He helped us years ago with a precarious neighboring tree situation that needed quick attention. He came out the day I called, gave us a very reasonable quote and was back the next morning with crew to take care of it. Recently he's helped us clear about 1/3 acre of blackberry, trees and brush and then we had him back to compact it and level it all out so we can plant grass/clover on it. It looks SO good! He responds quickly to calls and messages, he's very friendly, his communication is awesome, his equipment is top grade and he's a pro at what he does. We love Bob and his little dog too. :)

They even instructed us on how to build a smaller retaining wall along side our shop so they could level the space so we can drive through, and they carefully relocated my greenhouse! We couldn't be more pleased with the new retaining wall! Both men were super friendly, always smiling, always responsive, and added great insight into our project. We started with the need for a retaining wall and ended with a flat backyard, free of blackberry bushes and massive amounts of debris left by the previous homeowners. 100% recommend SV Excavation & Dirtwork to anyone in need and their prices can't be beat! Thanks guys! Can't wait to call you when we are ready to do the other side of our yard!

We scheduled the job and the crew arrived promptly at the scheduled time. Everyone was very considerate and took care to not damage any areas not being worked on as part of this project. Everyone worked very hard to get the project done in one day and they left the area very tidy. A large section of my floor was unnecessarily damaged in the process of removing tape. While I…read moreunderstood I signed the damage agreement, this was above and beyond. The worker apologized immediately and accepted that it was indeed his fault and removed the remainder of the tape in my home without incident. When I reached out to the company to discuss it, the owner became hostile on our first phone call. She remained hostile and combative in every interaction after. She threatened me with a lawyer (I still don't understand this at all as I never mentioned suing anyone, I just wanted her to make it right and asked her to stop screaming at me on the phone) and she sent snide emails to me. It took months to resolve and was an awful experience. The work done was adequate, but not excellent. The only above average part of the experience was the initial person who came to do the bid. He was professional and respectful. From there on it went downhill. I would never work with this company again, nor would I recommend anyone else work with them. The owner does not seem to care about her customers. UPDATE to add: They did eventually pay for the repair to the floor, but the owner/manager seemed to be deliberately horrible throughout the entire process.
