So there is a sign on the door saying they are only open for pickup orders and indoors is closed. I came a few days ago and workers were in there with the door locked. This place is beyond indecent and the workers are the worst by far I have ever come across. Always rude, always an attitude never pleasant. I would come here every single day if I could. There's not one thing that I've ordered that wasn't amazing. I particularly like the quesadillas and the jerk chicken wrap. My fav smoothie is the açaí or the island green. If you're going for breakfast you can get discounted smoothies and a southwest wrap (spinach, egg, cheese and chipotle mayo) for under $7!! The only reason I didn't give them five stars, is that service is notoriously slow. Even when I order online prior to coming it's still takes a while for my food to come out. I have lived in the area for a while and dealt with a lot of the previous staff who simply didn't care. I went in today and was surprised to see new staff and a warm welcome when I came in. I overheard the new staff telling another customer that they are under new management. This place sucks! That's unfortunate because I really like the food but this is the last time I will come back. The same thing every time! It takes a second to acknowledge customers and sort orders. I've worked in retail for years. These employees spend more time avoiding eye contact with you and moving slowly than actually making sure the orders are given to the correct customer. No labels on online orders. Or a label on part of your order but the entire order is not placed together. I watched 3 people walk up and touch my order because it wasn't labeled. When I finally figured out which order was mine it was melted and my food was cold! All preventable problems if the workers just took one extra sec to organize people's order. They just don't care! Let me start by saying I respect the fact that everyone has varying views about wearing masks. However, until state mandates change, when doing food prep there isn't an option; it is what it is. During my visit today a worker making smoothies not only had her mask below her nose but it was so extremely loose you could see her mouth and could visibly see her talking. I respectfully asked if she could tighten her mask and was looked at as if I had three heads. No modification was made. I then requested that another employee, who was making smoothies as well, assist me. To add insult to injury I had 3 smoothies, one fell out of the carrier. An employee was kind enough to offer to remake me one - but upon looking at it - it was inedible as the photos below will show. Not the typical consistency nor taste of a smoothie. Experience was from 9/11/2020 Every time I come here it's a hot freaking mess. So this time I tried ordering through the app so that my food will be ready by the time they tell me it's ready to be picked up, but sure enough I sit for 20 extra minutes, then I call to make sure they can see I choose CURB SIDE PICK UP and not just a mobile order where I have to walk in. Then they to only bring out my smoothies! I ordered meals, and then girl tried to tell me I said it was only smoothies. ONE I didn't not EVER say that. TWO they should know my order!!! So here I am 30 minutes after my estimated time of when they should've had my order completed and still no food! What is going on here? Why is it always soooo much trouble to come here and get food in a timely fashion?! Especially if I order through the app! Hopefully the food and smoothies are worth the wait today, because I'm very disappointed in the service YET AGAIN.
