Great lunch spot for a quick bite. I haven't been actually inside but it's super clutch that they have a drive thru. It's quick too for the type of food and quality you're getting! Prices are cheap and portions are good. They make a good wet burrito with beef, beans, and rice. Could definitely make it 2 meals. The chips and salsa were good too. Salsa had a little kick which I enjoyed. I would definitely move this into my regular lunch rotation. They also have a taco Tuesday deal that they have posted at their drive thru. read more

I've eaten here a half a dozen times or so and finally decided to write a review. I will separate the 2 parts of the experience. Food: The food is very good. Not the least bit authentic, but good. I like the tacos and enchiladas, and the one time I got a wet burrito it was delicious. They boast that their hot sauce is homemade. It's good, but I wouldn't say it's really much better than Ortega sauce from a jar. It's certainly not overly special. Overall, I'd give the food an 8 out of 10. Service: This is where it gets rough. Although I haven't had any experience where I was treated deplorably, the overall attitude from employees is that they really hate their jobs. After a half a dozen visits, I can safely say this a pattern and not just someone having a bad day. I've only come on Tuesday which is their busy day, so I get that they are in a bit of a hurry. But I can safely say that I have never been thanked, and I've never seen anything close to a smile from the drive-thru staff. I also always have to ask for hot sauce, they never ask. And it doesn't matter if you order 1 taco or 6 tacos, they only throw one cup of hot sauce in the bag. One time I ordered an enchilada and they threw it on top of the tacos and the sauce and cheese leaked all over the tacos in the bag. Big mess. Overall, I'd give the service a 2 out of 10. So if you like Americanized Mexican food, this isn't a bad place to eat. Just don't expect friendly service because you won't get it here. read more

Don't let the exterior or location of this place dissuade you, Quick Time definitely has some of the better Tex-Mex food in Grand Rapids. My wife described as just good comfort food. I went through the drive-through today to get some burritos. The wait at the speaker was very long. But.... to my surprise I think there has been new ownership and changes. I went through the drive thru so I can't comment on the restaurant itself. I got a beef wet burrito. It was on the small size. That being said it was quite good. Lots of beef, ground but tasty. Worst 25 bucks spent ever!! My wife and I decided to check them out and went through the drive-thru. The employee was not polite or helpful at all. I ordered chips and salsa, and also a wet chicken burrito covered with queso. The the guys says they were out of queso. At this point I just asked them to add Lettuce and tomato's; (which is 60 cent for one and 30 Cent for the other). No big deal though (I say to myself). He says he will just add Jalapeño peppers since they didn't have queso. My wife orders 10 tacos for her and the kids,5 hard and 5 soft. We live less then a mile away so you would think that it would still be hot, but NO we get home and the food is cold !!! I cut into my wet burrito and the chicken was very over cooked and tasted like cat food. I proceed to look in this greasy bag for my jalapeño peppers there's none at all!! I ask my wife what she thought and she felt that the tacos were extremely bland and depressing!!! My children barely ate and they love tacos. Never again QuickTime read more

While this place has great food, if you're going to eat here, better make it delivery. I regularly ordered delivery from Quicktime when I was working nearby. I felt the food, portions, service, and prices were great--not to mention their super speedy delivery. All was well until I decided to eat in one day. Not my best move. My husband and I entered the restaurant and stood in line behind a woman who was ordering. She was chatting with the cashier and laughing; everything was going ok...until it was our turn. The cashier took my order with no issue, but as my husband started to place his order, she said to us, "Y'all are lucky I'm helping y'all. I'm on my break right now." (Umm, how were we supposed to know?) She finished taking our order and then vanished quickly after. It was weird. So, anyway, my burrito was great as always (my husband thought his was only ok), and the rest of the meal went smoothly. I still like Quicktime because I've had more good experiences than bad, but they should probably better train their cashiers (or be more selective in hiring) going forward. ---- PRO TIP: Get the queso and chips! read more

We wanted to make Cinco de Mayo special for our teachers this year during Teacher Appreciation Week. When we found out the following things about Quick Time Burritos and Tacos we were sold! The meat is purchased local and never frozen. Scott makes his salsa, queso, and beans from scratch and daily. The corn shells are GF. It's fresh and delicious food for pretty darn cheap! Scott was a pleasure to work with, he delivered it and set up. When we were running low on the chicken and queso (because it was so yummy), he happily brought more with one easy phone call. Called and was told I had to wait in line to get my food. 45 minutes later I get to the window and was handed cold food.
