Mkhitar came and evaluated the space and then they got to work on everything. The desk was working great and i got to get everything setup for the New Year. All of a sudden i noticed the LED lighting starting to fall and act weird. It turned out the double sided tape that came with the LED was low quality and started to detach from the lights and the wall on three quarters of the room. After talking to Mkhitar, i got a new set of lights and stronger double sided tape to resolve the issue. They came back and put the new lights up with the stronger tape, got to areas i didn't have enough light for previously and really did a great job overall. I would highly recommend Mkhitar for any Handyman needs!

I was a bit hesitant to…read morecommission just any contractor because of the so many horrific stories I had heard from friends and friends of friends about contractors taking off with their money, doing a terrible job, or just not finishing the job they were paid to do. One of my wife's coworkers heard that my wife was looking for a contractor to build her an ADU unit and told her about a very pleasant experience she had with a gentleman that did worked in her apartment building. He shared his information with her in case something went wrong, and she needed them to return. She told us that he had done a phenomenal job and that everything turned out just beautiful. My wife and I visited her to see the work he did - we were very impressed. We got the contractor's information from her, and I called him up and setup and meeting to talk about his experience and other work he had done, and today, I am so glad we did!!! Jose the owner is a true professional. I just knew I wanted an ADU unit, but Jose assisted me and my wife by asking us many helpful questions about things we never thought of. He was patient, thorough and very knowledgeable of every aspect of construction. After half hour of talking with him, we knew we had found the right person for the job. He was very friendly and did not mind that my wife and I kept asking question for over 2 hours. He was happy to address any concern we had about building the ADU unit. A few days later, he called us to see if we had any other questions or concerns. At that point, we knew we were ready to contract with him and move forward with project. We received his estimate and it was very reasonable. All items that were going to be included in the project were broken down in detail. I felt at ease and it made me realize just how honest, trustworthy, and true Jose is to his estimates. A couple of days later after receiving the estimate, he called me to talk about any concerns I had with the contract and if I needed to know about any item on the list. My friends if this is not good and honest service, I do not know what is. At that point I was ready to begin the project. Jose and his team of professionals started the job on schedule. After every workday, his team cleaned-up and left the premises clean. Jose would call me or my wife in case we had any questions and would take time out of his busy day to walk us through what they were doing, and to know, if thus far, we were satisfied with the work they were doing - WOW!! I will also say Jose manages all aspect of the project, he is very approachable, and if you have any questions, he is always a phone call away. Every time we had any question, we called, and if he did not answer, he would get back to us that same day. Any issues that arose during the project, Jose would walk us through and explain the options we had including letting us know what options would keep us on budget or overspend. Jose and his team began on time, stayed on time, and kept the project on budget. This is exactly what you want from a contractor. I wanted to express my complete appreciation for the excellent service that my wife and I received from JLD construction for our new ADU unit. The Project was extremely successful and the ADU unit turned out just beautiful and my wife and I could not have been more please with their work and professionalism. His work exceeds all expectations and I recommend JLD construction to anyone that wants a great job done, on budget and by a true team of professionals. See the pictures for yourself!!!! THANK YOU JLD CONSTRUCTION!!!

I can't say enough good words about New Era Construction. Instead, I will let my story take you…read morethere. During my last week of escrow, prior to closing, I reached out to few contractors via Yelp's project service. New Era was one of the contacted companies and Elvis, the owner/head contractor responded to my request, texted and spoke on the phone to discuss the project. In order to get my project done in a couple of weeks, I pre-ordered all the supplies a couple of weeks prior to closing to avoid any supply chain problems and I needed the right contractor who understands timing and capacity planning. Elvis got it! We spoke on a Sunday, closed on the house and met Elvis in person on Thursday and started the project on Friday. Understanding the tight timeline, on Friday I had a full house. We tackled a full bathroom remodel, a kitchen remodel, full house (with soaring ceilings) painting, hung chandeliers and light fixtures throughout to list the major highlights. As with any profession, the workers put in eight hours daily, but not Elvis, he was there with me the full entire day. Elvis's dad who is a retired contractor/builder came in to help as well. They didn't treat me like a customer; I truly felt like family. They absolutely took care of me. There's always a risk when buying a house; not everything is easy and rosy, but having Elvis on my side, truly made it easier with his knowledge and expertise. If you are looking for contractors, New Era won't disappoint. I highly recommend them and their work ethic.
