The business is mostly online sales (which is great) therefore they have it numbered and stacked for easy retrieval to fill the online order. You cannot "see" the fabric unless you pull each bolt out and unwrap from a plastic bag. The staff is very friendly and helpful but I don't always know what I'm looking for until I see it. I don't know what the solution is but shop online and know what you are looking for before you arrive or maybe they should figure out a way to have a real storefront and display their goods. I feel like their business would really take off and grow exponentially if we could go "see" what they have especially since Joann's is now gone.

I didn't have a lot of confidence ahead of time about this store because their online presence is not as great as some of the bigger stores, but I was thrilled to find you can't judge a needlepoint store by its website. Great selection of unique canvases I hadn't seen online or in other shops, as well as many canvases by the well known needlepoint designers. Because you're in Chapel Hill, of course you can find all the UNC needlepoint you could ever want, and they even have a somewhat smaller selection for the Duke student/grad/fan in your life. If you're in the area, this one is worth a visit.

She also has a huge selection of crystal beads (actually crystals, not like Swarovski crystals, though she might have some of those in the bead room). She teaches classes, too, but it's a bit too far for me to drive. Would love to take them! We'll absolutely be back! Random observation: There are a bunch of 1 star reviews for this shop, all for the same reason of the store hours differing from the website. All of the reviews are from Yelpers with only one review, which I find highly suspicious. Pay them no mind, this is a wonderful crystal and bead shop that you shouldn't pass up!
