Went to a silent disco for my 25th birthday at Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden on Friday with 20 of my friends. We had the time of our lives!!!! It was so much fun and everyone is talking about how much fun they had. Although it started at 10pm, it was basically almost empty until around 11:15. The room filled up pretty quickly once 11:15 hit and the lights turned off for an even cooler ambience with our glowing headphones! The DJs were awesome and even shouted me out twice for my birthday! The playlists were spot on and so many great songs were played! We are from Suffolk County so this isn't something we can always do, but it would be awesome if you can create more events in Long Island! WE HAD A BLAST! THANK YOU SO MUCH! read more

We have used Quiet events twice now and have had an excellent experience both times. Very easy to use, good quality sound and great instructions (use and shipping). read more

Had a wonderful time using quiet events. I truly loved how they laid everything out for you and there were clear eye catching instructions. The only thing I missed was I ordered their mp3 players but ended up preferring a different music selection and I wasn't sure how to connect in the mp3 players so we never used them. We were only able to use one channel connected in via Bluetooth. I am sure it was operator error. We still had a great time and will definitely be using them again. read more

I received an email from Yelp about a quiet clubbing experience we had to sign up & hopefully win tickets to attend the event. I got lucky & won tickets, ticket win included the headphones. We arrived a little early so we just hung out at the bar till they were finished setting up, once signed in we got our headphones & it was quiet clubbing time. if u have ever done quiet clubbing it's an experience on it's own u get these headphones & basically pick which music u prefer to hear between 3 Dj's not a bad deal, everyone is pretty much in their own zone fun event to attend with friends. This one was held at the Bohemian beer garden the inside hall, nice big open space perfect for such an event, we had a great time. read more

Great product, great response time, great price. we have used Quiet Events for two years now and have had great success with their reliability and communication. They are always available for help and want to make sure you have a working product on the day of your event. We decided to do a silent disco as one of the events for the 5th grade fun day. To say this was a hit, is an understatement! We rented 42 headphones for a class on 90 kids and for 6 hours the headphones were always in use. It was by far the busiest event that day and the kids loved it! This company was super easy to work with and very professional. The equipment was very easy to set up and use. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to host a silent dance party. read more

I did this crazy dance party through the streets with friends a few years ago and I was hooked! I wanted to write this because I have now been to at least 8 events and each time their staff has been awesome and the people are amazing. This is such a great concept and so much fun. Since then I have been in the Village Halloween parade 4 times, danced on the subways, taken history tours and gone to places I would never have thought! read more

Used these for a multi-generational dance party and they were a huge hit. Transmitters were easy to configure and worked great as did all of the headphones. Y'ALL! Do you want to be popular? Do you want more friends? Do you want a GOOD TIME? Well, These guys are the best. This was my 3rd-4th time renting for a house party and it's always a success. Such a crowd pleaser and you don't even disturb the neighbors! Easy to rent, you talk to real people, easy to receive/return, easy to set up even if you're technologically challenged. Who wouldn't love this type of party? It's so fun. Do it. I'll be doing it again in the fall. read more

I was hired to produce a silent disco for a kids birthday party and quiet events came to the rescue. They were amazing. I had the opportunity to work with Audra. We have worked with Quiet Events for two of our company tour day events now and have been very happy with the product. We have worked with TJ Fitzimmons who has been great at walking through our product needs and what will work best for our group. On site having colors associated with the channels is great and makes it easy for all attendees to know if they are on the correct channel in order to hear the speaker. For us, I think the days of bring with individual speakers and mic for tour days are over. This is the way of the future. I am so glad that I no longer have to worry about if everyone on our tour day can hear the speaker. We can bring a group of 50 or 150 people together and everyone hears what is being said. read more

Autism Awareness Event We had a blast! The Quiet Event Concept was a great way to allow students with autism and other sensory input differences the opportunity to socialize and interact with their peers. The headphones leveled the playing field. Students from different classifications (autism, physical disabilities, emotional disturbances, etc.) interacted with each other in ways that we have not seen before. Students were able to choose their playlist and volume. Staff had a great time as well. We will definitely do this event again. Additionally, Audra and the Quiet Events staff ensured that the event went smoothly. The package arrived early, the party was easy to set up and it was easy to return. read more

