Terrible Value- Paid for service with cash (they only accepted cash). Plus they had no change and only told me when I was there to pay. I had to run across a very dangerous intersection with no crosswalk to get change for cash! Truly a terrible business. Avoid RandD at all costs! read more

If you're looking for a good tow service, look no further. I was stuck on the side of i24 with an overheated car, and 30 minutes after making the call I was comfortably sitting in the truck with my car safely on the back. Wes was amazing; very understanding of my stressful situation and professional with making sure both my car and I were safe. My family has had some crummy experiences with wreckers so I was pretty worried, but I'm happy to say this wasn't one. Definitely keep them in mind for if you unfortunately have a broken down vehicle or get into an accident! read more

R & D Wrecker Service - Towing Near Me

I called R&D after I managed to get my truck stuck in a predicament in my front yard; after I tried to get unstuck myself for an hour. I ended up in a very precarious position on the side of a recently dug out slope just after it rained. Not my finest hour for sure. A friend recommended them after being a neighbor of the owner in the past. I'm always a bit wary of auto service business I don't know as I have been taken advantage of in the past. I wanted to get someone I could trust to treat me right and do a good job. Impressed right from the start. They said they would show up in 30 min and arrived in 25. The son of the owner was driving the truck. He could have given me a hard time or made fun of what I did but instead he was very friendly, very professional, and demonstrated quickly how good he is at what he does. Taking his time to get things right and used exceptional care, he made short work of getting my truck to a safe location. He caused no additional damage although I was certain it would be difficult not to. The price to save my truck was more than fair. Highly recommended and I will call them again if I need wrecker service for sure! read more

Did great and got here right away and knew what he was doing. They were good. If you need to be towed use them.

got in a bind yesterday at Rivermont Park Boat Ramp...(IF you know, you know. This place is a mess, I cannot imagine how many people get stranded there every day. The ramp is short, IF you go too deep, your trailer will drop off the end and you will be very lucky not to tear something up). Anyway, randomly called R&D and they sent a guy right away. He had a rollback and we needed a boom. No matter, the driver tried for over 30 minutes to help and finally recommended to call someone with a boom. He worked his butt off and even got into the water. Didn't charge us a dime! That is a good, honest person & company right here. Rather than take advantage of someone who was in trouble, he tried to help and when he couldnt, he simply walked away. That was much appreciated and I would recommend him and R&D to anyone. Honesty and trust is hard to find a business these days so IF you need a wrecker, I can recommend R&D Wrecker Service in Hixon! Thank you guys. read more

R & D Wrecker Service - Towing Near Me

7:30 Saturday night I'd never heard of R & D. Backed Honda Odyssey over a curb so it got stuck. Looked up towing, called R & D. Half an hour to get there--yes. Quoted $75 to get it loose--yes. Friendly capable worker--yes. Took plastic money on the spot--yes. read more

Immediate response. You will want to use R&D over any other wrecker service in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The apartment building I live in is having the parking lot resurfaced and the inconsiderate building management failed to sent out a reminder after the dates for the resurfacing were changed. As a result I forgot to move my car and it was towed by R&D. When I spoke to the building management they couldn't even be bothered to say they were sorry for the inconvenience, however, when I spoke with the owner at R&D he waived the $125 fee out of the kindness of his heart even though it cost him money to tow the car. I am not from around here and where I come from this would be unheard of. I'm sure he couldn't afford to do this sort of thing everyday but if you want to do business with a company that is going to treat you like a human being I would recommend you use R&D Services. read more

Rick and his crew are always on it in a timely manner. Always respectful and ready to work!

I have used this wrecker service several times over the years. They always show up when they say they're going show up and are very friendly. They've always done a good job towing for me and I would recommend them. I've never had to use true emergency service but I know that they do have that service were some record companies do not. A lot of times when you're calling a wrecker or tow truck you don't know what you're going to end up with and I can say these guys of always been clean and courteous when we've used them read more
