Then this guy tries to defend the delivery guys like I didn't look at the fridge to see what damage it would have had in the store. It was dented for sure but not chipped and white gouges. So I guess I'm an idiot on top of that? I paid in cash two days ago but they can't return me my money? We've contacted HP customer service multiple times and have walked in to talk to them. We've sent emails or pictures and measurements to show proof it's a manufacturing problem and not an installation problem. We have YET to hear from HP. It's already been 2 months since HP said they will fix our problem. I'm losing faith with the portage staff of Hp since our experience with the staff is getting worse every time we walk through their doors. Furthermore, we found out the lady we enjoyed working with to order our doors quit her job when we asked for her help. Of the three big corporate home improvement companies in the Kalamazoo area, I vote The Home Depot to be the best one to go for your home improvement needs. Even though I like Lowe's design styles better, HD overall has the best customer service. I've bought my carpet and carpet installation from HP. Both flooring associates and the carpet installers were friendly and professional. Be prepared and expect delays on getting carpet installed. We set a date back in June 2017 and had to reschedule the install twice, and finally got the carpet installed in August 2017. After the carpet installers left, I asked them to leave us the left over carpet. What I found was a large clear bag full of the new carpet with trash and dirt mixed inside. It was disappointing to see all the extra carpet gone to waste. Furthermore, when I was reassessing my furniture, I noticed the installers broke my desk, which cannot stand up on it's own because one of the legs was broken from the moving furniture. Also I've ordered custom made doors. Buyers beware on which associate you work with. Make sure you ask for an associate that KNOWS and understand doors. We first had an associate that knows how to order materials online but didn't have the expertise in doors. This resulted in us returning half of our doors back because they were built wrong. HD customer service was very helpful in fixing our issues. Additionally, I got help from the kitchen design people to help me order two cabinet doors. They were very helpful and even called me at home to confirm sizes and to order online so I didn't have to drive back to the store. I would recommend this place because of the overall quality of the customer service in multiple departments, especially if you are looking to ordering/updating/installing anything in your home. The installers could do a better job in being more careful with customer's property and discuss how to move things around so furniture doesn't get damaged.

My super horrible immune system keeps our washing machine running all the time. Germs are everywhere and I just pick them up way too easily to play fast and loose with the cold and flu. We have an older top loading Whirlpool washing machine that I adore and it recently started getting sick. At first it would not wring our clothes and linens out completely, so I would need to run an additional one or two spin cycles. Then it started eating our very expensive sheets and towels. Our home warranty covers the repair cost of our machine, and they sent Nelson's Appliance and Rob in to fix the problem. After a quick look Rob explained to me that our machine needs a new transmission - washing machines have transmissions, who knew? We are now waiting on part costs and estimates. Nelson's Appliance was timely and helpful. They knew their washing machine stuff and helped me understand exactly what was going on and how it was going to be fixed in a timely manner. In the future I would be very comfortable using their services for non-home warranty covered issues if any other problems arise.
