It turned out the double sided tape that came with the LED was low quality and started to detach from the lights and the wall on three quarters of the room. One of my wife's coworkers heard that my wife was looking for a contractor to build her an ADU unit and told her about a very pleasant experience she had with a gentleman that did worked in her apartment building. He shared his information with her in case something went wrong, and she needed them to return. She told us that he had done a phenomenal job and that everything turned out just beautiful. My wife and I visited her to see the work he did - we were very impressed. We got the contractor's information from her, and I called him up and setup and meeting to talk about his experience and other work he had done, and today, I am so glad we did!!! Jose the owner is a true professional. I just knew I wanted an ADU unit, but Jose assisted me and my wife by asking us many helpful questions about things we never thought of. He was patient, thorough and very knowledgeable of every aspect of construction. After half hour of talking with him, we knew we had found the right person for the job. He was very friendly and did not mind that my wife and I kept asking question for over 2 hours. He was happy to address any concern we had about building the ADU unit. A few days later, he called us to see if we had any other questions or concerns. At that point, we knew we were ready to contract with him and move forward with project. We received his estimate and it was very reasonable. All items that were going to be included in the project were broken down in detail. I felt at ease and it made me realize just how honest, trustworthy, and true Jose is to his estimates. A couple of days later after receiving the estimate, he called me to talk about any concerns I had with the contract and if I needed to know about any item on the list. My friends if this is not good and honest service, I do not know what is. At that point I was ready to begin the project. Jose and his team of professionals started the job on schedule. After every workday, his team cleaned-up and left the premises clean. Jose would call me or my wife in case we had any questions and would take time out of his busy day to walk us through what they were doing, and to know, if thus far, we were satisfied with the work they were doing - WOW!! I will also say Jose manages all aspect of the project, he is very approachable, and if you have any questions, he is always a phone call away. Every time we had any question, we called, and if he did not answer, he would get back to us that same day. Any issues that arose during the project, Jose would walk us through and explain the options we had including letting us know what options would keep us on budget or overspend. Jose and his team began on time, stayed on time, and kept the project on budget. This is exactly what you want from a contractor. I wanted to express my complete appreciation for the excellent service that my wife and I received from JLD construction for our new ADU unit. The Project was extremely successful and the ADU unit turned out just beautiful and my wife and I could not have been more please with their work and professionalism.
