This store is big, clean, and busy. I usually am pleased even though there is always a line. They have abut 6 soups here which is more than most QCs. WARNING I overheard the girls say the soup heater calibration is off, mgmt knows but won't fix it. NO!! This can grow bacteria and make people sick! Soups out for lil ol immunosuppressed me, so I ordered an iced caramel coffee with cinnamon on top, and a pecanwood bacon croissant bfast sandwich. UGH. Disastrous. HOLY SMOKES!! : Unless you like tons of smoke and soggy "bacon" that is really ham, do not order the pecanwood bacon. I took it off the sandwich after one bite, but the sandwich was still inedible and my hands and mouth were rinsed several times but heavy smoke stench & taste still remains. I feel nauseated. Also they prepared my drink with about 1/5 inch of cinnamon- they obviously messed up. I had to waste alot of time removing/fixing it, getting it all over my work clothes. At one point the girl saw me looking for water and offered to spill some in their sink but not to remake it, sigh. It was also ubersweet. Blegch! Summary: I lost about $7 today and 15 mins, feel sick from the smoke, smell like smoke and splashed coffee concentrate, and am mourning the loss of their awesome Chicken Pot Pie soup. May not be ordering from the deli again for awhile, and will not get soup or that bacon again. read more

My thoughts of this quick check since 1998 has to be the rapid downhill side to the crap hole in the ground and can't get out. They use to have huge subs with fresh meat and vegetables for reasonable prices and no screw ups either with getting food in there and out in a flash. Now workers BS behind the counter and ignore you, then they ask you for a donation at the register and waste more time for the time I lost waiting for them to see I am a living breathing customer in their store who wants to pay and go. The subs are horrible. They are smaller, thinner, and the meat does not taste right. My meatball sub's meatballs tasted funky/slightly bad meat when I tried to eat it. Half the time I go there they forget something on the subs I have ordered in the past. Cold cuts when they toast them are just horrible. I have complained in the past and had to drive back there for them to fix the order plenty of times and the manager keeps telling me sorry. Are they really sorry? It keeps happening. If I could give it no stars, I would. Their gallon of milk is like $1 more expensive then Stop and Shop. Convenience for crap vs going to another place to get better food. Cedar Grove Cafe accords the street is much better for sandwiches and I love going there. read more

3.5 stars rounded to 4 stars. With few quick lunch places in the area, this establishment remains one of my office's go-to places for sandwiches, subs, and the occasional soup. As one would expect, this Quick Chek is pretty much your standard issue Quick Chek. The staff is quite friendly, and the food tastes a bit fresher than other Quick Chek branches in New Jersey that I have been to. There are two free no-fee ATMs here and a bathroom that is very well maintained, adding further convenience to the customer; hence, this place receives an extra 1/2 star over the three-star baseline. My personal preference for sub (hoagie?) selection is that of Wawa, but to my knowledge, one needs to head at least as far south as East Brunswick to find one. However, this Quick Chek does suffice in the absence of an area Wawa store. read more

They're not as friendly as other quickchek workers at other locations. They give me the wrong bread for my sandwich everytime. Either too much mustard & mayonnaise or none at all. Can never win here. read more

This is our neighborhood QC so perhaps I'm biased but it's the best. Consistently nice staff and very good coffee. The subs have slipped in recent months but overall the place is convenient & has what we need. read more

My favorite QC in pway. The staff is much friendlier than the one on stelton. Place is always clean and coffee is fresh most of the time. Great establishment for people watching late at night. As with every QC, their subs have gone downhill. Pretty skimpy even with lettuce. read more
