This place is awesome!!! Ok it's a doctor's office so let me tone down the excitement of the place. THE LOCATION Frisco... Off Main St. & 423. Pretty much in between a Circle K and a Sonic burger place on the southwest corner. PARKING Adequate parking in the front. THE PLACE Nice waiting room. The young lady working the front desk was wiping down pens and the front counter. They're all about sanitation over there. THE STAFF Friendly. Even the doctor. No ego or god-complex with him (I'm speaking on MY experience with the doctor on duty that day). The doctor was very patient, very knowledgeable... and answered all my questions. He knew what he was doing. WHAT TO EXPECT Quick tip... Check in online. Fill out all the forms and you'll be contacted when they are ready for you. THEN you can make your way to the location. Don't do the check-in in the parking lot OR expect to just walk in (unannounced) and be seen. If it looks like they're pretty booked, they'll call you to see if you want to be transferred to another office location. You'll go in (when they're ready for you), they'll take care of whatever copays or payments you need to pay. You may have to fill out a COVID form ("Were you out of the country?", etc). You're seated for about five minutes and you're called in. You're weighed, they take your pulse and blood pressure, as you a few questions and the doctor comes in to see you. Pretty straight forward. In and out. OVERALL They're on top of their game. I highly recommend this place if it's the weekend, you can't get your regular doctor, or it's not a true emergency. read more

The most ridiculous place that has ever opened in the United States! We woke up to a charge on our credit card at 4:23 am for $25.00 today on Jan. 6, 2026, and the last time we were there with the most awful service was December 19th at 2pm. They are not open to charge our card and this is absolutely absurd. Absolutely crooks. My husband and I arrived at Care Now Urgent Care on December 19 at approximately 2:15 PM. We checked in at the kiosk, completed all required paperwork on our phones, uploaded insurance information and IDs, and received multiple confirmation messages. We were assigned number 7 in line, with an estimated time to be seen around 3:17 PM. Shortly before that time, the front desk informed us that we were not checked in, despite the electronic confirmations. We were then manually checked in, and our wait time was reset and extended by approximately one additional hour. During this period, we also began receiving post-visit surveys, even though we had not yet been seen. While waiting, we observed several front desk interactions that were concerning. A receptionist laughed at an upset female patient and publicly stated the reason for her visit ("drug test") in the waiting area. Another family experienced repeated delays because intake paperwork was sent to an incorrect phone number, despite the issue being communicated multiple times. We also observed inconsistent patient call-back order. A White male patient was escorted to the back shortly after arrival, while a Hispanic male patient who appeared visibly ill and experiencing difficulty breathing waited significantly longer without progress. Additionally, we were initially informed that we owed a $40 specialist copay instead of the $25 urgent care/primary care copay listed on our insurance, which required clarification and added to the confusion. Although we were eventually seen, the total time from arrival to completion extended over several hours, far beyond what was communicated or reasonable. I have over 20 years of experience working in healthcare, and the front desk operations during this visit reflected poor communication, ineffective intake management, and a lack of professionalism. I came to this facility today and there was not one patient waiting in the reception so my experience with check in was fast. The nurse and doctor I saw were pleasant and efficient, however I was surprised that since I came in for a UTI infection and was asked to give a urine sample that the bathroom I was ushered into had no sink in which to wash my hands. This is very surprising for a medical facility which you would think would prioritize cleanliness and germ containment. I had light dizziness and wanted to have a quick check. Since this facility is closer to my home I thought of going here. The lady at the front desk was not at all welcoming. Her behavior was as if she didn't want to see or talk to anyone. I was looking for a reason to get out of there and go somewhere else. Luckily their payment machine failed to read my card and since they don't accept touch less payments I thanked god and walked out. I will never visit this place again. read more

