Made my first appointment yesterday by phone, and their front desk lady was extremely polite and very helpful; she took my insurance information and was able to schedule an appointment on the same day! When I got there, I was promptly assisted and didn't have to wait (like all practices I've been), got X-rays done really quickly and no pain at all. Then Dr. Morris came by, analyzed all X-rays double checked and explained what has to be done. I'm literally a chicken when it comes to dentistry, but here, I felt comfortable and Dr. Morris made sure I was 100% confident about all procedures. My search is over!

But seriously, the environment here is just that comfortable. Something that really stood out to me was the organization of the office staff. They've got it together and go out of the way to make the process easy for you. As an example, I had some issues with one of my dental insurance carriers in filing reimbursement paperwork. Dr. Morris's staff pursued them diligently - long after I had simply forgotten about it - and made sure our claims were paid. Ava Khodakhast is the worst dentist I've seen in my entire life. I should have trusted my gut and…read moreran as fast as I could. She was very aggressive pushing tools in my mouth the first time I saw her. That was the red flag. She restored a chipped front upper tooth with bonding and the bonding immediately failed. Then she said the problem was that my lower teeth were hitting the upper tooth and wanted to remove a minimal amount off the lower teeth. She removed significantly more than she promised and permanently ruined my bite. The bonding has failed again, and I'll have to have my new dentist restore it. I've never had permanent problems with my teeth until she worked on them. This is shameful. I wrote to the office and never heard a response.

His front desk staff is very kind and friendly and his office is very neat and always has magazines that look brand new, not like some kids have been slobbering all over them. Dr. Masterson was very gentle when cleaning and filling my teeth. No poking or prodding, and when I had told him that the tartar scrape was a little painfull he did everything he could to keep me comfortable. I send all my friends his way as he is a great dentist. Within just the past year they double booked me TWICE and forced my rescheduling, a filling was done incompletely and required a follow up visit. Then I showed up 9 minutes late (I even called in advance to say I was delayed), when I got there they said they wanted to go home, so despite knowing my arrival and being the last patient of the day, they told me best they can do is reschedule in the next two months. They used to be open Fridays as well, but closed due to "lack of business", happens to be my only reasonably available day. I went back as a courtesy to say they can simply remove me from their list. I was mocked and told, upon stating I'd like to switch providers and cited my concerns of service, "Good luck, other dentists will just do the same to you." Said verbatim by front desk Susan. And I say dude because that's the vibe he gives. Passed the vibe check with flying colours, eased my fears, and actually explained what was going on (and what Basile did). He even went so far as to remove one of his techs from our consultation room for asking insensitive questions about my mask (I have ulcerative colitis and wore masks in medical settings before Covid, but nice try, girlie). I never saw her again and the rest of his techs are equally incredible. The second check-up we were all singing the timeless Wheatus classic, "Teenage Dirtbag" while he poked around my mouth and explained what HIS adult wisdom tooth extraction was like. A real human exchange. I strongly recommend Dr. Nguyen. It's up to me whether or not I want bone grafts to fill in the sockets the previous doctor created, but if I do it'll only be him who touches me.
