Hate to give poor reviews but the older man who worked the register was very rude. It was clear he didn't want to be there. Didn't respond to my salutation and dropped 2 of my meals on the floor. I asked which ones they were to get replacements and he looked that them and said that because they are frozen they would be ok and placed them in the bag. For clean eatz if they read these. They never have the food that they say they do they miss label food they take your order and you pay for it but then when you come to pick it up it's wrong or they don't have the food or they sold it to someone else and this has happened over 50 times to me over a year and a half. This seemed too good to be true, and it was. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap with blue cheese sauce and a side of the healthy mac and cheese. The sandwich was very small and VERY dry. I had to peel off the wrap to find something moist in this sandwich, but it wasn't. The macaroni had zero cheese on it and was the healthier wheat version so that was terrible - had no taste at all. And dry. Gosh, people should not have to forfeit taste for eating healthy...the chef needs to figure this out. I doubt I will return. read more

Delicious healthy options. Staff is very polite and professional. I had a mocha protein coffee and it was fantastic. Frothy and full of protein - yeah! I also had the strawberry "fudge" protein bites. They were very filling, even just one of the four bites. Places to eat there and also fill my water bottle. Clean and bright space. Fairly fast getting food out, clean place, nice staff. It can be a done-in place if you need a quick lunch bite but this isn't a date spot. Tasty sandwiches, nothing too fancy overall. This is my first time at this location. I've eaten at this chain in Ohio before so I was looking forward to trying this one. However, I was a little disappointed that the menu was a little different (not their fault). So I settled on the CE Salad which is Chicken, romaine, goat cheese crumbles, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, banana peppers and roasted chickpeas with CE Grecian sauce. I do not like raw veggies so I took them all off and pretty much made it a salmon ceasar. However, the salad came out with barely any lettuce, huge globs of goat "spread" not cheese and a nice size piece of salmon. I was so disappointed in this $11 bowl. I tried to mixed the goat cheese in (it is not crumbles as the menu states) and almost regurgitated it when I ate a whole glob of it. I had high hopes but I'm not sure if I'll try anything else from the menu. However, I am curious about their meal prep meals so I may give them a try one day but for this visit, I was hoping for more. read more

As a busy teacher, Clean Eatz is a lifesaver for meal-planning healthy lunches. I've been using their meal plan option on and off for the past few months and overall am happy with the ease, cost, quality, and service I get at Clean Eatz. Every time I come in to pick up an order, everyone that works there is incredibly friendly so it never feels like too much of a chore! Also, you can get 10 meals for about $80. Like, what?! The prices feel too good to be true sometimes. The only reason I've deducted one star is that the food isn't always a hit. As I walked in the store, I saw a very tall employee smoking weed in car and when he came back into the cafe the whole place smelt like weed! I think I got a little high from it... made me really enjoy the food though. But if I was sober I would have NOT enjoyed the food... even dog food can taste good when you're high. read more

There's a new dining establishment in Short Pump--Clean Eatz. Just as the name implies, they offer meal choices for clean, healthy eating. Are you on a gluten free diet? Well, they have you covered for that too. There's seating inside if you want to eat in. You also have the option to take your meal to go. There are several meal choices from bowls to flatbreads and even dessert. They also have smoothies. If you prefer to leave the cooking to them, then you can purchase meals to go and heat them at home or work. There's something for everyone on the menu. read more

Arrived here 10 minutes before the restaurant closed, 2:50 on a Saturday when closing time is 3. The restaurant was already set up to close and empty. I asked for a smoothie and was turned down, saying the only thing available was frozen foods in the freezer. Very friendly staff, with lots of premade options. Food was missing something as I never got to the wow factor, but I'm willing to try a second freshly prepared dish before giving up completely. So this new place just popped up and Husband and I decided to try it. I ordered a Grecian wrap, which was pretty good. It has unidentified meat as part of it and lots of veggies. There was also a "Grecian sauce" that was tasteful. The way it was wrapped, all of the meat was on one side of the wrap and veggies on the other. You didn't get the entire taste together (unless you took a very, very big bite). So that technical error kept it in the "okay" zone. I asked for the "Vegetable of the Day" for a side. It was literally 4 grape tomatoes, a few broccoli florets and slice cucumbers. Raw. Flat out raw. No dressing, not blanched. Just raw. That was my side. Husband ordered a wrap. He never really said anything about it. He got the Chicken Pesto wrap. Not a lot of comments. For his side got the daily side which were roasted chick peas. The chick peas were still a bit soft in the middle and lacked any interesting seasoning at all. We both received some sort of fruit drink which was not good for me at all. It has very little flavor and some odd herb tastes in it. All of this would have been okay, honestly. Not the greatest food but certainly not bad. Except for one thing.... It cost nearly $50. Two wraps, two sorry sides, two medium drinks. $50. For what the food was, the cost was way too high and we just won't try it again. read more

We started ordering the meals for at home reheating a few weeks ago when our kitchen renovations began. I had browsed several online meal plans similar to this and even tovala, but was skeptical about shipped meals due to the slower shipping times on everything I've been experiencing. I also wanted to avoid excess packaging materials as that seems less than eco-friendly. I'm so glad I remembered this place was here. What a godsend! Meals are easy to reheat in a microwave and are fresh and tasty as well. I've been reusing the containers for my kids' school lunches and recycling as needed. Portion size is perfect for me. I add a side salad and it's a great, healthy meal when my kitchen is out of commission. Even my kids think they taste great and they are picky eaters. These meals have saved my sanity, waistline, and pocketbook during our renovation as we rarely go out to eat and the cost is comparable to making it at home. Great program! read more

Stopped by the spot in Fredericksburg. They were super friendly. Got the hammerhead wrap for me and the hubby. Highly recommend! It's a whole wheat wrap with grilled salmon on spinach, guacamole and a light sauce (think it's a lime sauce). It was such a light and filling lunch. I was so full I didn't even eat much of the side. I would only say that I would have liked a slice of avacado instead of the guacamole. Husband loved the potato fries. I got the chickpeas as a side. They were a good snack later but I could take them or leave them honestly. They didn't have any flavor. I still highly recommend this place for a quick, flavorful, and clean bite to eat!! read more

Clean Eatz is fantastic. The grab and go meals and meal plans make it extremely convenient and easy to stay on track with your fitness goals! My favorite thing to do when picking up my meal plan or grab and go meals from the freezer is to order a Buffalo chicken wrap and sweet potato fries from the cafe while I pick out my meals. The freezer is always stocked with great options and the menu is always changing. The staff is also extremely helpful and friendly. I love being on a first name basis with Victoria who always provides excellent service and conversation! Today my husband went to go pick up our meals no one was masked not even the cooks! I am not sure what their protocol is but it seems very unsanitary to have all of your employees unmasked. Wanted to love It but for $40+ for two create your own bowls and 2 smoothies It seemed over priced for the quality. It also made both me and my boyfriend sick, I am currently typing this from a random gas station parking lot where we had to make an emergency stop to go to the bathroom/get sick.