When you move across town and suddenly need a doctor I always choose some type of urgent care typa place... yes I said typa place. Occasionally I try to be cool and use a slang word... I think it's a slang word.. hmm not real sure. Anyway. Place was pretty big inside and only had a few people inside. Very clean and they require masks as it is a place they test and give vaccines for Covid. I did not have an appointment and they said h had to do it online, however they told me they were booked for the day. I kinda pouted and asked if they knew any other place nearby because I just moved over here and don't know the area. After giving me the name of a few places she asked me what I was there for... I told her... no I'm not telling y'all. That part is private. Long story short. She said she'd get me in and had me a an this code and fill it out online. I only had to wait maybe 5-10 minutes and I was in. From the front desk to the Nurse Practitioner whom I saw, even 2 other nurses I spoke with. All were helpful and nice, I even got a laugh out of one of them. (I love to make people laugh in quiet places) The lady up front asked for insurance, which I have but just got with new job and did not have a card. She said even if I had a picture she'd take it (I did not) So she said if I needed a detailed receipt I'd have to come back in 2-3 days but I can file that with my insurance to get most of my money back. Which I knew but she was helpful. Wish I knew all their names. Just know they were all great. Hopefully I don't need to come back and I'll have my insurance card next time as it's not cheap on self pay but I'd recommend them for sure. read more

During the check in process, the young lady was abrupt and not very inviting. She asked me for my $50.00 co-pay and I asked her if she was sure (I thought it was $25.00). Her response, "you can so somewhere else if you'd like". After paying, I began filling out pages of information and having my visit with the Doc, I left and headed to the pharmacy. Well, they sent the prescription to CVS 30 minutes from my home. I called several times, finally got a voice at 11:44 and she said she would have the Doctor call it in to Walmart in Crossroads and then hung up on me. A few times this afternoon, I've called the clinic to check on the prescription being redirected since Walmart showed no record of receiving it. The phone gets picked up and immediately put on hold. As of 4:00, Walmart doesn't have it, and I can't get a 'voice' at the clinic. Questions; Why do we fill out pages of paperwork in your offices and explicitly list our pharmacy when your folks ignore it? Are we filling out forms just to kill time or something? Realizing finding good help is hard in this economy but there has to be someone that will pick up a phone call and enter information from all your dang forms.........right? Tried to send this message to Carenow Corporate on their 'submit feedback' page. Times out ..... gets stuck 'submitting'. read more

Dr. Ajala examined my injuries during my visit and shows poor clinical judgement and skills. She did not seem to be considerate and advocate patient needs but rather defensive and argumentative when her poor examination was questioned. She blames the setting of "urgent care" and her poor expertise comes at the cost of patients well being. read more

If you need to get lab tests -- GO SOMEWHERE ELSE So I was sent here for a pre-employment drug screening. I used their online scheduler to set up a noon arrival. The system sends you a text message when they are ready for you. The text came at 12:29, I got there around 12:45 and waited behind one person. I handed the order sheet to the person at the front desk and they told me that there is no lab tech at the facility until after 2:30. THIS LITTLE TIDBIT IS NO WHERE IN EVIDENCE ON THEIR WEBSITE. I leave, thinking I can return around 2:30, give them what they need for a drug screen and leave. WRONG! I don't get a text to come back until 3:19. I'm in the middle of something so I don't get there until 4:15. An hour later I'm still waiting. First, let's remember what I'm here for - to pee in a cup. I've been holding it since noon and now it's well past 5:00pm. Does anybody here value their customer's time? Second, I'm told that there are other tests ahead of me. That's fine, but every other place I've been to manages to process multiple people at the same time. Here's your cup, there's a restroom, please leave it in the door in the wall. This place did what a Pediatrics office and CVS Minute Clinic could not - got my son's 2 vaccines updated! He is a 13 year old with autism and INCREDIBLY strong. No one else had the patience to talk him through the process and help hold him, but once they got started, he made it through and shouted, "I did it!" I am one relieved mom as we had almost given up on finding someone who could get this done even when giving him premedication to calm him. Awful place, candy was the rudest nurse we have ever dealt with, we needed a covid test to travel to Hawaii my fiancé and I had just gotten over covid about 3 weeks prior too and had been tested leading up. I tested negative she tested positive. We tried to explain to the staff at care now. George was understanding he tried to help. we were promised a refund after speaking with corporate about the issue. We tried and tried to reach out to care now to follow up about the refund. But nothing they stopped returning our calls. I would recommend NOT coming here. Tbh I would probably just die instead. This place is not looking out for you they want your money.... Carenow is a scam... we tried to dispute the charges with our bank after a month of no calls back and they are contesting the charges after they said they would refund us... it's sickening and now we have been calling the care now location all day and they are putting us on hold every time and ignoring the calls read more

