We also use items in decorating homes we stage. We love how the majority of the store is step in vignette style settings instead of the standard maze of small square booths. It really gives us some great ideas on how to use the items we find in stylish new ways. Things we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. We visit about once a month and are always amazed that we always find new and exciting things to buy. This is not your standard antique mall with the same items in the same booths year after year. It is also very clean and does not have the stale antique smell like so many antique stores. Prices are also lower than the we find in larger cities (GR) which also does not hurt. In regard to the friendliness of the owners and clerks, we cannot disagree more with the earlier post. The owners and clerks are always very helpful and courteous. I have never entered without being greeted and the owners are often walking the floor asking if you need any help. And as we have been there many times, I think we can say that is the norm unlike the earlier review. I find myself always recommending this mall to all my friends which is probably the best rating I can give it, and highly recommend a visit if you are looking for that special something for your home.

I have found a lot of great items here, and their clearance is a decent deal. Keep an eye on their social media, they post items that are available that you can hold, and they announce sales and stuff. I have found their customer service to be decent, better than other similar stores. They are pretty good about getting fitting rooms unlocked and they are usually pretty busy. Be aware what you're getting into before you even attempt to sell. (That goes for Plato's as well or any similar store.) You will get back like 30% of what Style Encore will sell it for- so don't expect to get your money back. The items need to be decent, popular brands in recent styles, and in excellent condition. In my experience, unique/ embellished styles sell better than plain/ classic styles unless they are new with tags. Some common brands I saw and have sold are Loft, Ann Taylor, Lucky, Fossil, Toms, Adidas, Under Armour etc. Last I went they had a huge Lularoe section and a large activewear section too.

I am curious to know what the owners of The Bear and Fox DON'T use AI for, because they take AI use to an entirely new level and it really just comes across as lazy and unprofessional. Why should I spend my hard earned money at a business that is too lazy to invest in their own business by hiring a graphic designer for their logo, or at the very least spend a few minutes in an editing program to make a flier that is not visually abhorrent? Why should I go out of my way to shop local when this business is so lazy and cares so little that they need AI to regurgitate word salad for their emails and social media posts? Why even bother owning a business that is specifically catered to crafts if you are going to outsource every creative aspect to a robot? The AI is getting so exhausting. It is EVERYWHERE and it is a punch in the gut to see a business built around human creativity and handmade crafts use this kind of technology, despite the environmental impact and the theft that takes place to train AI models. I cannot speak for everyone, but fiber arts is my escape from being bombarded by AI and the need to be hyper-vigilant of what is real and what is fabricated. The incessant AI is just more than I am willing to tolerate tainting my hobby. I don't own a business, I am sure it is so much harder than it looks and I am sure the owners are just trying their best with the tools they have at their disposal. However, no amount of business optimization and time saving is worth what AI is doing to the planet, the fiber arts community and the communities living in areas where data centers are being built.
