Then they finally show up unannounced on Thursday and finish the job Price is good for sure but reliability is trash. Today his crew - led by the very capable Ricardo, and his crew member Alejandro came out and trimmed my huge citrus trees into shape, to get them off my roof, and my neighbor's fencing. They also took care of a stray, dead branch from my Joshua tree, and a fallen arm from my massive totem cactus, as well. Not only that but they accommodated my busy schedule today by coming out at a more convenient time than originally planned. This was most helpful as I have a sick dog to deal with today. Turf Monsters knocked it out of the park!…read more We hired Turf Monsters for a unique project at Mountain Ridge High School for our Track and Field program, and they made our vision come to life. This wasn't a standard install -- we had specific ideas, and Turf Monsters listened and delivered exactly what we had in mind. Communication was excellent throughout. They showed up exactly when they said they would and got everything done quickly without cutting corners. The finished result for our shot put deck/area is something our coaches, athletes, and Mountain Ridge community can be proud of. They were also very competitive on pricing. As a real estate broker, I have seen the aftermath of many not-so-great companies. They have now moved to the top of my referral list. I had a very disappointing experience with this company and would strongly caution others before…read morehiring them. I paid to have brand new turf installed because I was told my existing turf needed to be replaced due to visible seams. After the job was completed, the new turf still has seams, which defeats the entire reason I agreed to replace it in the first place. I also paid for a completely new irrigation system, but it appears that it was never actually replaced. Many of the sprinklers still have the same old sprinkler heads and tops, yet the company insists the system was replaced. The visible evidence suggests otherwise. Additionally, I paid for repairs to my fire pit, and within three days the structure was already cracked again. The professionalism on-site was also lacking. During the job, the crew took a break for about an hour sitting on our personal lawn chairs and didn't even bother to put them back, and they left trash and debris behind when they finished. What's most frustrating is that I've reached out multiple times to have these issues addressed, and each time I've been pushed aside, given excuses, or told things that simply aren't true. At this point I feel like I paid a significant amount of money for work that was not completed as promised and was poorly executed. Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience, and unfortunately I cannot recommend this company to others. Update. The owner has informed us that we will be receiving a refund that should have arrived today. If course it did not arrive, not is he answering any attempts to reconcile. This shows how crooked he is.