My son tested positive for Covid earlier today... I mentioned I would be bringing my daughter back to test. We get in for testing later and nurse was needlessly rude... said we shouldn't have expected a rapid Covid test and the front desk should have told you that. She relented and went ahead and gave daughter a rapid test-- but let's not forget one thing- empathy is important and people are scared, no need to throw process back in a patients face. Address it internally, however I'll be sure not to come back here because now I know that the rapid tests may not be available. Dr. Culver asked me all the right questions and checked me like she was my primary care physician. She was very thorough, diagnosed the problem, and prescribed medication that would be strong enough to fight off all of this health issue I am going through. My mom came with me and I appreciated that she didn't get bothered at all but seemed just as comfortable with her there. I had a good experience at this clinic. I was taking my 4 year old son in for an ear infection and it was late into the evening so my options were limited. I did a online check-in at their website which was supposed to speed things along. What worked well: - The online check-in worked as expected. They called me on the phone and told me I would need to pay cash since I hadn't met my deductible. Once we had that settled, they invited me to drive to the clinic. I arrived, signed a few forms concerning my payment and then had a seat. They met their "5-minute" online check-in commitment and called us back almost immediately. - The nurse was very helpful and pleasant, and the physician was quite funny. My son was very entertained talking to both of them. - The price wasn't terrible. I pay basically the same amount for a regular appointment with any other doc. - They treated my sons ear infection properly and I'm glad to report he is on the mend. What didn't work well: - While the online check-in got us into the room in under 5 minutes of our arrival, we sat in the doctors room for over an hour. This irked me a bit. I expected to be in-and-out rather than simply waiting in the treatment room rather than the waiting room. This struck me as a bit deceptive. - They estimated the base cost to be $125 and then any additional services they provide would increase the cost. After only talking to my son and looking in his ear, the bill was $140 - not a bad price at all, but I am not sure what the additional test they charged me for was and I didn't get an itemized bill so it will remain a mystery. Maybe they charge extra for the jokes they told my kid? All in all this was a good experience. A bit slow, but I had no appointment and it was well into the evening when I arrived so I can't complain too much. I will use them again in the future if I'm in a similar pinch. read more

I have been here a handful of times. Each time is a great experience even though I feel like poo when I check in. The staff here is very friendly and attentive. I checked in online after hours the day before and someone called me the next morning before they opened to see if I wanted to still come in. They were able to get me in right away. In all honesty I prefer coming here vs my primary care physician. I was in and out within 30 minutes. They even called the next day to see how I was feeling and if I needed to come back. read more

They were great all around! Got me in quickly. The doctor was very informative. Felt like my normal doctor.

