We were here for my friend's wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. It's a bohemian dream. The day before, we were able to pick wildflowers in the fields which were then used for table centerpieces. I discovered I do not have an eye for flower arrangement. Thankfully there were more creative women in our group and they were able to provide some assistance in making my flower arrangements more aesthetically pleasing. Came here for a wedding on a Friday night in June, gorgeous venue. Great food and even better drinks! Bartenders were very nice and attentive and went out their way to make special drink requests for the guests. Drinks were very different and cool not just your regular wedding venue drinks, they made specialty ones. All the employees were very kind and on top of it. read more

My husband and I spent the best morning at Quonquont Farm! We started off with peach picking, and the staff were so helpful in guiding us on how to pick the best peaches (all the staff were super friendly and helpful!). We also picked some Paula Redd apples which were just made available and spent some time making our own flower bouquet in the pick your own flower area. We also loved that we could bring our dog (leashed, well behaved dogs are allowed). It was the perfect morning and we will definitely be back! read more

Leading up to the event Jenelle was always so amazing in keeping an open line of communication and helping us plan the event itself, she helped with so much from A/V vendors to Shuttle Bus companies; day of the wedding both my wife and I would have been completely lost without Jenelle and Maddy guiding us through the whole day which can be such a whirlwind - besides the beauty of the venue itself, it was the professionalism and execution of the event that cemented our opinion that this venue was perfect for our wedding. We went here recently as guests at a wedding. It's a beautiful venue. The ceremony was in the apple orchard and was very nice. The reception was held in the barn, with a nice little patio area outside for cocktail hour. The background foliage was gorgeous for the bridal party photos. Wow, what a luxurious venue for a wedding. My cousin, whose keen eye for detail and top-shelf tendencies, picked the venue herself. My partner and I, traveling from Seattle to the wedding, were hoping for something classic and beautiful, and bracing ourselves for something back country and hickish. WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE when we pulled up to this beautiful farmhouse and were like "wow, this is such an impressive structure for an organized party/event." The structure was warm and inviting, with beautiful lighting fixtures and plenty of room for approximately a hundred or so people to mingle and drink and eat and be merry. My cousin knocked it out of the park with selecting Quonquont Farm for her wedding reception. I'm sure I'll eventually move to New England, and it's always great to have fabulous function locations in mind, and Quonquont Farms can easily be on your short list. read more

So beautiful! We went to pick apples on one of the last days of fall picking. We were greeted by super friendly and informative staff who described various apples and pointed us in the best directions for picking each one. Even through there was a wedding happing at the venue we were still greeted and welcomed to the fields. As a wedding venue it looks like it would be beautiful with the tiled silos and barn. I am reviewing this as a farm. It is a lovely location and apple picking in the past was fine. Blueberry picking was terrible. Sure, it is late in the season for them...ok. But after I struggle to fill only one quart, they say, "Wow, great you were able to find so many, things are very picked over." And then, they go on to say they were bringing people to the back-up field. What? After I struggled to pick only one quart? I usually pick 4 or so at a time. A pretty farm that does u-pick blueberries, peaches and apples just outside Northampton. It's really picturesque - the blueberry bushes are near a small stream with a little bridge over it. They also recently started offering u-pick flowers, and they were in high bloom when we went in early August. I picked pretty much every flower I liked and my bouquet was only $4. The farm stand has the products from the farm plus some local maple syrup, cider syrup, cider, jam, tasteful greeting cards, and cute t-shirts and baby rompers that say "half-pint" on them - we got one for our son. In addition to the more gifty stuff, they also sell not-too-sweet sodas for a buck if you've worked up a thirst picking. This is an excellent place to let your kids explore. We'll definitely go back. read more

