Representative got my keys and information, once he tried to log me in and after speaking with the service manager for a good 5 minutes he told me he was not able to submit my vehicle in the system. They blocked me after my last experience with them like it was my fault. Here I was trying to give it another try and hoping for better service and it is convenient to my resident as well. I went here last year to buy a new truck, I knew exactly what I wanted...a 2025 Cypress Gray Trail Boss with a 5.3 liter engine. I had looked it up on the Chevrolet website, the only one within 200 miles was in Henrietta (Texas), I figured they could do a dealer trade and save myself an hour and a half drive. But the salesman said, contrary to what the website said, it wasn't actually on the lot, it was en route. Then he proceeded to try (desperately) to sell me something off their lot, I told him I had no interest. Then I went back a week later, and you'd have thought it was groundhogs day; same story about it being en route, still trying desperately to sell me a truck I didn't want. So I went to another dealership, they did a dealer trade and got me that very same truck in Henrietta...that it turned out had been on their lot for 3 weeks, just like the website said. Its not the first time I've been lied to by a car salesman, but I'd have to say it's the first time a car salesman lied and told me it was actually the manufacturer who was lying. This dealership did us very wrong on the used car side. We bought a Chevy Tahoe and within 3 weeks of having it noticed the ride was extremely rough and bumpy. We purchased a warranty on the car. We took it in to the service department. Mind you this was 3 weeks into owning it. They found that the whole suspension was needing to be replaced. Quoted us 8,000 dollars in repairs. The warranty company came out and said they would cover the water pump that was also out and everything with the suspension except the shocks. Which we're going to cost 2800. My husband asked the dealership for a copy of the inspection report that was done prior to the care going up for sale. The inspection did not show anything was wrong with the suspension. Which has to be inaccurate because we only had the car for three weeks. How could 8,000 worth of repairs happen in three weeks? It can't. The pre sale inspection was not done correctly. Someone at the dealership even told my husband if they had known this car needed that much work they would have sold it as a cash car. They ended up changing the shocks to a different type of shocks so the repairs would be cheaper and told us we would have to pay just 250 which it the deductible for the warranty. We went to get the car today and was told we he had to pay an additional 1000 dollars that we were not told about in order to bring the car home. So we had to pay 1250 dollars out of our pocket for a car that they put my family on the road with that needed 8000 dollars worth of repairs and jeopardized our safety. This dealership should have covered all the costs because they sold us a car that was unsafe. I am disgusted that I had to pay an additional 1200 dollars on a car that was sold to me needing 8000 dollars worth of repairs, and that they admitted would have been sold as a cash car if they knew so much was wrong with it. also they avoided my husband at all costs when working through this issue. We didn't get any response from them until he had to go up there in person to get them to admit to what they did wrong. Do the right thing Bruce Lowrie. Reimburse us the money you charged us for this "cash car" as you called it. I would love to see what the owner of this dealership does with this information. You have our phone number. Several months ago I noticed an engine leak of some sort. It looked like an oil leak but couldn't really tell. Thought maybe the issue was a negative result or byproduct of the dealership's last repairs; however, I couldn't be certain. I dropped off the vehicle on Monday and had it back by mid-afternoon on Tuesday. Turns out it was a malfunctioning oil filter. Since they performed all the oil changes, the issue was on them. Thankfully, they replaced the filter, cleaned up the oil residue, and sent me on my way all at no charge. Wow, thank you! This was a welcomed experience after the last issue I had with the dealership. They have partially redeemed themselves in my eyes. Maybe there is hope after all. Another service advisor had to take me, Martin Denver, and assisted. Once he realized that I was supposed to have been his appointment, he wanted to service me, but at that time the customer service experience was already ruined. Marty took over, but he wasn't good with his communication about my car. The timeframe that was given to me, was not met. They were trying to upcharge on parts to where I had to get an itemized breakdown for everything and once received, the price was significantly reduced. Due to STILL waiting for a fuel injector kit for my honda, I've been using a relatives 08 Saturn. I noticed that the mileage was near the mileage requiring the next oil change and scheduled with Bruce Lowrie. I scheduled online and took it in this morning. First thing I noticed is how cluttered the lot is! I was almost hit by a vehicle crossing when I was entering. I parked and waited about 2 minutes before someone came to the car. The service advisor acted as though he didn't have the information I entered on their website when scheduling. I was quoted a different price than what was shown on the website