Cute little coffee shop with friendly service. There were a lot of boxes and other items around that had me assuming they were a new place and were just settling in. However, the barista said that they had been around for about 2 years, so I'm not sure what all the mess was about. They also had a very limited coffee selection, which I was not expecting for a coffee shop. The tables were full of people working on laptops, so it would be a good place if that's what you're looking to do. They also had lots of options for outdoor seating.

Great spot for a quiet time

What a sweet little coffee shop! This is a great fit for downtown Rockford. I LOVE the nature vibes with the back windows and the back patio overlooking the Rogue River. The latte and pastry I had were right on point, and the staff were pleasant and quick. There were a couple design choices that I would change, like trying to hide backup supplies and big fridges away from the main seating area, but overall it's a great little coffee shop.

Got to try this place for the first time yesterday. I am excited for an additional coffee shop in Rockford and especially in this beautiful space along the river. It's still really new, and while I appreciate a clean, minimalist vibe, it needs a bit more personality, maybe a few key art pieces or some plants. But I'm confident that will come. The service was fantastic. Lauren and Stephen were warm and kind and eager to help. Stephen recommended an orange cardamom latte after asking a few questions about what kind of coffee drinks I preferred. The latte was yum! The orange was super subtle and complemented the espresso and cardamom perfectly. It was great to see several folks trying it out. I'm excited to see how they grow into this space and into the community.

If you like coffee, stop into Quickwater. They roast their own beans (and sell them on their shelves). They have a full coffee menu, including specialty lattes like butter pecan and fall spices, which I ordered and enjoyed!

View of river from the walking path right outside of the coffee shop.

Great coffee spot for a specialty drink. They have fun syrups and the staff are very helpful. Beautiful outdoor seating area on the river!

This coffee shop had the best fall spice latte I have ever had! The customer service was very great, the barista even brought me my drink from where I was sitting. The vibes were very great! Perfect for studying or a date. The music was the perfect background of noise while also bringing a unique factor that make it stand out from other places. Also to factor in the location is perfect, it is right next to a river that is perfect to walk next to.

Very good prices considering how expensive getting a coffee has gotten. Pastries are flavorful and pair well with coffee. Their lattes are quite tasty, and it is all paired with a nice and clean atmosphere.

This review is solely on my experience and not the integrity of the bagel itself. I was fascinated when a colleague recommended this place in Rockford for breakfast and I had no idea what to expect when I pulled up to an old home. When I walked in, I was greeted with delicious coffee aromas being ground while people were buying pounds of fresh ground beans. I was confused about the ordering process, but friendly customers explained the procedure. First, you get in line and pick your drink and order a customizable bagel. I picked a sandwich because I was hungry, so I opted for a full on sandwich. I chose an onion bagel with house-made smoked and sliced roast beef, egg, pepper Jack cheese, horseradish sauce, onion, tomato, and lettuce. Yum! The bagels are homemade and on the smaller side so I was able to scarf down the whole sandwich whilst enjoying a large NOLA coffee brew. All of this came to under $10. A great value and interesting experience. After, ordering you can find a seat and they come find you to come back to the counter to pay. You only pay when your food is ready. Then its cafe seat yourself territory. They also have random items for sale and interesting curiosities hidden in the nooks and crannies of this space. Certainly worth a visit based on vibes and price point alone. the food did not disappoint. Smoked meats for the win!

Sprinkles Donut Shop - Rockford, Michigan A Sweet Stop That's Totally Worth It!…read more Sprinkles Donut Shop in Rockford, MI is a small, family-owned place that makes fresh, handmade donuts every day. It can be a little tricky to find -- my map sent me in circles and even through a gas station! The shop is tucked inside the same building as a Subway, but don't let that fool you. The donuts are amazing. When I walked in, everything was super clean, and the staff greeted everyone with big smiles. The donut selection is smaller than big chains, but every single donut looked fresh, neat, and delicious. I picked up a half‑dozen for under $10 (such a good deal! ) to share with my daughter... and maybe my son if he shows up. Here's what we got: * Apple Fritter - Crispy, full of apples, and covered in shiny glaze. So good. * Maple Cinnamon Roll - Soft, sweet, and one of the best I've ever had. The maple frosting is amazing! * Two Chocolate Cream Long Johns - Long, chocolatey, and filled with smooth cream. * Lemon Bismarck - Soft donut with bright, tangy lemon filling. Not too sweet! * Chocolate Bird's Nest - Chocolate frosting, colorful sprinkles, and a cute cream "nest." Fun AND tasty! The only downside is the distance -- if this place were closer to Cedar Springs, I'd be in trouble. (Seriously, a little popup case at the American Legion would be perfect for coffee runs! ) Bottom line: Sprinkles is fresh, friendly, affordable, and full of heart. Treat yourself to some donut happiness!

I found the restaurant to be incredibly warm which was a bit uncomfortable for me. Nothing was standing out to me, so I did settle on the big breakfast because I'm a fan of a little of everything and this way I didnt have to choose. It originally came without the bacon, but that was quickly remedied. The sourdough bread was good, their pancakes are a bit on the sweet side and not cakey (cakey is actually what I prefer), the eggs and meats were standard (sausage link was kind of like a brown n serve, bacon was on the crispy side if that's your jam.) but tasted good. I enjoyed the american fries. Only other small complaint is the syrup caraf was, even visibly, covered in syrup making it impossible to pick up without totally sticky hands. Could have used some wet naps. It was overall, a very slow experience and we didn't get out of there until 2:41. The service was friendly. The decor is cute and retro. I found the chairs to be comfortable.
