I'm taking a sock class right now, and the instructor, Ann, is great! My only gripe is they don't carry a couple of my favorite fibers, but overall, they have a good selection of fiber. Plus, I understand that you can't please everyone all of the time! Overall, my favorite knitting shop.

Instead of just having a "man chair" for husbands and boyfriends waiting while their partners try on clothing, R & P has a full oasis out back with a beautiful garden and a lovely little pond. It's a nice compromise since I spend a ton of time checking out every little nook and cranny of both floors of these partnered stores. They've remodeled a bit so be sure to check out the changes upstairs (they had an awesome selection of clearance clothing up there for 50% off on my most recent visit).
