THE taco spot to hit in Inglewood…read more Mentioned all over Eater and Reddit, we stopped by after a Rams game. We have a high bar of tacos from our SD trip, but this place is easy 9/10. Known for their tortilla which is super thin and toasty, it just melted and mended so well with the asada. Their pastor is (in my opinion) better than Leo's tacos. It's not salty and overly spiced. It has a rich umami that almost has a hint of lamb. Delicious. Staff is the best. Helped us out with everything. Gave us free samples for us to try before we ordered. Stacey is her name. She was hyper professional and super welcoming. Made our experience even better. We'll be back whenever we're in town for a concert, game, or when we're near LAX.

It wasn't too busy when my husband and I went, and honestly it was one of those days where we couldn't decide what to eat and were tired of the usual fast food options. I'm so glad we ended up here. The carne con chile and chorizo con papa were both delicious. My husband ordered a plate with a little bit of everything, and wow, it was amazing. This is a great spot when you want something flavorful and satisfying instead of the usual fast food junk. We'll definitely be coming back.

There was enough lettuce to start a small salad bar, but somehow almost no cheese. Last time I checked, cheese was kind of the star of the show. The carne asada was fine, but when you're digging through a mountain of lettuce looking for the cheese, something has gone terribly wrong. Calling this a quesadilla felt a little optimistic. Unfortunately, it sucked.

They come with cheese, beans, sour cream, guacamole, and chips. These are amazing and there has not been a time where we have not finished them whenever we ordered them. Also, the fries are good and contain similar ingredients. I ate carne asada fries after parties back in the day and these truly bring back fond memories of the past. The tacos and burritos are also good. The former has salsa, onions and cilantro while the latter has the same ingredients in addition to beans. I think they are good no matter what meat you choose to include. I have also even added shrimp to an asada burrito, which is probably my favorite burrito combination. I also love the horchata here and the efficient system they have for getting your order out in a very timely manner!

Absolutely Terrible Drive-Thru Experience…read more Went through the drive-thru last night and somehow managed to have one problem after another. First, when I pulled up to order, the girl asked if I was ready. I said I needed a minute, and literally 15 seconds later I said I was ready. She asked, "what do you want?" I started ordering and she immediately cut me off and said, "Hold on," then started taking my order. I ordered a large Pepsi. She said, "Large coffee?" I said, "No, Pepsi." She then said, "I don't know what that is." I explained that I meant a soda, like Coke. She said, "We don't have Coke, only Pepsi." At this point I'm thinking, Are we seriously struggling with the word Pepsi? I repeated, "Yes, a large Pepsi." Then I got to the window. She asked if I wanted salsa or vegetables. I said yes, extra red salsa and extra carrots. I had ordered SIX tacos and a burrito, so I expected a reasonable amount of salsa. Instead, I was handed two tiny containers of salsa. I had already driven away from the window before checking my order, so I parked and went inside. The SAME girl from the drive-thru saw me and asked what I needed. I explained that I had asked for extra salsa and only received two. I even spoke to her in both English and Spanish because apparently neither was getting through. She walked about three feet away and told a coworker that she didn't know what I was talking about. He came over and asked what I needed. I said, "Salsa, please." He then asked the cook for salsa, and he said they were out of salsa and only had "cumbias." Then they all laughed. Seriously? Not one person apologized. Not one person seemed concerned that I had just had an awful experience. The entire interaction was incredibly unprofessional and dismissive. Your logo says: "Come for the tacos. Stay for the experience. Come back because nothing else compares." Well, I came for the tacos, left because of the experience, and definitely won't be coming back -- because I can get better tacos from a taco stand without having to deal with this level of incompetence. The tacos aren't good enough to make up for terrible customer service. Train your employees to listen, communicate, and treat customers with basic respect. Después empezó a tomar mi orden. Me dijo: "No tenemos Coca, solamente Pepsi." Me preguntó si quería salsa o verduras.

I got home to find two giant pieces of lightly fried fish atop tortillas, and basically a full (almost ripe) avocado sliced in half, not cut up. All the other fixin's were on the side so you assemble everything yourself (cabbage, pico, chipotle sauce). Once everything was assembled, which took a while thanks to the tough avocado, I was hugely let down. Despite the large quantity of food, the quality was just not there. The fish was flaky and not overly fried, but it tasted like the ocean, not in a good way. SO so so much salt, yuck. Also disappointed by the sides. The black beans were quite runny, more liquid than beans, and the rice had a bunch of random veggies in there that took away from the dish. I'm sure there are many good things on the menu, but their fish taco meal just ain't it, sadly.
