They had some pretty decent prices on beef but we didn't grab any but I'll be keeping that in mind for the next trip. Restroom was super clean and there was some actual soap instead of the sanitizer that I've seen @ other locations. That is true for this location. I think access is a little tough here. Wal-Mart parking lots are terrifying places so it's nice that this gas station is at least a little bit out of the way. It's on the south side of the shopping center, so you'd be best to turn in off of 111th St. rather than snake your way in off of Memorial. Finally, they also sell pop and other convenience store items in the little building in the middle. I haven't tried it, so I'll leave that part for someone else to review. Recently, the store began limiting side options, for the $5 meal to mash potatoes, green beans, fried okra and potato wedges, but failed to update signage or inform customers, which constitutes deceptive "bait and switch" advertising. Workers and cooks behind the counter explain macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, and loaded baked potato are reserved for the more expensive meals. No signage in the advertising explains this. In fact, in the advertised photo, macaron and cheese is included in the $5 meal, which is not only misleading, but constitutes false business practices, false advertising, and confusing to customers. When I politely approached and spoke with the Customer Service Experience Manager, Brandon McManus, he was rude, racist and disrespectful, and seemingly angry. Clearly he was prejudice. dismissive, and uninformed about the policy change. He told me the issue "did not matter" and refused to help, explaining it is what it was; otherwise, "take it or leave it", attitude. I am not used to being treated with such disdain and discourtesy from a business. I request that Reasor's/Brookshire Grocery Co clarify their $5 meal offerings, provide transparent signage, and ensure management treats customers respectfully, while refraining from engaging in illicit, and unethical business practices. Also, refrain from being defensive when a customer kindly approaches your staff and asks multiple questions. It is okay to admit not knowing something, but not okay to get irate, rude, unprofessional with customers w/o trying to at least investigate the situation and get back with the customer. It's not okay to be illiterate on product offerings, policy changes.

Instead of embarrassing a little girl at checkout, the employee recognized what was happening and kindly pushed the transaction through. I saw the incorrect PIN notification on my phone, immediately tried calling my daughter, and we both went back to settle the payment. That small act of kindness and understanding meant a lot. It's refreshing to see people use good judgment, compassion, and common sense in moments like that. Thank you to the team for handling the situation with such grace.