While the wait tends to be longer than I'd like; the service is worth it. I required immediate attention but non-emergency (auto-immune issues) --but more than that, I needed understanding. The PA was phenomenal. He took his time. He listened to my needs/concerns and thoroughly did a check up. Thanks to his care, I was able to get through the next two weeks before seeing my rheumatologist. The "lending ear" of a PA who seems to genuinely care for patients and provides superior treatment --is why I wholeheartedly recommend this location. *So grateful!* I'd also like to add that prior to this - I went to our local "high scale" hospital and they literally did nothing but say they can't help me and I felt utterly hopeless. That bill will be 10x what I paid at CareNow and inferior in service. If it's not life threatening- I'd always recommend CareNow as a go-to! If I could post negative stars I would... They are a part of some really sketchy racket with American Airlines. Over 7 months ago I had a horrible experience my family and my fiancé all went in for Covid tests after just having Covid 1 months prior after several prior tests showing negative we all decided to go into care now Frisco and pay $150 a test to be able to travel. After my parents and brother ( all Caucasian ) tested negative and had the test barely put into our noses. My fiancé who is a Latina gets a test shoved so far up her nose she bled, they nurse Candy was rude and aggressive with her. We have contacted corporate over this they promised us a refund we never got it. We spent $150 a person that day. It was the most awful experience I've ever had. Racist staff terrible corporate and a terrible company. Don't go here to go legacy er less than 2 miles away. It's been a nightmare. We still haven't heard anything since my last time physically going into carenow to try to resolve issue. read more

(Keep in mind at that point they had no idea I was simply getting a covid test.l) For all they knew I could've had a broken bone or something serious. When I went to the office at 12:45pm for my appointment they informed me that they were running about an hour behind and that they would call me when they were ready for me. After not hearing from them for serval hours I called back at 3:15pm. They informed me that there were still 8 people in front of me. My husband and I have been here in three occasions and can't say enough great things. All three times we saw Dr Hester, he is one of the most through doctors I've ever seen. I've worked in doctors offices many years ago and this Care Now runs like a smooth machine. If I could I would make these guys my primary doctors! I always feel important and seen when I come here. Once when I split my toe open, Dr Hayes was so attentive and just personally very kind to me. Most importantly though, when my husband was having very bad abdominal pain and could not go to the bathroom, we came here. We got an X-ray and we're quickly shown to a place where we could get a CT scan. Once the scan was completed, they sent us to the hospital where we eventually found out my husband had Stage 4 Colon Cancer. Without them doing their do diligence and not just writing it off as stomach pains or gas... we would not have found out till maybe it was too late. I personally came back to thank the doctors for their work and being thorough. They were so kind and beautiful to us. If you need to go somewhere, I recommend this place! Every place has bad or busy nights but in my experience they have been very good to us! read more

We felt rushed and like we didn't actually matter just as long as we left as soon as possible so they could go home. Wife got very little relief. If you suspect that you have covid, Beware of the information that is being given at the Prosper CareNow. My daughter was told that she would not receive any treatment because she was not vaccinated. My son-in-law saw the same doctor 2 days earlier and was told that he could received the monoclonal treatment because he is high risk but my daughter was not eligible. When he went for his treatment the next day, the doctors at the treatment center told him that he was given the wrong information concerning treatment for my daughter, that anyone could receive the treatment. My daughter was not only given false information but was berated by the doctor for 30 minutes for not being vaxed. I ONLY came back to this place who MISDIAGNOSED (My Son with having a grade 4/6 HEART MURMUR. We only came here for his physical for Baseball.) To take a drug test required by my new job and what a mistake that was on my part. On my way home I thought it should be really easy to stop in, take the test & go. Haha, was a I fooled! First the receptionist can't pronounce my name right, 2nd I was called back to the desk to be told the lab tech is running behind and that it could take up to an hour or longer. So here I sit waiting to pee! I've watched the receptionist take in people who aren't on the list because they get a little feisty with them and those who have been waiting at home because of the Web check in are now waiting in the lobby! This location is a joke! I should have taken my paperwork elsewhere, although can't because I'm out of time. P.s. The "Doctor" who diagnosed my Son with the heart murmur is STILL working here. That "Doctor" should lose their license in my eyes. As they didn't know what they were talking about and scared us to death. Maybe someone should get a new STETHOSCOPE. **After that diagnosis we took him to Baylor where he had a FULL cardiac work up, all test came back WNL.
