It's actually refreshing to know that excellent service guys are still out there. We had our LG…read morefridge stop cooling slowly over about 2 days. First noticed the freezer items weren't as solid, so kept a close eye on it. I pulled out the fridge and cleaned off the coils hoping it was an airflow issue since it still felt cold inside. But then I put a cup of water in and left overnight and it didn't freeze. So I moved as much as possible to our deep freezer. We have a small fridge we use for camping so moved the fridge stuff into there. Our LG fridge is only 4 years old. We got a hold of Phil without even knowing he's an LG repair guy. He told us over the phone he thought it might be the compressor. Helped us look up the model number and verified he had the compressor in stock and set up an appt for the next day. We were able to verify it was still under warranty, provide the proof of purchase from Home Depot and everything was covered except the service call from Phil (more than worth it). He showed up the next morning, on time, ready to work, with the part. He verified that's what it was and then got to work. The compressor is normally an expensive repair. He had to drain the refrigerant, cut out and remove the old compressor, install the new one, re solder the connections and then purge and fill with the refrigerant again. He was done in maybe two hours. Not even a few hours later I could tell it was working and getting cold again. I had put a water bottle in the freezer and it was starting to freeze slowly. So now it's the next day, everything is working great and we are ready to use the fridge again. I can't recommend Phil enough. He was knowledgeable, professional, on time and prepared, did what he said he was going to do and let you know what was going on the whole time. Did what he needed to do and everything was good to go. We will definitely be keeping his info. I'm not even kidding, even though I was disappointed that the fridge failed in 4 years, I'm glad it worked out the way it did and I'd seriously consider buying another LG when the time comes to replace it knowing that Phil is available as a service tech.

NIGHTMARE - Avoid Cesars Appliance at All Costs…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Cesars Appliance has been an absolute nightmare, filled with incompetence, miscommunication, and complete disregard for customer service. I reached out to Cesars Appliance, assuming they could handle a basic warranty repair for a washer pump on my Speed Queen TC5 (brand new). Instead, what followed was weeks of frustration caused by their unprofessionalism and outright negligence. Timeline of Their Utter Failure: * 1/6: Washer pump failed. Called Cesars to schedule a service visit. * 1/8: Vitaly came out, confirmed it was the washer pump, and told me it would take 3-5 days to get the part. No problem, right? * 1/9: Fred (a clueless call center rep) tells me my warranty has been voided because Cesars submitted a claim stating I had tampered with the unit--which was completely false. I had to escalate to the owner, John, who was almost impossible to reach because they use a call center filled with people who don't understand warranty policies. Weeks of Radio Silence & Lies: For two weeks, I heard nothing. I repeatedly called Cesars, only to get the runaround. John admitted he had no idea what was going on. Meanwhile, my brand-new washer sat broken. I finally contacted Speed Queen directly and found out that Cesars basically tattle-tailed on me, submitting a claim that voided my warranty. I had to beg Speed Queen to escalate the decision and get my warranty reinstated, delaying the process even further. * 1/30: Vitaly finally returned with the parts-- weeks later. Final Thoughts: Cesars Appliance is an unprofessional, disorganized mess that doesn't care about customers. They voided my warranty based on false claims, caused unnecessary delays, and forced me to do their job by fighting to get my warranty approved. Their call center is useless, Fred is incompetent, and the owner, John, is impossible to reach. If you value your sanity, avoid Cesars Appliance at all costs. They have no idea what they're doing, and dealing with them is a massive waste of time.
