I left with nothing and won't be back. Stores wonder why people shop Hobby Lobby and online. This is why. Less expensive even with the cost of shipping.

Even though Seams is about an hour drive, I will be back when I am finished with these projects.

The newly-built store opened in April 2025 and is a combination fabric store and Amish general store. The aisles are wide, the lighting is excellent, the inventory is updated and very well organized, the prices are very good, the store is spotlessly clean, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They only offered one brand of machine and their fabric line wasn't as good either. Staff didn't appear as helpful. I don't know what they are like since they moved. I guess I should give them another try, but I don't go to Kalamazoo that often.

Sadly, it was the Corona virus and my need for fabric to make masks ( to donate ) which finally introduced me to this sweet lady and her successful shop. The place is wall to wall with quality quilting grade fabrics and associated trims and products. She is so helpful and energetic. The ladies shopping seemed very engaged and interactive with her and finding lots in her store as well. I found everything I needed for sure. Lots and lots of beautiful fabric. Nice fabrics, patterns & books, The store samples give you great ideas in case you didn't arrive with any of your own. There were some hexagonal table runner & candle mat sets hanging on one wall. (See my photos.) Fabric from Moda and other high-quality manufacturers. Fat quarter bundles are made up and ready to grab for projects. They come with free quilt patterns put together by the store. The really special thing about this store is all the ribbon and trim. There are hair bows already made up and for sale, or you can buy some of the ribbons and make your own. Bring your little girl here and she'll pick out something beautiful to tie back her hair. Be sure to see my photos, and check out the little snap purses made from the Offray ombre ribbon roses.