but it turned out that the service advisor added an extra $10 in his verbal quote. I asked about a car wash and was told, " we don't have a car washer but we have a guy who charges $30 to hand wash and to tell you the truth, he's not very good." I was told to walk to the waiting area which was located in another building a short distance away. I entered and saw a woman seated at a desk but wasn't greeted however she did smile and say hello after I greeted her. I was told that it would be about an hour for the oil change and that's how long it took. Now the thing that bothered me most was my name was called, I was given the cost, paid and provided my receipt and paperwork. I go to my car and decided to review the paperwork which shows problems with my car that NO ONE spoke with me about or even included a quote for. Based on the aforementioned things, Bruce Lowrie is a one and done for me as they have a lot to improve upon. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I took my car in on a Monday morning to get some bumper issues fixed from a fender bender I was in. It was really just an easy fix and I had no other previous problems with my car (Chevrolet Equinox 2015) before. When I went to pick my car up on Friday, THE BATTERY WAS DEAD. I have never had battery issues before. In fact, since I've had the car it's battery has never even died. They jump started my car and that was that. When I questioned why my battery was dead after being at a CAR DEALERSHIP TO BE FIXED, they had no answers. They said "maybe it's because it's been off for a few days." My car was there from Monday-Friday. I drove it there Monday fine. 4 days should not have killed my battery. I've gone on vacation longer than that before and my battery wasn't dead when I returned. It was all just stuff to get me out of there. This morning, three days later on Monday. My car battery was dead AGAIN. Either someone was messing with my radio while fixing my car or forgot to turn the lights off, I'm not sure. But it's incredibly poor service to go to pick up your car and have the battery be dead. They killed my battery and owe me a replacement, in my opinion. All they offered was "contact your car insurance." My car insurance isn't gonna do shit about what your car dealership fucked up. Now I have to go drop $200 at Walmart auto service for a new battery and installation. Im sure I'll be treated much better there anyways. TLDR: Don't come here. Took our 2013 Chevy Malibu to Bruce Lowrie for rear bumper damage (insurance claim). They did a horrible job on the paint (had debris in the paint), they left holes in the bumper, and they didn't even put the bumper valence on right. I called Dan and left him a couple of messages, after a week I was finally able to catch him on the phone (by me calling him, not him returning my calls and messages). I told him about the bad repair job and asked for them to fix it. He agreed. I also told him I would need a rental since I no longer had a spare car. He said he could get me in one of their loaners, but it was out at the moment, so he would have to call me when the loaner was back in. This was back in August. It's November and I haven't heard back from Dan or Bruce Lowrie. I haven't pursued them because i don't trust their work. So I came in on a Thursday morning around 10:45am with my two year old daughter, to get a inspection for my truck. The service advisor let me know I was due for my FREE oil change and low on oil so they were going to do that for me as well. 1:00pm they call me to the register and only the oil change was done, no inspection. THREE hours for an oil change!? People after me where getting called before me. So frustrating that you have no respect for peoples time. No updates were given, nothing. I should have read the reviews prior to taking my car here in December but I was at work and really in need of my car getting repaired and me getting a rental after an accident in which my bumper was broken.. Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet has been a complete nightmare, mainly Chris Bridges in the collision department.. I understand that everyone is backed up but he said he called me at one point but he lied to me, as I had no voice-mail or missed calls.. I took my car there in December and it took them like 30 days to "fix" it... When I got my car back, I noticed that the sensors on the parking assistant weren't working.. It clearly let's you know when you reverse the car, in which ironically they backed the car in when they parked it, thus they should have noticed the issue before I got the car back but I didn't because I didn't have to reverse it.. Sooo I ended up having to take the car back for them to look at it.. Then the issue was that the insurance had to approve the repair, which seem to have taken another three weeks and it was done after me hounding Chris and him ultimately advising me to call the insurance company.. Like what the fk, for real tho???? Remember that his credibility was ruined in the first place from him lying about calling me so I definitely didn't trust him.. After that, I took the car in, again and left it to be told that they have to order the part and I had to return because they couldn't fix it that day.. It seemed to have taken a month or two for the part to come in, understandably, so there is another wait.. Chris Bridges finally calls me, after me having extreme patience, to tell me that the part is in and to bring my car in... I had to set up an appointment with the service manager so I finally