We were out of town camping in ocotillo with our rv and saw our truck tire had a leak, we went to discount tire to replace it after seeing the plug wouldn't hold and they couldn't get the tire off due to the tire having an after market lock that we new nothing about. Discount couldn't get it off for some reason so I called quick lane and at first they didn't have one that could unlock it and THANK GOD THEY DIDNT GIVE UP ! They got them all off in a timely fashion. None of them had ever seen wheel locks like this either so the fact that they helped us out and got it off was literally a life saver ! Charged me $300 for diagnostics. $1,000 later still hadn't fixed it. They're NOT mechanics they're oil and tire changers.

I visited two quick lane auto centers in El Centro . Both places experienced same . Neither would even stop private conversations to say " help you in a minute " the one at the mall told ranger he didn't need to help me . Both have the same problem , they service CHP vehicles and government law enforcement and do not need private vehicles . Can you imagine how they would treat your vehicle . Came in because I knew I needed an alignment but I was also concerned about a noise I heard. From the minute I walked in i was taken care of. Alex at the front desk was so kind, so helpful and funny. Great guy. The mechanic Anthony was so nice and helpful. As a woman I'm used to being talked down to by mechanics and auto shops. But not here. Here they are respectful and helpful. I'd give 0 stars if I can. Horrible service. Horrible techs. Can't align a car. I'm surprised they can tie their boots up in the morning.

I had an oil change done here and when I got to my brothers house in Washington I had to put 5 quarts of oil in it. That told me they never put oil in my vehicle. When I got back the manager denied it making all kinds of excuses. I brought a work vehicle to get the battery replaced because it was under warranty. I had to jump the vehicle three times within a 28 hour. They refused to honor the warranty stating the battery was not the problem. Took the vehicle to the dealership. The dealership put a new battery in it and I have had no problems sense. This place has no customer service and or business ethics. Don't go to this business for your automotive needs because it could ruin your vehicle or sell you something stating there's a warranty that they're don't honor. Wanted an oil change. They said $59.00. Thought this was a bit expensive, but I agreed. After the change, they said it was $98.00 due to "special filter". They said no matter where I went it would've been the same. I showed them receipt of my previous oil change from a different place for same car for $42. They said nothing. Never again from these guys. What a rip off! read more

I work at a shop in Nevada where we had an elderly couple come in due to "hot" brakes. We had to replace the front and back brakes including calipers and wheel bearings. The elderly couple had been in this shop (Quick Lane Tire & Auto) less than a month previous to have their brakes fixed. The shop did shoddy work resulting in unsafe failure. We made several attempts to call to rectify. Once we finally got ahold of David Jeffers to see about their warranty on brake work, things got worse. David Jeffers refused to honor his work in addition told the couple and our owner who spoke with him "Customer came in late in the day, what do you expect?" Well, we expect good quality work that results with a safe operating vehicle. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP FOR REPAIR! They do not perform good service, then argue and refuse to help once they are found accountable for damage. read more

I took my car for an oil change, for first 5 minutes of my way home car was fine. However, I heard loud noises whenever I turned. When I got home, Parked my car and leaned over to find that the cover was dragging. They only screwed one side of the cover. I called them to explain what happened and they sent the same tech. He unscrewed the only side that he screwed and blamed everything on me. Saying that the car was already like that when it came in. I explained that it had never happened until now and car was fine. He called his boss and was rude saying the same things, my fault and the car was like that already. But of course, they are not going to admit that their new tech made a mistake. They took my cover supposedly to fix but they want me to drive my car without the cover. I was dissatisfied and angry my car is brand new. read more

I had been taking my car here since it opened and never had an issue. In February I took my car for an oil change and when I got home it was leaking oil. I called to let the manager know and he said it was an over spill. 3 days later it continued leaking so I called again and they said it could never happen. My car spilled all the oil and so had to get a tow truck and a mechanic to fix what they should have checked in the first place. Horrible service!!!! read more
