Since I had already grabbed a drink at The Dallor Plus Store, I just wanted to see what this 7 Eleven looked like inside. The place was being restocked with goods. A manager or associate was wiping down an area that had gotten messy. A line was forming full of customers and the place looked clean and organized. The floors looked like it had been cleaned for a long time. The store looks new; but I feel this place has been around for a while now. Either this or the store got a makeover. Looking around a the hotdogs, I thought to myself "not to long ago, getting these hotdogs wasn't so easy because of The Coronavirus Outbreak. Two year ago vs 2022 here and now. Year, scary times when there was no vaccine to aquire. I need to get my fourth shot, but I digress. I will be back to get something at this store next week.

I thought it would be a simple and smooth transactions since is was late a night and no one was really in there. Nope! I was ignored by all three employees that were there. The one cashier that was already at the register was helping someone with what looked like lottery tickets the entire time. He watched me grab a charger but did not acknowledge me again after that. Then the other two employees looked at me and decided to keep theirselves busy with their tasks that they were already working on. The one other employee that was behind the register was busy cleaning the oven and looked at me threes times from his peripherals. He did not bother to stop and help me. I was at the register for at least five minutes. I was so tired and agitated to the point where I did not want to say anything. Realizing that I left my wallet in the car, I left and came back in. What a surprise, someone decided to help me. When I tried to tell him I was waiting for a while, he cut me off to tell me about my card. Then when I finished he just looked at me nonchalantly.

However, some really stink and implementing what Corporate asks. So when you show up with the 7-Eleven App flashing with a Free Coffee Award they look at you and say that is no good here, we have no idea what that means... That just stinks. However, that sort of thing has NEVER happened to me at this particular 7-Eleven. In fact, they are so friendly here. They have been staffed by the same people for many years, and they are happy and attentive to your needs. They always have lots of fresh coffee and they put you in a good mood when you interact with them. In a very important, but general note, I harbor a secret theory that in the DC area 7-Eleven bought the doughnut recipe from Montgomery Doughnuts. I grew up here, and, in particular, the Chocolate Glazed doughnut reminds me excruciatingly of the Montgomery Doughnuts version (long my favorite doughnut in the world). 7-Eleven has a great business model, and affordable, delicious food, that is probably really bad for you. Like a bar or a pub would have so I knew I had to came back this afternoon. The flavors for the ice tea is watermelons unsweetened sweet tea, raspberry, honey greentea & habiscus. The ice coffee flavors are vanilla & cold brew I purchased a ice tea watermelons which was really refreshing. I thought that was really different a cute 10/10 Highly recommend ENJOY.

I frequent this location, the man with the spiked up dreads saw me there earlier and the product I asked him to swap out was unopened and the same price. He was rude about it too. If you're not gonna exchange items without a receipt you should be giving a receipt to every customer. There are also people consistently hanging around inside and outside asking for money. Most places have no loitering signs posted, the people that own this location I guess don't realize that being harassed for money by people hanging outside your store kills your business. Nobody wants to be asked for money every single time they goto the gas station, it's annoying and definitely a reason to not return to this location.