brought my car in in late April.. I waited about an hour or two to be told that they needed to keep my car to run tests on something because of an issue with the parts.. Im like what the fk again.....When will this nightmare be over?? Chris told me that he doesn't know how long they will have my car for and I was like man I'm tired of this and I don't have a ride home. This mess should have been caught in the beginning. He then told me that they provide lyft services for customers within a 10 mile radius in which my house was 16 miles away... I then said this isn't my fault, i know yall can pay for the extra 6 miles in which he called the service manager Brian and he said ok. After a week I called because I was tired of waiting for my damn car, again.. Called Chris at around 1pm and not left a voice-mail but got one of his coworkers to leave a note on his desk.. I received no callback by close to the end of the day, in which I would have understood if it were a voice-mail instead of a note. I ended up calling service manager Brian and leaving a voice-mail asking when will my car be ready? This isn't my fault as it should have been fixed in the first place.. Now I'm not a complaining ass customer and I don't want them to fk my car up even more so that I would have to come back so I was furious yet still kept it PG.. This voice-mail was left on Friday May 4th, 2023... On the following Monday, I received a call from Chris, 1st thing in the morning, informing me that my car was ready.. Like ok so my fking car has been ready but no one bothered to call me to let me know???? Chris told me to go and pick my car up from the service department.. I went to the service department and they told me to go to the cashier, who was in another building.. The cashier then told me that I need to go and talk to Chris in collision, who was in another building. I then had to go to that building, get Chris and wall back to the cashier building as he told me that they had my keys... Oh I had injured myself so to make matters worse, I was walking with a cane due to recent knee surgery.. The whole time, Chris kept blaming everyone else, not himself for this initially complete failure in completing this job that my insurance paid for in which I paid the deductible.. This situation was a complete disservice to me as a customer and it costed me money and time as I had to take time off from work and other things.. I surely hope that this review gets the attention of not only the management and owners of Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet, but as many customers and potential customers, as well, because apparently this business hasn't learned its lesson as evidenced by bad reviews prior to mines.. I don't take it lightly when I am disserviced after spending my hard earned money so i will post this across as many platforms as I can because this is truly preposterous, no customer deserves this experience and I don't wish a similar experience on anyone else. After THREE weeks having my car with no info and multiple calls made by me- I barely got a rental car from them. Why make a 10am appt for an oil change, an OIL CHANGE when your going to still be here wondering what's goin on with your car two hours later. It's 1230. A waste of time. I dropped my car off and was wired 48 hrs wait. When I arrived yo my scheduled appointment the wait extended to 3-4 days. I called them on day 4 to get an update of the diagnostic though I had already done a diagnosis somewhere else and they gave me a 2100 price tag on an a/c accusatory repair where the part is about $20. I accepted the work anyway and 3 days later they called me to ask if I was ready to get started. This after being without a car for 7 days. The poor communication is mind boggling. I'm convinced running diagnostics tests is how they make money. No reason for me to be without a car for 7 days and still leave without getting any work done. Terrible experience. I have very low mileage and my instrument cluster went out on my silverado. They charged $986 to fix it on a vehicle with 33,000 miles. When asked if anything could be done on the price because all I could come up with was $750 they kept throwing in my face that they gave me a loaner vehicle which I'd have happily not taken in exchange for some kind of discount. I was told to speak to Brian when I got there to pick it up and Brian was extremely rude and condescending. As a single mother who worked hard to buy the vehicle in the first place I was saddened to find out all they could do was take $26 off. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BRUCE LOWRIE FOR ANY SERVICE JOBS EVER!!! My family and I have gone here in the past years but after this last time we have decided NEVER to come back. I took it in for them to fix a window that wouldn't go up anymore on my 2016 Chevy Cruze back in September 2020 and the advisor (Marty) offered to do an oil change while I was there. Why offer to do a service if you're just going to f%*# things up????? 6 months later I tried to get an oil change and I realize my oil drain plug was severely messed up! That thing was so bent and molded it up I didn't think it would even come off. It literally looked like they forced it on. Then I try to tell them they need to fix it since it was their mistake and they try to claim they can get warranty to fix it??? FOR WHAT this was their mistake my warranty doesn't need to cover anything!!! I understand that they're busy because every time I take my car in it's a 3-4 day wait period but seriously