In answer to that nothing did, we are very satisfied with the job Emerald Painting (EP) performed for us. Finding a painting company you can trust and feel confident the end product will be as good as you hope can be difficult. Our initial contact with EP was through Jonathan where he explained the process, answered all our questions, and then developed a quote. I was very comfortable with him and once we decided to go with EP, over a couple other companies, his responsiveness was outstanding. Once the painting started their focus on quality workmanship was excellent. We had a crew of basically 4 man (Guy, LJohn, Neal, & Derrick). I won't discuss their specific roles but each was professional, dedicated, and friendly. Over the three weeks it took (preparation & painting) it was easy to see their skills and desire to deliver a quality end result. As with any business nothing of quality is done without a topnotch office manager and Ellen is just that, in her own way she made our job happen. If you're looking to get your home painted I can confidently recommend Emerald Painting - Hawaii. Our job was exterior but I'm sure they're just as skilled and focused on the interior of a home as well. Thank You!

They scheduled us months earlier (because when you are good, people will wait for you), and they started on the exact day they promised. They showed up every morning at 7 and brought everything they needed, including their own scaffolding. It is not easy work, but they are machines. On the last day it was incredibly windy / gusty, but they managed to finish the project even though much of it was from scaffolding and on the windy side of the house. They removed hose reels, masked light fixtures and windows, shielded landscaping, painted our gutters and downspouts, and cleaned up at the end of the day. You will not find easier-going, nicer guys. That's probably why you will also not find anybody else that does what they do for as long as they've done it with ALL 5 Star reviews. My only complaint, Eric is waaay too easy to sneak up on (inside joke). You literally can not go wrong with these guys. Aloha, Mark

My husband and I tried to do it two years ago for our son's nursery and needless to say it was an experience we never wanted to do again. We knew we needed to hire someone to do the wallpaper for our daughters nursery this time and thank God Homer said he was available! We got quotes from other people, some were over $1000 which to me is totally absurd for one wall - I think they priced us at $1,400 or something like that, not to say the effort doesn't deserve a decent amount of payment but over a grand just seemed like a lot especially for our budget. Homer gave us a quote of $450 and knowing he had good reviews on Yelp I was comfortable saying yes. He was on time, professional, super nice, made sure I knew he was still arriving to do the job the day before, always messaged me back if I had questions, and the final result is incredible. He showed up in the morning just like he said he would and was done in the early afternoon. If I ever need someone to do wallpaper services in future renovations I am absolutely contacting Homer to do the job! I feel his price was fair, the work was exceptional, and am very glad we hired him! Thank you Homer for your services! We love our nursery wallpaper!
