They have a Starbucks on the premises and my husband got a coffee to go. I used the rest room. The bathroom is usually very clean, but think there was a bad smell in there yesterday. The cleaning crew was in there, so maybe they would have taken care of the smell too if I have been there a while Later. They have lots of the usual stop n go stuff for sale candy, fountain drinks and coffee. But what caught my eye were these cute animal booty/non skid slippers. They were so cute -wolf ones, bear ones and others including college team inspired ones. Wish I had had my camera with me when I saw them.

The women's restroom was out of service so my wife and daughters had to use the most disgusting men's restroom ever. It wreaked of urine and filth. My wife stepped in the women's restroom to use the mirror and the lady came charging down the aisle as if we had broken a law or something. My wife said she was just looking in the mirror and the lady said well wait and use the men's mirror. I go to buy my drink and she never once acknowledged me or even thanked me when handing back my change. I asked her if she was the owner and she said "no why?" To which is said, "because you are rude!" And then we commenced to having an argument. Without any further detail.. just know that if you go to this place you will be treated like dirt.

But each time after that it was just sad. The grands lived up in NE Texas so of course we were required to stop for the kids if they were in the truck. The last sandwich I had was a soggy mess on what looked like bread but tasted like cotton balls. Those nuggets reminded me a lot like Crunch n Munch but with a horrible aftertaste even their weak "coffee" couldn't wash away. It's been years since we've been back so I don't know if it's still true but it seemed to me those times that the greater portion of their branded merchandise and other "Texas" souvenirs were made in China.