I went to my first silent music party this weekend in new york city and it was so much fun. Such a great idea. You could tune into one of three different stations. Green was top 40. Blue was classics and red was another station. Everyone was jamming out to fantastic music! The headphones were very user friendly. The atmosphere was great. Lots of dancing and singing out loud and some group dances. So much fun. I'd definitely go to another event !! read more

OKAY so this was the COOLEST thing I have done since I moved to the city. They hold random events pretty much everywhere all over the city and usually its completely free. I would just recommend planning WAY ahead and showing up early because people tend to line up and I'm sure they run out at some point. How it works: You can get "tickets" online but I don't think that does anything - it doesn't reserve you a spot or anything but they claim they'll tell you if its cancelled or anything, that way you're the first to know which is a plus I guess. But no perks from getting tickets online. So you show up and wait in a line, wherever the line begins, they have staff so it's pretty organized. To the particular event I attended (in Bryant Park), they passed out cute freebies like light up rings while we were waiting in the cold. When you get to the counter, they'll ask you for a credit card which is just in case you lose the headphones. You get a confirmation text saying that you checked out the headphones. If you fail to return them at the end of the night - its a whopping $100! So don't forget lol. Other than that, grab the headphones - there's three DJs battling for your attention - a top 40, 80/90s, and throwbacks. There's a wide variety of music and the headphones light up according to which DJ you're listening to. Will I be back?? I've been looking for another event SOON in the city. The day I went, it was dreadful waiting in the cold but once you're in a crowd, the cold is bearable. I highly recommend grabbing a few friends and doing this! SO MUCH FUUUUUN. read more

I am so happy I went quiet clubbing! My friends and I decided to go to a quiet clubbing event on a Saturday night, it was being held in Iron Bar in the city. I honestly had a blast, I haven't danced this much in awhile. So I face this issue where I go to a club and there are some songs that I love dancing to and then there are others that I really don't care too much for and just hope that the next song is better - the difference with quiet clubbing is that you can just keep switching stations and dance to the music you want! For example, there was a point where I was dancing my butt off to dancehall music while other people were singing along to Uptown Girl haha - the point is that you can seriously dance the whole time - I literally danced the WHOLE entire time! So here's the scoop, you actually get wireless headphones that have lights on them. The lights are red, blue, or green depending on the DJ station you're listening to - you have a switch on the side which lets you decide. The DJs are set up (at least at Iron Bar) by the dance floor where they have the lights around them, for example the red light station would have a designated DJ in his own booth with a red light by him. As for the music , there's so much selection. All the DJs had their style so you heard almost every type of music - from dancehall, EDM, top hits, classics, and Latin music! Also, you will find other people listening to the same station by the color of their headphones and they automatically bond with you! So if you're with your significant other, you can tune in to a romantic song and dance with each other or if you're single, you can find other people matching your station and dance along with them. I saw a couple of people changing their stations to try to flirt with people haha. Definitely worth going and the price is not bad at all! Sorry if I suck at explaining things haha! But seriously just go to an event, it was a lot of fun and a good change from the usual! read more

We had an amazing experience working with Quiet Events. It was quick and easy to get a quote and get all the information we needed. We worked with TJ who is a true professional--very responsive to any questions we had before and after purchasing equipment to rent. The sound quality of the headphones and transmitters was excellent--we opted to have 3 channels and each of them worked perfectly. I highly recommend Quiet Events to any group, personal or corporate. I tested out the headsets at my office and they were quite the hit! Thank you very much to TJ and the entire Quiet Events Team! read more

I have a great time at the beer Garden in Astoria. If you are a beer person and like to dance all night in a casual environment then this is the place for you. you have the power to keep switching to 3 different DJ, if you don't like what one DJ playing you can just change it so what not to like. the only con for me was that I'm short and when everyone is jumping to a song and I'm on a different DJ so I end up being hit with elbows but I can only blame my parents for that lol read more
