I was in an auto accident and was injured but did not want some fly by night attorney who was going to send me to some cheesy doctor, settle my case and send me on my way. When I received a callback from Arin, I knew immediately that he was going to represent me and fight hard, and that he was going to be the perfect attorney for my case. From the beginning, he was professional and prompt. He has acknowledged or returned every call, email and text, without being annoyed and always in a pleasant manner. I had an issue with an MRI appointment, and how I was treated and shared my experience with him. I expected a generic response at best, and half-ass apology from the center. What I received was prompt attention, a heartfelt apology from my attorney and my next appointment switched to another imaging center that was absolutely amazing. I repeatedly asked whether my case was strong enough to pursue, and I was consistently reassured that it was. Based on that reassurance, I agreed to move forward. However, the outcome did not reflect the confidence that was initially communicated, and I was ultimately left in a difficult financial position. One of my biggest concerns was the lack of direct communication. Despite requesting to speak with the attorney handling my case, I never had the opportunity to do so. Instead, I was assigned a case manager who, in my experience, did not seem fully informed about the details or progress of my case. Overall, I feel that my expectations were not properly managed, and I wish there had been more transparency about the risks involved. I would encourage others to make sure they have direct access to their attorney and a clear understanding of potential outcomes before proceeding. I need to correct several points in your response because that was not my experience. At no point did I have a direct conversation with you where any of this was clearly explained. In fact, despite multiple requests to speak with the attorney handling my case, I was never given that opportunity. All communication was handled through a case manager, who, from my understanding, had very limited experience at the time and was not able to adequately answer my questions or explain the situation in detail. Before moving forward, I repeatedly asked whether this was a case worth pursuing, specifically because I could not afford to take on medical expenses without a reasonable expectation of recovery. I relied on the reassurance provided by your office. If this case was truly as limited as you are now stating, that should have been clearly and directly communicated to me by the attorney not relayed indirectly or left unclear. Instead, my case was taken on, I proceeded with treatment, and then the case was dropped shortly after, leaving me in a difficult financial position. To make matters worse, I was not even properly notified that my case had been dropped. For something this serious, that level of communication is unacceptable. That financial impact may not seem significant from your perspective, but for an everyday person, it absolutely is. This is exactly why I asked those questions upfront. This experience reflects a lack of direct communication and transparency, which is the main issue I raised in my original review.

It has now been OVER THREE MONTHS, and I am still waiting for nearly $2,000 that the firm acknowledged IN WRITING is owed to me. In mid-June, my case manager, Fernando, texted me that the check was coming. Three weeks later, after I followed up, I was told the check was coming to the office. After I pointed out the inconsistency, I received an email the following day from the Managing Partner stating the firm had not received another check from BMW. As a client, those conflicting explanations were frustrating and unacceptable. I have retained the emails and text messages documenting these communications. When I picked up my settlement check, Fernando--an employee of West Coast Trial Lawyers--personally handed me the check. At that time, I gave him $200 in cash and three bottles of alcohol. Looking back, I REGRET doing that. I was PRESSURED... I was afraid to come empty handed. I had to delay picking up my check because of this matter. Ironically, the firm is now finally returning the $200 cash. During this process, Neema Rahmani (PRESIDENT) stated he was unaware of the cash and the alcohol bottles. However, I have text messages from Fernando referencing the tequila bottle and the check. Those messages speak for themselves. Unjust and unfair behavior don't you think ? Based on my experience, I have completely LOST confidence in this firm. If you're considering hiring them, ask detailed questions about how overpayments, reimbursements, and client funds are handled before signing anything. My experience was months of delays, conflicting information, repeated follow-ups, and waiting for money the firm acknowledged in writing was owed to me. I cannot recommend this firm based on how my case was handled. RUN AWAY!! THEY WILL MANIPULATE YOU!!! HALF THESE REVIEWS ARE FAKE !!! ALMOST 4 MONTHS LATER IM STILL EMAILING THEM EVERYDAY. As a client, I have a reasonable expectation of timely communication, transparency, and diligence none of which have been provided. This matter has now spanned several years, and being repeatedly ignored has caused unnecessary stress and concern about whether my case is being properly handled. An attorney has an ethical obligation to keep clients informed and to act with reasonable promptness. In my experience, those obligations were not met. I strongly advise anyone considering this firm to get all communication expectations in writing and to keep detailed records. If communication and representation standards are not upheld, remember that filing a complaint with the State Bar is an available and appropriate course of action. I will be filing a bar complaint myself.

