He knows his stuff for sure-and has helped one of my other Doctors with a medical issue he wasn't responsible for or specialized in. Without getting into details..I'll say he saved my foot and perhaps my sanity when I had excruciating pain of 8+ on a daily basis 24/7 . Can't say enough good things about Dr DeWire. He's a medical genius in my opinion

I was referred here when I called a main number for Orthopedic Specialists of MA. and was able to get a same day appointment and left to go to Dr. Dewire's office at Milton Hospital with my x-ray disk. Got a phone call 10 minutes later saying that Dr. Dewire needs to see the x-rays first before seeing any patient and could I drop them off and he would look at the x-rays and then they would call me to schedule an appointment for the following day. Well I drove all the way to the hospital and walked on a bad foot quite a way to find his office and dropped off the disk and was told they would call me after he reviewed it. Well, no call the next day so I called that morning. He's in surgery...we will call you this afternoon. I was not feeling good about this response and basically lack of empathy when I reiterated that I needed to be seen that day. I called another Ortho doctor and had an appointment 1 hour after making the call. Had to go and get another copy of the x-ray from my doctor and now scheduled for surgery due to the severity of my injury. I wasted time and energy and nobody from Dr. Dewire's office ever even called me back. I agree with a previous comment I see on here....find another doctor!!!! UPDATE: Finally received a call from Dr. Dewire's Milton office on Oct 23rd at 4:50 p.m. (8 days after I dropped of the x-ray). I happened to be in the hospital at this time recovering from my foot surgery. The woman calling said...we have your x-ray here? I explained they were 8 days late contacting me and I just had surgery due to osteomyelitis in my foot. No apologies or explanation given, just a good luck to you...bye! I'm grateful I found a doctor that helped me in a crisis situation and would hope that this review will direct people to look elsewhere because here they just don't care.

The practitioners here are exceptionally trained and qualified, with most, if not all, having advanced degrees in Physical Therapy and extensive practical hands-on experience. Samantha ("Sammy") Rondeau, DPT, led my first series of PT sessions for right knee replacement. This was personally challenging as I'd never experienced a surgery or recovery like this one. Sammy outlined, explained, and led 3-times a week sessions to restore movement and full use of my right leg. This included home exercises (I continue to use as part of my home workouts.) Sammy is also leading my rotator cuff PT (which I started this week.) A comprehensive assessment coupled with MD recommendations precedes physical therapy here. Everyone here is very client-focused. Lots of off-street parking and a comfortable waiting room. The staff are all upbeat and eager to guide the rest of us to improved health. There are many PT clinics in the immediate area, but I am very fortunate to work with this one.

I've been searching for real help for over 10 years, and I don't say this lightly when I say that…read moremeeting Carina O'Neill truly changed something in me. Over the years, I've seen countless doctors, specialists, and pain clinics. I've had just about every injection you can imagine. What stood out to me before I even met her was that multiple doctors, all from different buildings and institutions, independently told me the same thing, "If anyone can help you, it's her." That alone says everything. From the moment I met Dr. O'Neill at Spaulding in Braintree, I felt something I haven't felt in a very long time... I truly felt seen. She didn't rush me. She didn't talk over me. She didn't treat me like a chart, a case, or a number. She treated me like a human being who has been carrying pain for a very long time. Her empathy was immediate and genuine. She spoke to me gently, listened fully, and truly validated everything I've been experiencing for years. The injections themselves were unlike anything I've ever had, and that's saying a lot. (I've had hundred maybe even thousands of injections over the years) She was able to inject in places no other doctor has ever addressed, areas I didn't even realize could be treated because no one else had the experience or confidence to go there. I felt relief right away, and in the days following I've noticed slow, meaningful progress, the kind of progress that brings real hope. But more than the physical relief, what has stayed with me is knowing that she truly cares. I can tell that no matter what, she will do everything in her power to help me. That kind of care is rare. After a decade of feeling dismissed, minimized, or overlooked, she made me feel like a person again. I now completely understand why she's talked about the way she is, why doctors across New England know her name, and why she's the one they send their hardest cases to. One visit was enough to see it clearly. Carina O'Neill is extraordinary. Without question, Carina O'Neill has put Spaulding Rehabilitation in Braintree on the map. I am beyond grateful I found my way to her, and for the first time in years, I feel hopeful.

I've done OT, but much prefer PT. Now the facility is located in the same building as Atrius health, five guys, crush pizza, and Quincy College. A rocks throw from Quincy center train station on the red line. Parking is street or you could use the paid parking garage out back. So far I'm a month or so in, i believe we are making progress and my main PT doc Julianne has spear headed my regimens of PT to get me back on track. All the PT staff here is super personable, nice and helpful. They'll go above and beyond to address lateral and related issues you may have stemming from the initial reason you're attending PT to begin with. Each exercise is calculated to target certain strengthening of muscle groups to aid in your recovery and pain management. I've seen all walks of life here and everyone has been really chill and communicative. The space is clean and clear with mellow tracks playing in the background. I'm in and out in hour or so each session and we progress on weights and reps each week with a swap of different exercises to focus on the next item in your treatment plan. My doc also is very helpful working with you to help get you to other specialists and contacts so further assist in your recovery if needed. Don't be afraid to pop in and inquire about your specific needs. I've already referred some folks to seek out Professional Physical therapy here when it's brought up as a need. See you next session!
