The JVA moving crew were meticulous in packing our belongings- it was dumping rain and they wrapped just about everything we owned to ensure it did not get wet; we didn't even have to ask, they just did their thing! And FAST. The load and unload time was extremely impressive, and the men who worked on our move- Tom, Cale, and Tyler, were so respectful and considerate- totally went above and beyond. Not a single item was broken or damaged; which is to be expected with pretty much every move. My wife was also extremely impressed with their work ethic and manners. Two men did the work. They arrived on time. They presented well, were professional, courteous and worked hard throughout the entire process. They carefully packed all my belongings taking time not to damage anything. I was sure that it would take longer than the 3 hour minimum, but Sam and Dastan were miraculously able to wrap up the job in 3 hours on the dot. They were up front and transparent about any extra charges (we were charged $150 for the 32 steps up to our flat). And these guys worked HARD with hardly any downtime or breaks. I was floored. You may be able to find a lower hourly rate with other moving companies in the city but I was beyond pleased with their hard work and was happy to pay the rate with how quickly they got the job done. Nothing was broken, including my vintage floor lamp that I was worried about. I would highly recommend this company, they aren't kidding calling themselves the G.O.A.T.

House was packed on June 27th by the nice crew of people who did good job. Today it is July 15th, the call to office revealed that: "The move can take up to 21 BUSINESS DAYS, and they NEVER PROMISE anything faster." they had our house items for almost 3 weeks now and it is still in WA state. They say that for each day of delay you get 30 dollars discount per day. So, after paying over 16000 they could delay for a month, and I would not get even a 1000. I would never use this company again or would not recommend them.

I used this company a few years ago for a move and it went OK. The rate was good and they did a…read moredecent job although I asked their movers to mask because we are immune compromised and one of them removed her mask right in our faces while we were paying which I did not appreciate and was dangerous. This time the crew was 45 minutes late because they went to the wrong address during the first part of the move despite me being very clear, repeatedly, where to go. That was very inconvenient and my mom had to wait around in her car outside a storage unit while I kept having to message to ask what was going on and barely got a response. I received the final invoice and paid it immediately with a nice tip anyway. A couple days later I started getting a bunch of emails from the company saying that I hadn't paid. I sent them a screenshot of the $0 invoice balance and the transaction on my credit card. It had the name of the owner and a transaction ID and their ZIP Code. They continued to message me every few days saying we didn't get your payment, you must've sent it to the wrong place, they even sent me another invoice like they expected me to pay again. I kept telling them to check in on their side and that I didn't know what else to do. I provided ample screenshots showing that I paid and they kept blaming me and trying to bill me again. I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company which was painful because I'm disabled and making phone calls hurts me. I didn't know what else to do because this is not a small bill and the company wouldn't stop bothering me. Finally they made a call themselves and immediately sorted it out which they could've done in the first place and then they apologized to me and said yes you did pay right away it was an error on our end. This was a complete waste of time and completely unprofessional. It's not appropriate to harass a customer who paid, who has clear evidence of paying, instead of just doing your due diligence and trying to resolve the issue without making me feel doubted and blamed for days. I can't recommend this company and I'm very angry about the way I was treated. Harassed for something that wasn't my fault at all and that they could've resolved with one quick phone call on their end instead of bothering me when I had just moved and they know I'm disabled. Avoid this company.

All provided us with excellent service and fruitful conversation. We were amazed with Maury who is from Guinea. We learned that he speaks his native language (French) and English. He said where he's from English & French are spoken. There are numerous people who can barely speak English. Bravo Maury and it's great to have you in the USA. Pleasant, well spoken, a gentleman and extremely strong. With his height he could be an NBA player. Then there is Hymie. Always a smile on his face despite doing heavy lifting and working diligently. He was the mechanic on hand and was there with his handy tools dismantling furniture, only to put them back together at our new apartment. While wife had taken the car to put gas in it, I told Hymie that the woman in 5he house would always change furniture arrangements around. When we arrived at the new place my wife began saying where she wanted everything to be placed. Hymie looked at me and smiled. He had been forewarned. The leader of this great team was none other than Anthony Wright, and his demeanor and joy was infectious. Always making certain his crew was working to our satisfaction. Then we started talking food, and there is truly not a more fun topic. We learned what he liked to eat as we told him we loved to cook. We've set a dinner date whenever our new nest is completed. Thank you Anthony, Maury & Hymie for treating our belongings with kit gloves and seeing us through the exhausting task of moving. When I called to other movers around i got so many fluctuations in price and time. I called on a Sunday and spoke to John. Very professional and answered all of my questions easily. They are fully insured and bonded. I was nervous asking because I didn't want to be offensive. He said that I should ask such questions. They accommodated me on a crazy short notice. I was looking to move in 3 days. Gave me a decent time window and even called me when they were 45 minutes away. Which was really nice. So my sister didn't have to sit in my apartment with a ton of boxes waiting. Will and Ali both showed up. They nonstop had a smile on their face. Everything I asked was accommodated. Just discovered my TV got broke in the move the screen is shattered and won't work now. Another issue was my dresser was taped and they left the tape on it cuz they knew it would ruin the finish when pulled off. Now I have a huge blemish of damage to the top of my dresser from the tape. I'm super disappointed. It was not cheap either. My bad too I'm sure as they never spoke on their website about being licensed, bonded and insured. I was really trying to help out a small family business rather than a large company.
