I remember always passing by here so, I decided to drop it off at Sewell Lexus. I'm so glad, I did. I was treated like a queen. Let me explain. This Dealership is amazing. It is uniquely designed and very eye catching. They have a average size Front Desk Reception. The Lobby is lovely. They offer complimentary, Coffee, Sodas, Tea and Cookies. There are a few chairs to sit down and some desks to fill out your paperwork. They also have a Smart TV with a dynamic picture setting installed in the wall. The Christmas tree is up and lit and it is oversized and beautiful! Erik assisted me every step of the way explaining how insurance works, how long repairs take and what the process was like. He also ne also goty vehicle repaired in a shorter time frame. I received my vehicle in better condition than when I dropped it off. They washed my vehicle and vacuumed it and put all my stuff in my trunk nice and neat! They took my breath away! Ive never felt so good before. I was smiling so hard my cheeks were hurting.Lol. The Cashier blessed with some Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate and emphasize that repairs are a lifetime warranty! So, thankful, I took my SUV to Sewell Lexus of Fort Worth!

When I say recommended, I mean pushed on us. My son had the car for about 50 days when he was driving home on the freeway at night. The car completely lost power. As in, it just quit. On the freeway. In the fast lane. He had to fight it to get it out of the lane of traffic into the emergency lane and not wreck. We had it towed to our family mechanic (Caliber Auto Care) who had never dealt with the warranty company before. This is how it started, our mechanic put a camera into the engine and discovered a HOLE in the engine, which was absolutely dry of any oil. As in dry for so long there is no way it wasn't like that when we bought it, and this is what our mechanic said. No way it was my son's fault. This 2008 Toyota had had an ENGINE recall that was never fixed. Hertel sold us a car with an ENGINE RECALL and didn't say a word about it so that WE could address it. That year's model Toyota had a manufacturer defect that caused the rubber seals to allow all the oil to leak out and cause... A rod to break off and puncture the engine. It threw a rod. Now this warranty company immediately requested we pay for the mechanic to drop the oil pan ($600). So we did. They finally sent an adjuster, who asked us to authorize and pay for the bottom oil pan to be dropped. Our mechanic explained that we didn't need to do that for him to see the hole, with the camera. The mechanic said he would never need to drop the bottom oil pan and that it was apparently the warrant company's way of chipping away at the cost and push it off onto us. Now we called Hertel and told them what had happened. They sold us a complete LEMON, and on top of that talked us into buying an extended warranty from a company with shady tactics. We were never told by the salesman that there was a cap on repair costs, only that they would cover the whole drive train for another 50k miles. Now, Hertel has just left us hanging with what amounted to an $11k (warranty and TTL) paper weight. That could have gotten my son in a bad car wreck. Do not trust this dealership. Most certainly do not buy the extended warranty plan they are PUSHING on you. They prey on working people here.

When we got there MaryAnn was in the vehicle on her phone giving me a call to let me know someone else had walked in 5 minutes before I arrived and said that I now had to wait for them to look at the vehicle and look at numbers before I was allowed to look at numbers. Apparently 2 people can't look at number on the same vehicle at one time. We asked to speak to the manager and the used car manger came out and told us that we could look at numbers if we wanted to. We told him we had gone to the wrong building in order to find MaryAnn and the manger said the people who showed up before us got there before us. Then proceeded to cuss us out as me and my son walked back to our truck. "Get the f**k off my lot then" We left and we to talk to the General Sales Manager and he said we could look at numbers and said "Well I don't want to waste y'all's time." He told us if we both were looking at numbers the other people who got there before us would have to say no to the numbers before we could say yes. Newsflash if we both looked at numbers and they said yes. IT WOULD'VE WASTED OUR TIME SO DON'T SAY YOU DON'T WANT TO WASTE OUR TIME. I understand you can't hold a vehicle but at least it should have been the other way around. IF ANYTHING the other people should've been informed we were coming and WE SHOULD'VE HAD FIRST CALL. Absolutely ridiculous stay far away from this dealership and go to the one in your town.

That being said this was my first auto loan and I walked in there with all honesty, as far as how much I had down. They offered me a 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan and I had expressed my situation to a young lady, Alyssa and the older Middle Eastern man Tariq Elfauri. I drove off the lot in that vehicle on August 28th, and on October 20 2025 it was repossessed from my job. I was told at the dealership that they were going to give me a month to make my car payment. They claimed and never got it, the date was repossessed I made an additional payment of 480 and they still refused to reinstate my loan. Tariq also HIT MY CREDIT REPORT WITH THE REPOSSESSED and I've heard from "Deontye" that he basically blacklisted me from getting another car with anyone else. The day that I was able to go to the dealership and get my things out of the car a man introduced himself as Deontye and claimed he was helping me get my car back.. it's now December 15 and that has not been the case. I'm obviously going to get a lawyer involved. Watch out. This entire thing was a whole scam. Im sure they are all in on it. I'm very embarrassed and upset but I wanted to share so no one else falls for this crap. I heard from Deontye there's 20 REPOSSESSION cars right now and some other lady came up there crying about her car being repo'ed. If you're already in a hard spot.. don't trust them. And I'm going to say it because it was told to ME that they prey on POC. Do not fucking get a car through them!!!

