DO NOT HIRE AMERICAN KITCHEN AND BATH LOCATED IN HERNANDO FLORIDA!!!!…read moreThis is the worst managed business my wife and I had the misfortune to have dealt with. We ordered counter tops for two bathrooms, an external kitchen, a pizza oven top and laundry room. The external counter tops were to be done with granite because it was good choice for an external application and the internal counter tops were to be done with Quartz. When the installers arrived for the installation, we realized that the external counter top was done with quartz when we called Francisco (the owner of the business) he said that it was impossible but it turned out to be true. Francisco should have made sure that everything was done correctly before the installation; then we were told that the measurements were done incorrectly and we had to purchase an additional full slab of granite; we found it hard to believe that one full slab was not enough to complete both outside counters therefore, we had to pay for another full slab of granite. This delayed the completion of the project. Subsequently, we were told that there was left over granite, which we paid for, and requested to have them cut a simple small rectangular piece for a dresser in the lanai to be used for serving; Francisco assured us that it would be done. We gave them the measurements before they left. We were assured that it would be done and delivered the next time they were in the area, which was in May, 2024. After months of telephone calls, personal visits to their office and excuses, we still have not received the additional piece of granite and we now believe it will never happen. After Many excuses and promises we paid him for an unfinished job, which was our mistake. AGAIN DO NOT HIRE THIS BUSINESS FOR ANYTHING!!!

Frank said we would have to buy the roll of formica which was $150 then $75 for the install. First appointment had to be rescheduled because Frank ordered the wrong thing. Second appointment was scheduled for 10am didn't arrive until 10:40. Then I asked to keep the leftover material (that I paid for) and was refused. Frank said since he had to order it twice (his mistake) I would have to pay an additional $55, which was the restocking fee he had to pay for his mistake. Seems petty and wrong. I definitely won't be recommending this company or using them in the future.

The bars on the stall doors and window grates are spaced far enough apart that they are unsafe for a horse to go in the stall for fear of a foot going through it.
