Very deceiving since it seems like a tiny spot but it's actually pretty big with very reasonable pricing and amazing vintage stuff. They even have a small selection of vintage clothing. Cool ceiling lamps, vinyls, cd's, you name it. Awesome staff and things that are very well kept and funky while still super reasonable. Can't wait to come back and hunt for some cool finds. Definitely one of the coolest vintage/thrift shops in the area!

The prices aren't low, but they're fair. Similar items selling on Poshmark and eBay and other such sites are going for double and sometimes triple the prices that they are asking for. They are extremely knowledgeable in their vocation. They know what they're doing and they know the proper price point. They also offer really cool and unique up-cycled products. I urge you to go check out the up-cycled vintage 80s jeans. Vintage Shop Carmel is also a consignment shop so if you yourself are looking to sell vintage or antique goods, including clothing and purses at a great price, they're the ones for you. Last, but not least the ladies who own and work at the shop are absolutely positively incredible. Not only are they knowledgeable, but they are funny. They are kind. They are down to earth and they are helpful. I have a lot of experience with vintage shops and consignment shops, and I have always felt slightly uncomfortable and out of place. I have been an avid thrifter for a year now and haven't been able to find an authentic, y2k, and in-good-condition coach bag. (and to all my vintage coach girlies you know how hard they are to find in a thrift store fairly priced as opposed to those god awful depop resellers) I thought I could never get my hands on one until today! The owner actually gave me a $20 discount after I asked for one!! It was on the pricy side, but I also felt good about my purchase knowing that a portion of the money was going to charity. This particular spot had a wide variety of items. I found many items I was interested in, and then I came across a Steiff Hand puppet hedgehog. It was not in the best condition, but once I saw it, I could not get it out of my head. By far the cutest little find to add to my Steiff collection! I'd been in some time ago but don't remember the selection this good. Nice mix of new and well-priced used. Example, I paid under $10 for a Promo copy of Elvis Costello Blood and Chocolate in very nice, VG+/E condition. Good Jazz selections as well. They also had a nice selection of bootlegs which you don't see very often. They sell books and clothing which for me usually means it's not a serious store, but Main Steet Beat is the exception. Great staff well laid out and popular, the store has a nice vibe plus Nyack is a fun town to visit with great restaurants and a rich history.
