This time, I got the wintermelon milk tea (less sugar & less ice) with tapioca pearls, and even though I don't normally get the pearls, Cuckoo's are pretty solid! They're chewy and slightly sweet, which is perfect. Today, I got the fries (spicy), and they were savory and salty with a bit of spice to them. In my opinion, they could've cooked them a JUST A LITTLE BIT longer because it somewhat has that very, very slight undercooked potato texture fries can have, but it won't be very noticeable to someone who isn't psychotic like me about fries. I've been to this location a couple of times, and the workers working there have always been really sweet to me. I have never had issues with bad service or anything like that. Another nit-picky complaint I do have is that if you come with a group to study, the stone tables are not for you if you are short. I love that there is plenty of seating with outlets, but studying with a group of friends at the booths does hurt my arms as they are set up a bit too high and a bit too far for my arms to rest comfortably. They do have high chairs to sit on, but I believe they're good if you're there by yourself.

What really caught my eye was the cheese coin because everyone has been talking about it. I ordered one of everything on the menu (blueberry croffle, shrimp toast, cheese coin, and potato twist). I enjoyed everything I had, especially the cheese coin with all that cheesy goodness and the breading had the perfect balance of savory and sweet. I did feel the shrimp toast was subtle in flavor. The owners there are really nice and asked me for some feedback on their new menu. I shared my thoughts and they received it well. I really appreciate when businesses prioritize feedback and want to improve. I think it really goes a long way with customers and it makes me want to continue supporting them even when I don't love everything. This Ding Tea location is on the smaller side but they still have a decent amount of seating, free wifi, and I like the decorations they do for the seasonal holidays. It's like a skewer on the side of your main dish. You can eat them separately and be happy enough. I was ok with the bulgogi, but I would've expected better from a Korean establishment. I haven't tried every single protein option, but I won't lie, tofu in pasta isn't the most appealing to me. For the main dishes, it was pretty bland, especially the omurice. You need the egg and the protein for flavor. The Schezwan pasta wasn't even spicy. At least the carbonara was creamy as it should be.