Jenelle and Maddie are the absolute best. They are sweet, calm, and super accommodating. I planned a long distance wedding and knew Quonquont was the place once I saw it. I planned my wedding quickly, as I didn't want to stress as the day approached. And on the day, left everything in the hands of Jenelle. The day was amazing. Granted it rained, but we were able to get pics before the rain really started to come down. We had to have our ceremony inside because of the rain, but to be honest, it actually made it more intimate and special. It was a fantastic day, made all the better because of Jenelle and Maddie! I went to Quonquont for the first time this year on the recommendation of several long-time locals. It was lovely! The grounds are beautiful here (gorgeous farm-chic event space; would be great for a wedding). The apples were crisp and delicious and everyone was wonderfully nice. We had our wedding at Quonquont a few weeks ago and people continue to rave about how beautiful the space was. Jenelle and her team were extremely helpful throughout the whole process, the farm was gorgeous, the barn was perfectly set up, and Jenelle made sure to make it easy for us to have an additional Sunday morning brunch back at the farm as well. The price also felt extremely fair- Saturday rental for $2700. I'm not sure if this has changed given their growing popularity but compared to lots of other farm/barns in the area, we thought it was a great rate, especially since it included all the tables, chairs, and ceremony chairs. I have a feeling they're booking up quickly but the Northampton area is perfect for a summer wedding! The only downsides: It was fantastic to have air conditioning in the barn- and very much needed- but once the reception began, the barn felt pretty toasy. It might have been that it was just so hot outside and there were 130 people inside. The town of Whately places noise restrictions on the events so there's a particular decibel level the band/DJ cannot exceed (which I don't think should be a problem since the doors to barn must remain closed) but it means no music outside during the cocktail hour and the doors do have to remain closed during the reception. Also, the town of Whately requires that events be over by 10 pm. This was fine for us but I could imagine that it'd be a problem for others. read more

The perfect most picturesque wedding venue. Jenelle (the wedding coordinator) is amazing and so helpful throughout the entire process! Even when we ran into a hiccup during the wedding with the open bar she quickly fixed the issue and corrected things moving forward to our original wishes. So great to work with her and her team. I lost my veil at some point during the evening and it didn't get packed up with our stuff at the end of the night. They found it at the barn and held onto it for me until I could get there a week later to pick it up! The venue is just absolutely gorgeous. If you want a New England farm/rustic charm wedding this is 100% your spot! All of our guests raved about the beauty of the location. We are so happy we picked Quonquont Farm to have our September wedding at. It was the perfect setting for our perfect day! Highly highly highly recommend! read more

Went to a wedding here a few weeks ago and it was GORGEOUS!! Such a beautiful venue and the grounds where amazing. Staff seemed wonderful. My only suggestion would be for the farm to convert some of the unused vertical space in the barn into a loft area for the bridal party to look down on the guests. It seems like there is perfectly flat space above the bar/catering area that would be PERFECT for that. Could also serve as a little getaway area for the bride/groom who may want some breather time or a place to take it all in from above. That is literally my one and only suggestion for this venue. This year (2015), the apples weren't great in mid-October - just a lot of damaged apples - not sure why. In the past years, it's been pretty good. Other orchards not too far away (like Apex) were better this year. Otherwise, the selection of apples is pretty broad - better than most places. I have to echo the one bad review - not about wedding planning, but of the prickly nature of the owner in such a customer-facing, but simple seasonal business selling apples. read more

I LOVE Quonquont Farms and their wonderful site coordinator, Jenelle! We were married here last month (August, 2013) and loved every minute of it. The grounds are amazing, the barn has been renovated beautifully, and Jenelle is a true gem. There are some not-so-great reviews out there -- which actually shocked me! For comparison sake, we were married in the apple orchard, had our cocktail hour outside on the patio and had the reception in the barn. Everything went smoothly and truly exceeded our expectations. Unlike other reviewers, we had no problems with the noise level (if you are worried about I HIGHLY recommend Chris from Cloud Nine Productions, you will not regret it, he is amazing). Everyone (me and my husband included) had a great time, and we heard from so many guests who loved the venue. As a huge bonus, Jenelle essentially acted as our wedding planner and did a fantastic job making keeping us calm and happy throughout the entire process. I would recommend this venue to any bride who is looking for a sophisticated, beautiful, farm wedding (and let's face it, who doesn't want that?!). read more

My husband and I recently had our wedding ceremony/reception at this venue. This is a beautiful wedding venue set in rustic western ma. Besides that really not a pleasant place to be at all, not worth hassle! The owner was overbearing and seemed miserable to deal with. Questioning my guests outside as they went to their cars. My disc jockey, which i paid $3,000 to get for the night was unable to play the music remotely loud, thus dancing was very hindered. We were not able to have any music outside for cocktails. The only saving grace/positive i can say about this place is that Janelle (wedding coordinator) was very passionate, qualified, experienced and dependable. I would never recommend this wedding venue to anyone, they nearly ruined my special day! Save yourself the trouble! read more
