Their personalities were Kind, caring and pleasant. The Dr. I saw was super pleasant, and very helpful, no complaints. With that out the way, wait time was a total bummer, but I guess it was one Dr. Working. Overall my experience was good.

After the visit was completed, I was then told I owed a co-pay, which felt very misleading and put me in an uncomfortable position. Patients deserve transparency about costs upfront so they can make informed decisions before being seen. Not disclosing fees beforehand feels deceptive and unprofessional. I would recommend that future patients ask about all costs before receiving care.

The most concerning part of the visit was the conduct of the front office nurse. Rather than showing empathy or focusing on patient care, the conversation immediately centered around how expensive the visit would be and what it could potentially cost. While patients should be informed about costs, the manner in which this was communicated felt inappropriate, alarming, and unprofessional, especially when someone was seeking care for severe pain. What made the situation even more troubling was that we were given information about what treatment and testing would supposedly be needed before any clinical evaluation had taken place. Later, we received completely different information from the provider, leaving us feeling confused and misled. The lack of consistency and professionalism in communication was unacceptable. When people come to an emergency room in the early hours (5am) of the morning, they are often scared, uncomfortable, and looking for help. Instead of feeling supported, we felt dismissed, judged, and pressured. The overall experience demonstrated a concerning lack of compassion, poor communication, and questionable judgment from the front office staff. I hope management reviews how patients are being treated at the front desk and ensures staff are held to a higher standard of professionalism, ethics, and patient care.

I had a minor skin irritation a few months ago, and I trust Dr. Chimanji's diagnostic ability enough that I drove some distance to see him. Sure enough, he immediately diagnosed the issue as being due to a change in the formulation of my laundry detergent. He suggested I try a new laundry detergent, and that fixed the skin irritation issue. Most impressive is that he did all this without an array of tests. He simply did a proper examination, asked me some questions, and came up with the diagnosis and solution.

OK. Some doctors dont accept insurance and my deductible is high anyway so... I paid by CC - $175. A couple weeks after my visit I receive a bill via mail stating I have not paid and must pay $175. I went in person to the doctor's office and indicated that I had already paid and showed the receipt he gave me. He acknowledged I already paid and said he would talk to the billing department. Should be done right? Now, weeks later, i receive another notice that I have not paid and need to pay. I am not paying you twice dude. It doesn't work that way. I want to point out too that the address on the letter I received with the medical bill is hand written. Draw your own conclusions.

Extremely Disappointed in Outdated Payment Policy and Poor Customer Service…read more I went to this urgent care seeking help but was denied service because I didn't have a physical card to pay a $15 co-pay--even though I offered to use my digital wallet, which is a widely accepted, secure, and modern form of payment. We live in a digital world where tap pay, Apple Pay, and mobile payments are standard, especially for small transactions like this. The two Spanish ladies at the front desk were not helpful at all. Instead of offering a solution or showing empathy, they asked rhetorical questions and seemed more focused on enforcing an outdated policy than assisting a patient in need of care. This experience was frustrating and disheartening. No one should be turned away from an urgent care center over something so minor, especially when the technology to process the payment is right there. If this facility wants to keep up with modern standards and actually serve its community, it needs to update its payment systems and retrain staff on customer service and compassion. Turning away patients over digital payments is unacceptable in 2025.
