Someone(s?) keep ripping off the metal fittings (nozzles?, adapters?) from the 'FREE' tire air filling machines. Gone there several times only to find the coiled hoses hanging with no way to attach to the Tire stem. Corporate keeps telling complainers to alert store staff but they're usually so understaffed and busy they don't document the problem. Finally bought a battery powered compressor at Autozone to top-off after running over the bomb craters in Middletown's East Main St. (pretty fake brick crosswalks do nothing for safety Mayor) Top notch frozen shakes though! Too bad they don't offer burgers anymore - used to head there straight from work each morning (3rd shift) because the 'sausage-whatever' sandwiches at Mickey D's, Wendy's and Burger Whoopie are just SO greasy! Ordered a meatball sub one day and nearly just walked out after seeing one of the clerks wipe her nose with her hand while wearing the same glove she later used to build the sub. HELLO!? read more

Quick Chek has the best hot chocolate around!! I love their sandwiches and they have some great deals. Their mobile app sucks though. Today I ordered a sandwich on the app, couldn't pay for it on the app. I went to get it at the deli they wouldn't give it to me until I paid. However the app wasn't working correctly so the checkout girl couldn't ring me up. So something that is supposed to be easy, save time and be convenient it was not!! Surprisingly today their soda machine and hot chocolate machine was out of order too which is surprising, but it was working on getting fixed while I was there waiting for them to figure out what to do with my order. read more

Don't order food past 7pm. They only had one worker on food. The new older blonde lady she takes it upon her herself to stop making drinks when she feels like it when she is over whelmed I was picking up a door dash order for a customer and waited a hr. This customer had two DoorDash orders for quick check so i get that part was confusing but she lumped the order together one had a sandwich and two drinks, and mine had two iced coffees and a sandwich. I was always 2 feet away and in constant communication with the customer. Just because they didn't have the flavor. The customer wanted she canceled the order and totally forgot about the sandwich because of that. Then I asked her politely if she could make the two drinks the customer wanted, and I would've waited longer. I was first in line and she proceeded to continue making sandwiches for the other customers. And was telling people ordering food she's not doing drinks anymore. Apparently drinks are just too hard for her. It was like I was a second thought just because I was a DoorDasher. I will never take DoorDash orders for this location. It's always slow for food. How you can improve? QuickChek just is popular for food because it stays open late. You need two or three people at night for food. The sandwiches at this location are a hit or mess. Sometimes they have young people working in there, not paying attention to the order. They forget to put the dressing on they forget to put the olives in. They forget to remove the tomatoes. They forget everything someone needs to train these kids. read more

I stopped at this Quick Check yesterday to see if they have the toilet paper as there is a shortage now with this Coronavirus thing. Can you imagine they wanted to charge me $10.04 for a package of 4 rolls of toilet paper? What a scam !?! This is actually illegal to raise prices of goods during a shortage time like that. Its open 24 hours and routinely has the cheapest gas in the area. The air hose is electronic, actually works and best of all its free. Gas stations that charge for air drive me nuts. read more

First time tonight in 3 years have I been completely dissatisfied with the deli. My meatball sub was cold and barely any marinara sauce. I'm a fan of this location. It's very close to home for us, so we can always pop in for gas, a quick beer and munchies run or coffee and a sandwich. I have not tried the sandwiches but my husband swears he likes them better than Subway. Cashiers are always friendly, and I've yet to visit and find the store dirty. read more

Stopped in today for gas and a sandwich, and though I've not been at this location in a while I do expect it to be just like all the orher Quick Chek's in the area. Meaning that I expect Great Service and most of all CLEAN! well not at this location, the store floors were covered with debris and dirty as in need of Mopping. The Restroom is a complete mess, paper towels all over the Dirty floors the trash bin full to the top and the smell reminds you of the Monkey house at the Bronx Zoo! Anthony the manager on duty has the responsibility of making sure this has been addressed. Especially if it was like this from the previous manager's shift. Hope this get addressed very soon. I should have known I was going to experience something bad when a guy walked out of the store and warned me about it. I stopped here at six in the morning. Of the approximately 12 coffee urns, only one was filled and it was the decaf. when I asked for more coffee, I got a somewhat snide response from the employee. What kind of convenience store doesn't keep up with the morning rush-hour for coffee? Then, after getting my store items, paying for it, and returning to the counter to pick up my breakfast sandwich, I found out that the other employee didn't even started because she was too busy talking to her coworker.