I waited 3 days with out a car only for them to mess things up!that WERE NOT EVEN AND ISSUE IN THE FIRST PLACE!??? And then they tried to claim I didn't pay a deductible when I took it in a second time Back in November 2020 to get a service done on my passenger door window when I asked 3X if the price that was named was including the deductible? Too much sketchyness and not enough actual great service. I will give them once thing the ladies in reception are really nice and sweet and I would like to thank Rebecca A. For trying to work with me through out this process. She had great customer service unlike the Supervisor. However I will no longer deal with them and they low quality work. So I've only been through the sales side of ownership with this dealer but so far the experience has been great. My salesperson, Chrystal, was low pressure, knowledgeable and fun. Roger, the sales manager, was also nicely low key. Heck even Scott the finance guy was a pleasure to deal with. That never happens. Felt I got a fair price, and am so far very happy with the vehicle. I ordered a few extras for the car and Chrystal was on it as soon as I drove off the lot. Had me in for installation the very next business day. Nice! read more

Initial Purchase: 6/17/2019 2019 Chevrolet Silverado RST LTZ Initial Agreement: a BDS 4" lift with 20" Fuel wheels and 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers What I received: a fabtech 3" lift. This fabtech lift falls into the category of "a low budget lift" and a "street queen lift", that is not what I asked for. Less than a week into ownership, I noticed a loud rattle like noise from the rear that I thought might be normal. It irritated me and I could not identify it so I was told to take the truck directly to the third party who installed the lift and have them check it out. They played the blame game that this was Chevrolet's issue but they'll fix it. 1/2/20 I noticed a large presence of grease on my driver side inner hub, collar to the CV boot was gone. They repaired it with an aftermarket collar. I washed my pick up days later and got underneath it to just double check the CV boot and an odd metal like bead was on the boot. When I pulled it, it was the inner part to a clamp of some sort within the boot that was being forced through the boot from the inside out puncturing it. When I picked up the truck from this repair, the boot still had the hole in the boot and a grease bead was coming through the hole I had found. 1/10/20 The boot burst with grease again and a loud popping noise was occurring when I turned. The lift was evaluated by the 3rd party it was determined they needed to add a different sway bar. 1/20/20 Bruce Lowrie replaced the driver side axle as the axle was damaged from impacting previous sway bar 2/4/20 I noticed my truck pulling abnormally hard to the left. The issue, the passenger side upper control arm or A arm, the nut to the bolt furthest to the rear had come completely off and the entire front right wheel had the ability to shake and move around. Note, the nut and bolt are both factory. When this was identified, I was accused of "driving my truck too hard", and I was accused of "severing the bolt" by the service Manager, Bryan. Yet upon repairing, it wasn't damaged at all, but no apology and I was sent on my way until the replacement nut and washer could be shipped. 2/6/20 the nut was replaced 2/8/20 I pull over to see the A arm sleeve missing, the washer missing, and the nut missing that was repaired less than 24 hours ago by Bruce Lowrie but since BL put a wrench to it, the 3rd party wouldn't take any fault. I informed Bryan of the "safety concern this poses and Bruce Lowrie is ok with that?" He just looked at me and said "what do you want me to do?" In response, I told him "I wanted the lift removed and a different one put on knowing I would have to pay out of pocket for the difference. I would like compensation for the fabtech lift that doesn't work for my truck." "Well we can do that but your lift doesn't have the stock parts anymore and I'm not sure how we can get those for you. I can get a BDS lift installed out of our shop here for our cost @ $2800." This didn't include the stock A arms because Bryan knew not where to get those as he mentioned. He said "technically we didn't install it so it's not up to us to resolve," and sent me on my way refusing ANY compensation for my neglect of safety, heavily worn tires, or insufficient lift. Their complete disregard for my and other peoples safety on the road was neglected, they refuse ANY compensation for the tires bald on one side wall due to the bolts coming loose and the wallered out frame damage that is permanent to my 9mo old pick up from the lift installment issues through the dealership, 3rd party or not. I offered to provide documentation of an outsiders review of the damage and I have the tires in my possession in case they ever want to make things 100% right, but they are refusing as it "is not their problem." Take my story as you wish, and best of luck. I have left out plenty of details to be vague with my experience. Blake Shapiro and Bryan Inman are involved throughout this experience and both refuse to discuss matters further to come to a reasonable agreement. read more

