    Great experience! I was sick with a sinus infection and I was in and out in 20 min. The staff was super friendly. So glad I found this place

When I was first hired, I was told…read morerepeatedly that they were growing so fast and would be providing new vehicles and equipment (along with many other absolute necessities) very soon. This was an ongoing false promise that was never met. I referred to the vehicle they provided for us as the "death trap". The vehicle was falling apart, unregistered, had 200,000+ miles, doors wouldn't completely shut, no working horn, tires were bad, etc. When I would ask to fix something, they would argue about the cost and then tell me the owner would take care of it later. He never did. They would expect one car and machine to be shared with three people who all lived on completely opposite sides of town. Told us to "figure it out". Forced techs to stay in a rundown motel in another city because they didn't have anyone else to complete the work there. Their job would be on the line if they refused. They failed to issue dosimeters to monitor our radiation intake or a lead thyroid shield for our protection when assisting patients. My original schedule was Monday - Friday from 3pm-11pm and then I was forced to take overnight call from 11pm-7am. Many nights working into the night until 2-3am and then getting called right back at 4am, with no appreciation or overtime pay. They did everything they could to make sure we weren't paid a cent over our standard 40 hours, although they had us on call for more than 40 additional hours on top of our normal shifts. There were many weeks where we didn't get our pay checks on time, because there was "an issue with the owner and funds". The entire company had a turnover a few months back. Without warning, the VP of operations and all management just quit and left everything a mess. New management came in and we lost almost all accounts we had in Houston. I was told that the owner had no money to buy new vehicles and that he was still trying to find someone else to invest. Invest in what? A terribly run company that doesn't care about anyone but themselves. This is, by far, the most unorganized and poorly run company I have ever come across. I hung in there as long as I could with the hopes that something would turn around, but they are going down fast. Which is honestly what they deserve with the way they treat people. I could keep going, but I think I've made my point. I believe in karma, and I believe they will get what they deserve. Stay away from Genesis.

    This place is awesome!!!…read more Ok it's a doctor's office so let me tone down the excitement of the place. THE LOCATION Frisco... Off Main St. & 423. Pretty much in between a Circle K and a Sonic burger place on the southwest corner. PARKING Adequate parking in the front. THE PLACE Nice waiting room. The young lady working the front desk was wiping down pens and the front counter. They're all about sanitation over there. THE STAFF Friendly. Even the doctor. No ego or god-complex with him (I'm speaking on MY experience with the doctor on duty that day). The doctor was very patient, very knowledgeable... and answered all my questions. He knew what he was doing. WHAT TO EXPECT Quick tip... Check in online. Fill out all the forms and you'll be contacted when they are ready for you. THEN you can make your way to the location. Don't do the check-in in the parking lot OR expect to just walk in (unannounced) and be seen. If it looks like they're pretty booked, they'll call you to see if you want to be transferred to another office location. You'll go in (when they're ready for you), they'll take care of whatever copays or payments you need to pay. You may have to fill out a COVID form ("Were you out of the country?", etc). You're seated for about five minutes and you're called in. You're weighed, they take your pulse and blood pressure, as you a few questions and the doctor comes in to see you. Pretty straight forward. In and out. OVERALL They're on top of their game. I highly recommend this place if it's the weekend, you can't get your regular doctor, or it's not a true emergency.

We woke up to a charge on our…read morecredit card at 4:23 am for $25.00 today on Jan. 6, 2026, and the last time we were there with the most awful service was December 19th at 2pm. They are not open to charge our card and this is absolutely absurd. Absolutely crooks. My husband and I arrived at Care Now Urgent Care on December 19 at approximately 2:15 PM. We checked in at the kiosk, completed all required paperwork on our phones, uploaded insurance information and IDs, and received multiple confirmation messages. We were assigned number 7 in line, with an estimated time to be seen around 3:17 PM. Shortly before that time, the front desk informed us that we were not checked in, despite the electronic confirmations. We were then manually checked in, and our wait time was reset and extended by approximately one additional hour. During this period, we also began receiving post-visit surveys, even though we had not yet been seen. While waiting, we observed several front desk interactions that were concerning. A receptionist laughed at an upset female patient and publicly stated the reason for her visit ("drug test") in the waiting area. Another family experienced repeated delays because intake paperwork was sent to an incorrect phone number, despite the issue being communicated multiple times. We also observed inconsistent patient call-back order. A White male patient was escorted to the back shortly after arrival, while a Hispanic male patient who appeared visibly ill and experiencing difficulty breathing waited significantly longer without progress. Additionally, we were initially informed that we owed a $40 specialist copay instead of the $25 urgent care/primary care copay listed on our insurance, which required clarification and added to the confusion. Although we were eventually seen, the total time from arrival to completion extended over several hours, far beyond what was communicated or reasonable. I have over 20 years of experience working in healthcare, and the front desk operations during this visit reflected poor communication, ineffective intake management, and a lack of professionalism. This experience was disappointing and warrants attention from management. If you don't like a certain race of people at least know your job!

    Extremely Disappointed in Outdated Payment Policy and Poor Customer Service…read more I went to this urgent care seeking help but was denied service because I didn't have a physical card to pay a $15 co-pay--even though I offered to use my digital wallet, which is a widely accepted, secure, and modern form of payment. We live in a digital world where tap pay, Apple Pay, and mobile payments are standard, especially for small transactions like this. The two Spanish ladies at the front desk were not helpful at all. Instead of offering a solution or showing empathy, they asked rhetorical questions and seemed more focused on enforcing an outdated policy than assisting a patient in need of care. This experience was frustrating and disheartening. No one should be turned away from an urgent care center over something so minor, especially when the technology to process the payment is right there. If this facility wants to keep up with modern standards and actually serve its community, it needs to update its payment systems and retrain staff on customer service and compassion. Turning away patients over digital payments is unacceptable in 2025.
