I ordered a small RR Deep Dish Pizza with Italian Sausage, green peppers and onions. The pizza sauce is George's sauce. It was delicious! I even had two slices for the next day for lunch. George had just made bread pudding, however, I opted for his other dessert suggestion. I went with the strawberry crumb cake which is homemade. It was good too. They have a special Sunday family dinner menu you can order from that is on a first-come basis until it is gone! They also have a Polish Night menu on Tuesdays. The folks were rolling in on Sunday as I dined at the bar to get ready to watch the Detroit Lions play. They have a bank of televisions around the bar with surround sound. The seating options are varied for whatever your preference may be including an outdoor patio. The saloon has a pool table and they are also a Michigan Lottery venue. They do have DoorDash as a delivery option.

I got the mortadella sandwich and it was very good. I think it had some sweet syrup glaze and I didn't really enjoy that part. My friend got the wine flight and she really enjoyed it. The wine was a special import from Spain and the owner was actually visiting from Spain. It was very fun to talk to her. The vibes are immaculate. It's a little hard to find when it's on the maps but just look around for it. It was so fun and I can't wait for it to be warm again to sit on the patio!

The food was delicious; we ordered burrata and mushroom toast and I would have both again today. They definitely find food flavor profiles that work well together. The pear Negroni was a little sweet for me, but tasted just like a pear.

They have DJ equipment set up and a large stage floor area for karaoke or a band. The bar is set up like a horseshoe with plenty of seating. The drinks are reasonably priced and we had good service. We didn't eat but the menu looked like typical bar food. I saw a board with daily food and drink specials. They had the Lions preseason game on but it wasn't blaring in the background like many bars tend to do. Overall good value and low key bar where you can enjoy hanging out with your friends and it isn't too loud.

Once my order arrived it was missing something that she struggled to capture ( coney sauce on my Tavern fries) Otherwise this place SLAPS (as the kids say). I started with the Toucan Sam drink which was the only rum drink on their menu of specialty cocktails. It's a really good drink that is slightly bitter due to the campari and toasted almond bitters. For food, I was craving a burger but I visited on the wrong day. I chose the Thai style wings and a carne asada taco. Wings - the wings were decent but I got tired of eating them after the first 2. The thai peppers that it came with were not very spicy at all. The meat was also a little challenging to get off the bones for some reason. Taco - I enjoyed this better than the wings, even though this was smaller. Service was decent but not perfect. I was already ready to leave and then they asked if I wanted another drink. They were about 5 mins late since the bar area wasn't actively manned during a majority of my visit.