Other dealers are transparent and make customers aware of market adjustments clearly on their websites. Spent 2 hours today selecting a vehicle, negotiating the sale price to be told at the finance table that there is a $3,500 market adjustment on all vehicles. During my interactions with the internet sales person, sales person and sales manager, not once did anyone mention any sort of market adjustment. This evening looking at other dealers websites, and the market adjustments are clearly represented on their website. It appears that due to low inventory on vehicles due to a computer ship shortage, dealers have imposed a market adjustment to make up for lost inventory. The deceptive approach to the market adjustment at this dealership is unacceptable. read more

This place is horrible I've been going to Chevrolet to get my car worked on anytime I need something I bought it in Virginia 2018 Chevy equinox. I get everything done on time and since I've came to this one there is always something I need done when I bring in for oil change and I've gotten it. This time I got a flat tire and they told me I should buy 2 and put new in front and old ones in back but they had to order bc I have weather tires bc I was stationed in New York last. Starting two days after that I had random lights coming on and off stabilitrac, TC, anitlock breaking, etc. i take it back and say I think it's something you did with tires and explain what's happening and they say well none of that has to do with tires so wouldn't be from us changing your tire. I'm like all that has to do with tires or parts behind it. They charge me 175 to diagnose it and claim my charge inlet cooling tube is leaking and will cost me around $630.00 for them to fix. Every time I come to them and they will apply the 175 they charged me to fixing it if I have them do it. I took to a different place and they stated those do have to do with tire but what they said I needed didn't have to do with that especially since they came in and off and haven't been back on since I took to bruce. I honestly think they fixed whatever small thing was wrong from them changing my tires but still wanted me to pay the 175 so they said it was the inlet tube that caused it to come on and off. Will not be coming back to this place and I don't recommend you save your money and go somewhere else that knows what they are doing and if they messed up don't charge you and tell you things that don't make sense to cover for themselves. Will be using this new place who didn't charge me to look at my car and tell me the truth. read more

If you are thinking about buying from Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet I recommend you think twice. I bought a Chevrolet Trailblazer in 2022 and the salesman and everyone were so nice and worked with me, but once the car was driven off the lot that changes. About 4 months after buying I started hearing a noise I reached out to the service dept and was told it would but 6 weeks before I could get it looked at. That very much frustrated me. I reached out again at about 10,000 miles and even went directly to service manager. He said I could bring it and they would check to see where the noise was coming from but I could be without my vehicle for 3 to 4 weeks depending on the issue. They have no loaner cars and would not cover a rental so I could get to work. A week ago I made an appt for 2/13/23 Talked to them today after dropping it off and they said it's something in the transmission and they can't do anything for 4 weeks cause they are behind. I would have to call them in 3 weeks and see how far behind they are and would still have to leave it there for at minimum a week. So now I will be going to pick it up today and not have it repaired because they are 4 weeks behind. They have been behind since I bought it. What does that tell you. ​ read more

This is to respectfully inform all prospective car buyers and car owners about the deceptive advertising and business practices of Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet in Fort Worth, Texas/ On July 10, 2020, my mom and I went to Bruce Lowrie Chevrolet because of a financing letter that helps people with current and discharged bankruptcies. The bankruptcy specialist, Daniel Torres Sr., sold me a 2018 Jeep Compass Limited 4x4. Mr. Torres never told us about the defective front brakes and rotors on the vehicle. Furthermore, he (Mr. Torres) didn't tell us until after the vehicle deal was completed that the Air Conditioning was working properly. On July 16, 2020, I informed Mr. Torres about these deficiencies, and he told me that it was pre-owned vehicle. Immediately, Mr. Torres told me that I can take the vehicle to a Jeep dealership to get these deficiencies taken care of because the car is under warranty. I took my car to Moritz Jeep dealership in Fort Worth to get my car checked out. The service advisor, Mr. Pool, told that the front brakes and rotors warranty had expired at 12,000 miles. Then, I contacted Mr. Torres about the vehicle deficiencies. Mr. Torres told me to bring the vehicle to get fie. On July 17, 2020, I brought the vehicle to be fixed and he would take the vehicle and refund my money. Later, he (Mr. Torres) recanted on his promise to refund my money. He stated that he the deal went through/. Overall, Mr. Torres and the Bruce Lowrie was mean and u profession. He refused to admit that he didn't show me vehicle inspection report during the car buying process; he was angry and belligerent about me inquiring why he refused to take the car back and to give me $5,000 down payment refunded to me. Consequently, I can't return the vehicle because it listed on my vehicle as a voluntary reprocess ion on my credit report/. NOTE: PLEASE DONT COME TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!!