According to one of my adjusters (as I was dealing with two separate claims), that sort of thing doesn't usually happen! I wasn't planning on buying a new car for a few years as I'd had such good experiences with my last two Lexus vehicles. But it all changed when that last accident totaled three cars due to someone driving under the influence. And so began my search for the perfect new (or potentially used) car. I went to so many dealerships and test drove everything I thought I might like. Volvos, Lexus, Subaru, Mazda, Mercedes, BMW and Toyota to name a few. I called dealerships. I searched online. I had so many tabs open on my phone & photos saved that it was beginning to overwhelm me. I was disappointed and lied to by more than one salesman to be sure until I visited FAMILY TOYOTA in Burleson. My salesman was Dominic Gomez and how he changed my perspective of a car salesman! He was honest & upfront with me and genuinely cared about my needs, budget and concerns. He heard me out and was patient to the point of even setting up my phone with the Toyota App. When I was ready to buy my new Toyota BZ, he didn't flinch when I said I needed to drive the Toyota Crown "just to be sure" since I love a luxury car. In the end, I went with the new 2026 BZ Limited BEV (battery electric vehicle) as I just love the smooth ride, platform and trim (not to mention the huge savings by not buying gasoline)! The store's General Manager is Dustin and he was most accommodating & helpful, too. I was so impressed with the no pressure sales and how clean & organized this dealership is as well. I really can't say enough having been through so much these last two months as I did extensive research & was really losing hope until I walked into FAMILY. I had other car salesmen from premier dealerships literally lie to my face about prices but this didn't happen here. I have converted to Toyota as I was treated with total respect and left feeling confident in my purchase. Ask for Dom and tell him his new favorite customer sent you. You won't be disappointed that's for sure.

So first off, be aware all texts and communication by your phone number are AI generated. There is no Jerry! Lol but not really. The other person who gave the review for this dealership about "lies, lies, lies," is 100% accurate! So upon arrival, hardly anyone was around to come and even greet you. If there are sales reps they are just sitting at their desk. I did see some men walking around coming in and out but we were never greeted. We noticed a couple waiting in one of the office areas. Finally, I texted that we were there and the response was, to go back inside and ask for Jerry's AI self. Even the chick that finally walked up to us, kinda had a chuckle when I said the text said to ask for Jerry. So we then ask her about the Durango and we are walked into her office. She asked us how much we were planning to put down and some of our personal information (address, etc) but we still had not heard anything about the car in question. So she takes off, takes awhile to come back and then mentioned to us sorry for taking so long but that she cannot locate that vehicle on their lot or the keys to it. We were so thrown off by this. She literally mentioned this happens a lot, not being able to locate keys to vehicles. Like huh? So then she asks if we wanted to see any other vehicles. We told her we drove all the way out (about an hour) to see that particular vehicle that Jerry's AI self texted is ready to test drive when we arrived. So we asked about another Durango that was literally parked in the front row as you pull into the dealership. She preceded to say "where?" and I even pointed telling her it's the only silver Durango out front as you walk out the front entrance doors. She said she understands but that there are a couple of them. There wasn't. Only one out front. She gave us the pricing finally on it and it wasn't in our budget. Meanwhile, she leaves to go do something and so I just wanted to find out how long the other couple had been waiting. The female mentioned a tad over an hour. I told her yeah, we were told the keys can't be located for the vehicle we were coming to see and she said they were told the same and it was a totally different car. So I ask the girl if there was a manager on site and she said yes. I asked if she could let them know we wanted to speak to them. So then she comes back with the "manager". He asks what he can help us with. I lay out all what had happened and what we were there for. So he says give him a little bit and that he's going to try and look for our vehicle. He comes back and says he tried pulling it up in the system and it wasn't found. So who the h, e, double hockey sticks is lying here!? Her, the manager, both? Anyhow I told him put yourself in our shoes. I asked him how would you like going to look at a specific vehicle you had text communication about that was an hour away with your girlfriend, wife or even by yourself? He said "or my husband". I said "ok, your husband or whomever". He said "I'm kidding". I really didn't care regardless if he was with a man. My point was over looked! I said what I said for the principle of the situation with hopes of him being relatable and making the situation not only heard but taking it in to where they make changes so it's not happening to others moving forward. Screw Clay Cooley! If I could show "zero" stars on my review, I would. Don't be suckered into giving your hard earned financials to this joke of a dealership! Also, "Am I at a club?" The playlist was unprofessional. I can get with Hip Hop music because I'm a fan of it, no doubt but to have the version of Rhiannas, Bitch better have my money playing and just like that, WOW! I just kept hearing bitch, then a guy came on that version going deeper into the obscene language and lyrics and mind you, we were also with our 11 year old son. Awful. Play than in your car or listen to it on your own time. This dealership was crazy, mad, awful. Yes. I wrote this essay intentionally. You read it (or thought of it) No regrets that we, as well as that other couple, left. Waste of time but glad we didn't give our money to them.

I had looked it up on the Chevrolet website, the only one within 200 miles was in Henrietta (Texas), I figured they could do a dealer trade and save myself an hour and a half drive. But the salesman said, contrary to what the website said, it wasn't actually on the lot, it was en route. Then he proceeded to try (desperately) to sell me something off their lot, I told him I had no interest. Then I went back a week later, and you'd have thought it was groundhogs day; same story about it being en route, still trying desperately to sell me a truck I didn't want. So I went to another dealership, they did a dealer trade and got me that very same truck in Henrietta...that it turned out had been on their lot for 3 weeks, just like the website said. Its not the first time I've been lied to by a car salesman, but I'd have to say it's the first time a car salesman lied and told me it was actually the manufacturer who was lying. Obviously, they won't get another chance to earn my business.
