Came here for the Ilocos Empanada. This was a decent snack paired well with a spicy vinegar sauce. Kat was nice and informative. She gave distinct instructions on how to air-fry this deep-fried Filipino street food. 400F for 6-7 minutes. Not much to say about the ambiance. Straightforward for a Quickly franchisee with unbussed tables which I believe were being used by the crew. We smelled of deep fryer stench as we exited the place. Quickly in the Rocklin location serves up Filipino food as weekend specials. It's located in the Dollar Tree plaza near the Save Mart plaza on Stanford Ranch Rd. Be on the lookout for the viral Ilocos Empanada. It sold out by 11:30 am on Saturday, 3/21/26. It should be available next Saturday, 3/28/26. To pre-order, message Kat Blanco on Facebook. The Ilocos Empanada has an orange wrapper. It contains an egg, pork, mung beans, and papaya. Pop music playing, which was inviting. Floor wasn't the cleanest at 9:30 am the first time I visited. Dining room looked good with clean tables at 3 pm during my 2nd visit. 2 restrooms for customers. I've tried these menu items: Arroz Caldo: A savory Filipino rice porridge with pork and green onions. Comfort food. The illustration in the weekend ad showed egg halves, but there were none. Beef Pares: Filipino beef brisket stew served with garlic rice. No veggies inside, just green onions. Soup is seasoned with soy sauce and star anise. Salty. Not the most tender meat, and some pieces have fat. Pork Empanada: The handheld meat pocket is easy to hold and yummy to eat. Chicken is also an available meat choice. I wish there were a dipping sauce or consomé. Cafe Mocha: It tasted more like hot cocoa than coffee. Boba and weekend Filipino bites [Rocklin CA] Apparently this boba shop in Rocklin has been around for three years and I had just recently found out about it when Yelper, Belinda C, sent me an ad from Facebook. This location serves Filipino comfort food on weekends! I was excited to know this! Today I went to check out the offerings: pancit molo, arroz caldo, tokwa't baboy and six various items of silogs. I chose Tapsilog which is TAPa [meat], SInangag [garlic fried rice], itLOG [fried egg] = TAPSILOG. I had to explain this to Belinda on how the name originated. Btw, it was delicious! The meat was tender and flavorful and already cut in bite size pieces so I did not need a knife. Met the friendly owners. You sincerely feel the welcome of the Filipino hospitality. Quickly is one of my go-to spots! I got their milk tea with boba and it was so good--perfectly sweet and super refreshing, with soft and chewy boba. I also tried the popcorn chicken and it was delicious--crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Such a great combo! Definitely coming back again. read more

Stopped by yesterday. The milk tea is so good! I took a few sips and even remarked to my husband that the milk tea is so good and reminds me of Taiwan. Had the Thai Tea the next day and it was still very flavorful. Their boba was made to perfection yesterday too. Perfect chewiness. Just an all around excellent experience. We've always like going to Quickly. We used to go to the one in the Galleria Mall a lot. Now, we go to this location in Rocklin, especially before or after playing in the park. They have a great selection of flavors/drinks. They also serve silogs and lumpia. They also have sylvanas in different flavors. It's kind of small than what I am used to but the flavor is good. This is very hard to find here in the States and too lazy to make it. Anyway...their staff is nice and very accomodating to our adjustments on drinks. The place is clean and quiet. Went to Quickly in Rocklin on Saturday and we got Tokwat Baboy, Arroz Caldo, Pancit Molo, Tapsilog, and Lumpia. It was all spectacular! Very friendly staff and very clean location. What a hidden gem! We will be back often! I will be sure to take pictures next time. read more

Friendly staff! I love how they have some Filipino cuisines. As far as the drinks, they were okay! The taro was more powdery than I'm use to and the purple color was more like a beige pink. I'm adamant to make this review because they might get too popular, crowded and less enjoyable lol... Because of the food, amazing experience and the above and beyond service we've gotten - I feel I owe to write this rave to them. Our kitchen is under construction so I've been trying all the Filipino food places around the area. I was so surprised when Quickly came up on the search. We had their egg and rice plates with longganisa (Filipino sausage), lechon belly and spam for the kid. In the Philippines, we call this "silog". Everything we ordered surprised me. Their lechon belly had crispy skin but soft meat. The Longganisa was delish. The servings were generous and the eggs were made perfect. The fried rice were cooked simple, reminiscent of home - just with soy sauce garlic. In short - no frills and everything hit the spot. We asked for extra eggs and even though the cost wasn't posted - they didn't overcharge. Actually, she offered to comp and I said no lol. It's just such a refreshing experience from a Filipino place. The Boba drinks were so enjoyable and perfect - not too sweet! We had planned to eat at the patio so we brought our well behaved dog. But it turned too hot outside and the owner agreed to let him in, since it wasn't too busy. Our heart melted. The lady at the register also had us try Dubai chocolate and it was amazing. Really sweet girl at the counter but sadly the praises stop there. Taro milk tea with Boba and a Thai milk tea with rainbow jelly was ordered, neither drink tasted right and the boba was stale. Took a long time to get our drinks and the place was empty. Too many poopoos for a first time visit, will try tea house across the street next time. Shame too because we're in the area now four days a week. read more

