A soccer gear/clothing store in Florida Mall, which makes sense since you get a lot--like, really…read moreseriously a lot--of European and Latin American tourists here. The primary emphasis being in a mall is one replica jerseys and other clothing over boots, balls, and shin guards, but you can purchase things needed for actually playing the beautiful game here, too. Since I wasn't in the market for cleats, I didn't really look over their selection but on a quick glance it appeared pretty good. Their selection of international jerseys, warm-up jackets and the like was off the chain impressive however. As in, replica jerseys for most leading teams of the national, UK, MLS, Italian, and Spanish professional leagues (plus even the away and third kits for the very biggest teams like Chelsea and Real Madrid). Items that were going out of season (teams change up their kits about every year so there are jerseys and sometimes other items that are no longer of the current kit) are expectedly discounted. I want to address Casey H's review, even though it dates from waaaay back in October of 2011: I've coached soccer and served on the board of a major Florida youth soccer club in the positions of Volunteer Coordinator and Asst. Director of Competition. I'm aware of how uniforms are ordered for youth teams. In general, most clubs have learned that going to Eurosport or elsewhere online is the best bet in terms of cost and the major online retailers are keen to serve clubs and able to do so very well via mailorder. Casey's complaints, if you read the review, are predicated on several issues of confusion caused not so much by UWS dragging its heels getting in an order, but parents not ordering the damn uniforms at once and on time. This is only bound to cause confusion. Also, Casey complained the USW store moved around and thus seemed like a fly-by-night business. No. They outgrew one location and moved to Festival Bay just as the traffic there fell off and many stores were closing so they very smartly moved to the Florida Mall. I had a conversation with an associate at the store regarding this today and can attest it wasn't a matter of being "shady" but one of trying to position themselves for the most sales. If you are with a club, and ordering uniforms from anywhere, do this: shop around and see where there are the best prices--including online--and ask about when the order should be totally filled. Then, give your players/parents two weeks to fill out the order form and write a check. Tack on a fee for the orders that come in late. The company doing uniforms needs to order and probably screen-print/heat-transfer all those players' jerseys at once, not in fits and starts. Make it easier for everyone and get the order in, in full, all at once and you'll not experience the woes Casey described. I'm very very pleased with USW and will return.

However, around COVID, I decided not to renew, so it has been a few years since I've been to a game. The reps from the team have been in contact with me often over the last several years. The call and they email, asking if I want to buy another season or package of games. Apparently, all my points from lion nation have added up? They said I had credit in my account that I could use towards tickets. I used my credit to get a three game package in the vip section which includes all you can eat and drink (NA/beer/wine). We went to a Saturday game and had a great time. The seats were great- I could see the plays happening and nothing blocked my view. The food has suffered a bit of a decline. No longer do they serve elaborate charcuterie tables, but instead have a few hot items and the typical hot dog plus/minus chili cheese. That night it was pasta, Chicken and waffles and pork taco. The food was just ok. For beverages, their coolers were full all night with water, soda and sparkling water. We did not want to have beer or wine. They do sell cocktails. The lounge experience has gone downhill. It no longer seems like a vip experience because there are just too many people. They have a huge TV now and they got rid of the small merchandise shop. The lounge is unbelievably noisy. It was difficult to find a place to sit and eat. I do like that it has bathrooms, so I don't have to go far and miss the game. The D entrance is nice too- it's private and has clean bathrooms and a way to get to the regular concourse if you desire. I do like the team. I also enjoy the game. However, I don't think the vip experience is worth it. Just get the cheap tickets and eat on the concourse or go out to eat after the game. You can get a great view from many seats in the stadium. I love that you can go to the game on any budget- they have cheap tickets in the supporter section. It's affordable for most people. I will continue to support the team and I will finish my package of games. I still have more credit so I'll invite some friends. But if I buy tickets in the future, it won't be for the vip lounge experience. I'd rather get a suite or sit in the regular seats.

e joined this club hoping for a positive developmental environment for our 8-year-old, but…read moreunfortunately our experience was disappointing. Communication and player development were inconsistent throughout the season. One of the biggest concerns was the lack of constructive instruction during games and practices. Young players at this age need active coaching, guidance, encouragement, and teaching in real time -- especially when learning new positions or formations. Too often, the expectation seemed to be that children should already know where to be and what to do without sufficient direction. Our child, who had previously enjoyed soccer and played confidently in attacking roles, gradually lost confidence and interest over the course of the season. Instead of helping build players up, the environment often felt overly critical and discouraging for certain kids. We also felt there was a lack of flexibility in coaching style. Not every child learns the same way, and younger players especially benefit from positive reinforcement, patience, and hands-on instruction. I understand coaching youth sports is difficult and appreciate the time volunteers and staff put in, but families should know this club may be a better fit for already highly developed or self-directed players rather than kids still learning and growing in the sport. Hopefully the club takes feedback from parents seriously and focuses more on age-appropriate development, communication, and fostering confidence in young athletes.