He always goes out of his way to make time for me and answers all of my questions personally, not through a legal aid, which is surprisingly rare at a law office. So I hadn't been in an accident in yearsss, but these things are inevitable right? Someone making an illegal left turn slammed into my car as I was making a right. It was scary, and I didn't know what to do. So I'm so glad I had saved RA's number. I called them right after I got home and they sent someone to meet me almost immediately! I did not imagine it would happen so quickly. But they sent an investigator and he helped me take down the notes and pictures I needed for a good case. Thank god because it was kind of unclear as to who's fault it was. But anyway after all was said and done I had to take part in a recorded statement and after the paperwork was taken care of, all I had to do was wait to recoup my loses. They set me up with a car inspection, estimate, medical facilities (I needed an xray and MRI but I luckily had minor injuries). The level of professionalism and know-how I witnessed blew me away. The whole process took about 6 months but SO worth it! I can imagine it taking longer if I had waited to call them so I'm so glad they were able to help me literally immediately. Such a great team and their office is great! I had direct and easy communication with my case manager. They new exactly what to say, do, file, everything! The whole nine yards. They already had a relationship with my insurance company so it was so easy to work with them. What I thought was going to be nightmare was actually pretty painless. I got my car fixed asap and after the first few weeks I didn't have to deal with anything at all. I would get a call about once every two weeks with an update. She kept me updated every step of the way. They were honest about the process and that I wasn't guaranteed anything. I spoke with the attorney when the case was potentially going into litigation but thankfully it resolved with a settlement before it even got to that! I would highly recommend Romel and the RA team to handle your PI case. Definitely give them a call after any accidents, big or small. read more

I'm glad I went with RA and Associates. Early last year I got into a car accident and decided to seek a lawyer because I was in pain and felt like my insurance was pushing me around everything also happened right in the middle of the COVID shutdowns and it was just not a good time. When I got in touch with Nancy at RA and Associates she told me how they could help so I decided to go with them and let them deal with my insurance because there was just too much going on and I was tired of the back and forth. After I signed their retainer I was sent for medical treatments and had to go to a chiropractor for a few weeks. I was put in touch with my case manager Valerie who set up my appointments and made sure I could go. She also took over negotiating with my insurance and made sure I had a rental and got my car fixed, luckily it was not deemed a total loss which I'm grateful about. But after everything I finally got my settlement check and couldn't be happier especially right now. I feel better and have a good chunk of change which I'm glad about. When it comes to the people who helped me they really took care of the situation and were with me the entire time, I don't want to hire an attorney again but if I do then I'll stick to what I know. read more

Let me start off by saying that the RA team is Great. I got into a bad car accident in June and suffered a fracture to my ankle and trauma to my knee. It was not a good time for me and that is why I'm happy that I was recommended RA and Associates from a family friend. The reason I wanted an attorney's help was due to the other driver saying that it was my fault for the accident and I was too far out in the road when they made an illegal abrupt turn. Long story short it was a pain and I was in serious pain, so I'm happy I got an attorney to help. My case manager Valerie scheduled my medical treatments and aided with figuring out how I could get a new car due to having mine being deemed a total loss. She also dealt with my and the opposing driver's insurance and made sure that I was not placed at fault. All I needed to do was show up to the doctor appointments to get my knee and ankle taken care of. To wrap this review up, RA and Associates is a great law firm because they took care of me after a traumatic accident and because they did such a great job I definitely recommend others to seek their help if they are ever in a situation like mine. read more

All I have to say is that I'm grateful to RA and Associates for taking care of me after a bad rear end collision I had nearly 10 months ago. Someone ran into me from behind when I stopped at a light off a freeway exit. The impact totaled my car and in all the situation was just out of the blow and chaotic, I didn't know what to do. We had medical issues that made us get behind in our mortgage. We went to others legal services that didn't help us, we were then referred to RA & Associates. It was the best thing that happened to us in a long time. Manuel our lawyer and Liz his paralegal were absolutely the best, they found a way to help us keep our home and kept me from loosing my mind in the process. So recently I was involved in a complicated car accident. I made the mistake of not getting a police report, so the other driver tried to blame it on me after the accident, even though it was totally her fault. A friend of mine recommended Romel and his firm, and I'm so glad I called them. My car accident claim just settled and I'm pleased with my settlement and with how RA and Associates aided me along the way, one of their case managers Valerie scheduled everything that I needed to do. Which was to seek medical treatment, get a rental, and my car fixed. She also dealt with my and the opposing driver's insurance. All I needed to do was show up to the doctor's appointments. Which was tedious but needed to be done so that I could receive a better settlement, which I'm now grateful for. A friend recommended this firm after her experience with them with her accident. I was glad to have taken her advise. From the beginning, they were thorough, organized and fast. Part of my job requires constant use of my car, and Attorney Romel and his staff understood this and did a great job at making the process smooth. The other driver turned out to be a dirtbag and tried to lie by denying liability and out of thin air adding another passenger to his vehicle. I've already posted a Google review for RA but since I'm new to yelp I figured I would post for them here to. My only regret with RA and Associates is I wish I hired them earlier.
