If I could give a 0 I would. Placed an order with Sticky Rice. Waited for my food patiently (not sticky rice's fault), about an hour and 20 Minutes went by. I received a phone call from the Quickness Guy telling me he had my food downstairs OUTSIDE of my building. I simply explained that I order delivery because I am not able to come outside of the building due to my job. He then told me that it was a new Policy put in place recently that says the Quickness drivers/bikers could no longer enter the business/home and leave their car/bike unattended. Now, mind you, I just ordered yesterday. My building gives quickness a lot of business, I give them a lot of business and have never encountered a problem. The guy then told me to ask Security if they could bring my food up!! WHAT??? I told him that is not their job description, and that would also still require you to enter the building which you said per policy, you could not. Securities job is to man the post, which is what they are doing. Not deliver food. That is your Job. On every delivery I order, I put the same note to have ID to present to Security and make your way to the 8th Floor via elevator. So the guy then tells me he would call his manager and ask and call me back. A few minutes later I get a call from Security downstairs, she tells me he does not have his ID and that he can not come up because he can not prove who he is (again, I put a note in every delivery to have ID, and why are you driving without your Drivers License?) So because I can not leave, I tell them to tell don't worry about it, by this time I am fuming. It took him almost 2 hours to deliver my food and he was driving not biking from sticky rice which is 2 1/2 miles away. So I then get on the phone with Sticky Rice, THEY ARE SO WONDERFUL, he was very apologetic and said let me get your name and number and I am going to call quickness and ask them about this "new rule" and I will call you back. A few minutes later he called me back, and said he spoke with someone and they said that was in fact, not a rule at all. That they were more than happy to remake my order and send it over via someone who has an ID and follows instructions. I said I really appreciate that and that was very nice of them. About another 30 Minutes goes by and Sticky Rice calls me back and says they feel absolutely horrible about my experience and offer to issue a refund...Again they were wonderful, that now no rider has shown up there to deliver my food and they feel so bad about this and want to make sure I am happy. Just then, a rider was pulling in. My advice, I hope no one gets this guy who thought it was okay to lie to me about a policy change when in truth, he couldn't follow directions and have his ID, and he should not be driving around anyway without it. I called Quickness to let them know the full story even though Sticky Rice had discussed this matter with them, they defended him and said he was new and did not know. No, he lied. If he were new he could have just said he did not have his ID and could not come up..which I would have still been upset about but to lie? That is not good business at all...New or Not. Quickness you disappointed me. read more
