Relocating to the area and needed to check out local mechanic. So to start simple I brought a pair…read moreof new shocks to be installed on my truck. Paul said he could do it the next day if I could leave my truck in the morning. Perfect. Was done in the afternoon. Perfect again. So I pick up the truck and it sits through the ice storm for a few days. Notice my power steering isn't. Very hard to turn. Find power steering fluid pouring out the front of the steering gearbox. Called Paul at closing time. He said he was booked for the day, but if I could get it there he'd check it out and likely order parts. I topped off the fluid and drove it to Paul's the next morning. We talked a bit then I left my truck. My surprise when he calls the next day at lunchtime and it's done. He was able to take it apart the evening before and the parts showed up the next morning and he banged it out. Expedient and very fair price. THANKS Paul.

I decided to have the front and rear sway bar bushings replaced with the new polymer type as the old rubber ones were cracking and failing. OMG it drove like a new truck again. These guys are awesome, and they never give ya any add on that you don't need. If there is a issue they spot, they will always call ya and get authorization from you before doing the work. Caliber Collision deemed it a total loss and refused to work on it. I called around to several auto body shops in the Tacoma area, but all of them were either unwilling to take on that level of damage or also classified it as a total loss. My insurance wouldn't cover the repairs, so I was stuck paying out of pocket. I was nearly ready to scrap the car and buy a used one, until I found Matsenko Auto. I spoke with Mike, who was very friendly and provided updates throughout the entire process. After explaining the situation, they took my car in without hesitation. They assessed the damage quickly and assured me it was no problem for them to fix, which gave me the confidence I needed that the car was in good hands. To top it off, they quoted me a price significantly lower than the other shops I contacted. The repairs took about a month due to backordered parts, but now my car looks good as new.