Unfortunately (my bad), just missed the weekday cut-off which is 6:25PM for most food items (in-store and DoorDash) that require the fryer, as they close at 7pm. However, I was able to try a large Hokkaido (Caramel) milk tea with coffee jelly, and a Green Tea flavored egg puff though. The two staff were very sweet and apologetic, and one of the egg puffs was a little overdone at first but they remade it right away. The location is not too small, was decorated for the holidays and was very clean. I really wanted to try the lechon kawali (crispy pork belly) rice bowl so bad! It's still on my list/bookmark and I hope to come back again to go for more of the Filipino dishes on the menu that you can't usually get at a Quickly, or most other boba shops for that matter. read more

It was nice that a Quickly location finally opened up close to home. Being a transplant from the Bay Area, it was one of the places that I missed going to for a yummy drink or snack. The new Quickly is located in the previous Starbuck's location. It's nice, airy, modern, and clean. Once we entered the store, we were quickly greeted by the friendly staff. After perusing the menu, I decided on getting a peach slush for now and a strawberry milk tea for later. The peach slush was so refreshing and perfectly sweet but not overly sweet because I asked for half of the sweetness. I can also say that the strawberry milk tea that I had later on in the day was also perfectly tasty without any tastebud complaints. While ordering, I had a chance to talk to Christina, the owner. She and her family are transplants from the Bay Area so we had so much to talk about. She gave us the background of why she moved up here and how she came about getting this location. She was an enthusiastic owner and I could tell that she genuinely cares about her business and also her customers. It's nice to meet business owners who care for more than just profit but really wants to take care of her customers and provide a superior product. Christina said that they will expand the food menu in the near future and put her own spin on the menu. I can't wait to see what she has in store. If you are in the area and want a yummy flavored tea, milk tea, snow, or slush, you won't be disappointed. The prices are reasonable and the staff are very friendly. My five-year old wanted boba after school so I agreed to get him a purple boba. That would be taro flavor. We know he likes coconut, but he was insistent on trying purple. That's what he got. After a few sips he decided he didn't like. As I predicted. So, I got to finish it. Taro isn't my favourite, but it was actually pretty good. The service was great. 4/5/24: Update: Customer Service 5*+ Elena is Amazing! Last night I accidentally left my bag with my wallet, keys, Epipen, etc. By the time I realized it, they were closed. Called this morning and Elena confirmed they had it. Came back today to pick it up, and since I enjoyed my drink and food yesterday, I ordered the Taro Milk Tea Boba, Lumpia, and Sesame Balls and again they were delicious! Came here for the 1st time with a friend before a movie. We came in somewhat after 6:30pm so we weren't able to try the food menu except the egg puffs. Food orders need to be placed before 6:30pm but, the employees were apologetic and provided great service. They were awesome. We got to try the egg puffs. I had the taro egg puff and it was warm, yummy, and filling. One of the employees insisted on remaking one of the egg puffs because she felt it was on the browner side...again great customer service. For a drink I had the hazelnut milk tea and added brown sugar jelly. It was so good and actually not too sweet, at least for my taste. The fact that they have so many food or snack options along with many drink options is what makes this spot stand out from other boba businesses. I can't wait to return and to try the food. I brought my kids to here to get some boba and fried pork belly. Service was friendly and "quick". The boba tasted really good. Now, for the best part. The Pork Belly was piping hot and crispy. Not too salty. Man, I've tried so many Lechon Kawali and this is right up there. I'll have lunch with my sister there tomorrow. The only con was that the place felt too dark with all the window shades down. I wish they had nice music playing in the background too. Maybe some board games or arcades? In an empty store except for employees, a powerful odor of fried foods filled the space. This store, which used to be a Starbucks, kept the layout generally the same, but it didn't feel as inviting or like a place you'd want to sit for a while. It is possible this is due to the shades being drawn, which blocked out most of the natural light. My order was taken and completed quickly, as the name suggests, but the boba, which can be too hard, was actually too soft to be enjoyable. It's possible that the product quality is just off today, but I was ultimately disappointed. read more

LOVE that this is a Filipino owned business. I frequent the area so I had to support. I love my boba and I absolutely love cheese foam. It takes about 5 minutes to make the cold foam which is probably the only CON for me. I'm hoping they can find alternatives to pre make the cold foam so it's ready to go.
