Great eye doctor and nice office experience: I had 3 visits with Dr Rabbani within last 2 years. As an MD he is very patient, listens attentively and answers all concerns. He is professional yet laid back and does not give you attitude or self promoting performance. I like that because it speaks of being secure as a doctor and as a person..
He is my 3rd eye doctor (no kidding) and what made me stay with him is what I didnt feel like he was pushing his opinion. To clarify what I mean by that I should mention that I have had bad experience with doctors in the past who did not listen to my concerns entirely and were pushing me towards one brand of contact lenses or glasses regardless if I was comfortable in them or if it was the right fit. Thats a lot of money unnecessary wasted. Instead, I felt that Dr. Rabbani instead provided a range of options I could take to fit my individual lifestyle. He was patient during the entire process and I did not feel rushed. He seems to have a vast experience in the field and you definitely feel like he knows his stuff.
I did not feel like the visit was a conveyer-belt-experience but rather an individual consultation with a lot of thought given to my questions and concerns. I am surprised there are not more reviews than this but it might be because he may have a second office location.
His office manager Mimi is very efficient, polite and hands on. She makes you feel welcome and is fun to talk to. I enjoy low waiting time so if your appointment is at 10am, chances are you will be seen at 10am and not 45 min later. She also sends clients home with complementary samples which is a nice bonus. If you leave the office with a prescription, consider stopping by the pharmacy on the first floor of the same building - they are just as polite, (very) fast and well priced.
I highly recommend coming prepared to ask questions and if you have a certain lifestyle such as weight training or diving be sure to mention it to make your visit more tailored to your needs. read more
