging to a group. I appreciate the friendly people, and every single person I have met has been helpful. A lot of folks here will go out of their way to help you out. I think the school was professional from day one. My classes are normal, and the technology side of things is good. They have a ton of computers for you to use. One thing I have especially enjoyed is the library. It is not huge, but they have a choice selection of books. And Ohio LInk allows you to search for materials, to include films, from all over Ohio, and they get to you fast. I have loved this about my school, and it is better than the sketchy film school I went to in San Francisco called Academy of Art University. I was not happy about the weak academics and lack of professionalism there. The choice of films here at this community college is better than what was available to me at AAU. This Community College has a positive feeling to it, and so I am glad to be here. My classes are in the IT field, and I think they really know what they are talking about. The Veteran's Affairs Office here is very good too.

Free (shredded) money…read more I heard about this place years ago and always wanted to stop. The museum takes less than an hour so I wouldn't recommend driving out of your way to visit but if you are in town it is worth a stop. There is no parking lot. There is street parking available you just have to drive around until you find it. Upon entering you will need to show id and go through a metal detector since you are entering the federal reserve building they have security protocols in place to enter. Let's start out by saying the building is beautiful and it was awesome to see such a piece of history in that regard. There is a lady at a desk that will point you in the direction of the museum and answer any questions you might have. The museum discusses what they do at the Cleveland federal reserve, discussed the history of money, and talks about what makes money useable. There are several interactive displays like barter island, guess the counterfeit bill, and other money related games. I took my son and although the business was short I felt like he learned a lot about money in the timeframe we were there. When finished before you exit you are able to take a bag of shredded money. They also have a children's book and other educational materials to help learn more about money. Overall it was a great museum and free! A unique experience that we are lucky to live close to. They museum does have short hours so make sure you check ahead of time before visiting to make sure they are open.

Located Downtown next to the main Public Library the Federal Reserve allows visitors to the Money Museum. Entering the building is like going through security at the airport, you need to show an ID, go through a metal detector and put your items through the x-ray machine. Once inside you are directed to a volunteer who will give you a nice little talk and information about the building. After that you can go through the museum which is set up on two levels and through a number of rooms that have been retrofitted. First the good, which is the interior of the building is incredible, well worth checking out, ornate and loaded with detail as an architecture fan I really enjoyed this. The museum has some interesting information on the formation and history of the Federal Reserve System and the Cleveland Bank. It also provides some nice exhibits on US currency and basic economic information. Much of the museum seems to be more geared towards children, nicely educational but still fun for the young ones. Also as you finish with the museum you will find some interesting pamphlets with more information as well as the bags of shredded bills you can take home. The bad is that the museum is rather small with limited displays. I would have liked more information on the Cleveland Bank and how it operates. I believe that I spent about a half hour or so total in the museum, so this is not a huge destination. Overall an interesting stop if you are downtown, this would be a good little trip for the kids, especially if you want to get them learning about money and economic issues.
