The connecting room setup worked perfectly for us, plenty of space between the two rooms, and the staff had clearly thought through what families actually need, right down to the football shirts waiting for our kids on arrival. What really stood out was the spa, chromotherapy showers, a jacuzzi, and this bucket contraption that tips warm water on you when you least expect it, sounds odd but the kids were obsessed. Add in a genuinely excellent dinner at the in-house restaurant and a location that puts you right in the middle of old Lisbon, and it's easy to see why this place is so well rated. All the people at the front desk and dedicated concierges were super friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions, tourist suggestions, and travel suggestions (useful since a train strike was in effect during my stay). The head of the housecleaning department even repaired (sewed) a pair of pants I tore on my visit-talk about going above and beyond the call of duty. The hotel offers its guests a number of freebies that are much appreciated. Besides complimentary cook to order breakfast the hotel offers 3 free walking tours around the city and in room mini bar items-such as water, soft drinks, and beer-are also complimentary. The hotel even has various snacks (cookies, snacks, some food items) offered to guests in the lobby entrance as well as a daily happy hour. One final bonus are the 17th century ruins in the downstairs lounge area. Finally, the location is excellent. Corpo Santo is about a minute walk from Pink Street, 5 minute walk from Time Out Market, and very close to a number of tourist attractions in a less densely populated area than other hotels I looked at as well as a short walk from the water. Very easy for Uber drivers to find the hotel. This was my first visit to Lisbon but if I return I will definitely stay again at Corpo Santo. Muito bom!!

Breakfast was not good and I was hounded by being hovered over for them not having me on a list which was their error. The fact that you'd have to stand over me after I explain we changed rooms was so embarrassing. There are many other hotels we saw in the area. We will never stay here again. Too many options for this type of service.

There's a small tunnel that our taxi driver swooped us down to and there we were in front of Memmo. A small hotel with a stunning view of Lisbon. The front desk, specifically Leonardo, was very helpful and Bruno brought our suitcases to us while acclimating us to the hotel and our lovely Superior Family Room. It was well equipped with everything we wanted plus a cute little dessert tray welcoming us. So happy I picked this place for our second time in Lisbon.

The water pressure was wonderful also. We were there in August and the air conditioning worked well also. The room also had a ceiling fan. The restaurant and bar was really good also. They have an incredible hamburger. Browns also has a coffee shop nextdoor. Brown's Central is in the heart of shopping, restaurants, coffee and pastry shops. As a result this led to me having one of the absolute worst nights of my entire life that easily could've been avoided had they just let me pay by credit card for the pub crawl. Had I been able to do that, I would have been able to go out with people, but ended up going out by myself that led to the worst nightlife incident I ever had. The atms near the hostel do NOT work, AT ALL. I tried multiple times I've never failed on a foreign country's atm in my life. Do NOT come here if you're using credit cards. Actually don't come here at all, when I told them about the incident, all they said was "oh too bad" talk about not comforting your guests at all. They only take cash for some reason. I would NOT recommend staying here. I never wanted to check out of a hostel faster in my life. Extremely disappointed especially when factoring the "good reviews". This was the worst international experience I have ever had and I have been to many countries, hostels, nightlife, just a truly traumatic and awful experience. Just never again

On our second visit we ordered the special degustation menu for two people. It was priced at 69 euros per person and it was amazing and portions were large. It included five courses plus a dessert sample platter. We only ate the first four courses and then informed the server to not have the chef make the fifth course. We forced ourselves to eat desserts and they were both spectacular. The room was very large with a huge balcony and views of Lisbon. The hotel and rooms are well insulated and we never heard any noise from adjacent rooms or the hallways. A room safe large enough for a laptop and valuables was perfect. Views from the rooftop running track were stunning. The bathroom was huge with separate areas for the sinks, the shower, the toilet and the deep bathtub. The toiletries were high end products from L'Occitane. This is a true luxury hotel with service and food to match. We highly recommend this hotel!
