Employee strangled my sub, was crumpled up and small, I thought it was a snack wrap when I picked it up from the counter

A semi upscale food market /gas station in Middletown that has a variety of sections inside to grab some beverages , hot and cold beverages , different types of beer and much more . I stopped in to use the restrooms which are clean and no weirdos hanging around .Gas station is big and gas prices are about average for the area . The best part is the convenience store which has everything you need for food and drinks and the spacious interior is a best when taking a much needed break before heading back on the road . The coffee bar area has a variety of hot and cold beverages and the food section ain't bad as well with many options to choose from .overall a very good rest stop convenience shop in Middletown thats worth stopping in for a while . read more

When I went to check out a quick check, the cashier just looked at me without telling me how much I owed and finally after about 20 seconds the lady gave me the price and I was able to pay and on top of that you can't even pay for your sandwich Where you buy it. You gotta walk up front and then walk all the way back, which is fine if you were able to walk, but for some of us that have a hard time walking this and added aggravation. read more

I stopped to get gas and use the bathroom. Gas was cheap compared to other places. However the majority of trash cans were overflowing. The bathroom was gross. There was no running water in the sink- instead there was a used milk jug with water to use to wash your hands. This place served food so this was especially disgusting. Highly recommend avoiding. read more

Don't believe I've ever eaten at a QuikChek before. Was walking distance from the hotel I was at. There is quite an extensive choice of hot sandwiches and such. I ordered wrong and got a soggy pastrami sandwich! Should have stayed with my first choice, a chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich. Portuguese roll was awesome though! Looks like decent sandwiches if you order right! read more

They have the cheapest and best gas in the area. Slightly disappointed that they change the price midday and when I went past gas was 3.25 only to become 3.31 an hour later. But they have great empanadas and coffee. read more

Awesome gas station. It's the same price if your paying with cash or credit for gas. The store is amazing. Clean safe and comfortable. Tons of cool snacks and sandwiches to buy and enjoy. The best part yet, They have a huge selection of craft beer. Things I could only find at whole foods and that says a lot. This place reminds me of WaWa and I love WaWa lol. read more

Place is ****** gross , no wonder they keep advertising for 3 dollar sandwiches ... food literally tastes like garbage , everything is pre made in a microwave , portion is the size of my fist...if you trying to spend less than 4 dollars on lunch , you should go there , but beware , you get what you pay for Also their ubranded low quality gasoline ruined my car !!!! Wow never seen anything like this. It was a very very interesting place. Not so interesting cause it was like a better version of 7/11 mixed with subways. I would say I wish they had them in the city but i find when you take small town chains and bring them to the city, it becomes watered down and just not a good thing i.e Panera Bread. read more

Clean quick check. Bought an Italian 6 inch with the fixins. Meat and vegs were fresh and sub tasted good for $3.00. Bathroom clean as well.

I frequent this place for diesel gas since it's the cheapest around. The soup is pretty good for gas station food. If they had a gas pump attendant to pump my gas I'd love this place... But I guess they only do that in Jersey these days read more

Loved the quick in and out as I made my way from Pittsburgh to Boston. Reasonable gas, a clean location [I was in New York State for this one] and a surprisingly delicious Made to Order deli [watch out they definitely add spice when declared spicy] No issues and quick and efficient service. read more

While pumping, the gas pump malfunctioned and began spraying all over my car. The manager only credited me $3.00. Who knows how much gas I paid for that is now on the ground. Not to mention, my suit smells of gasoline. I have a headache and a half empty tank. Ugh! read more

Stopped in for a frozen latte for me and a breakfast burrito for mother in law. The drink was delicious and the burrito was piping hot and enjoyed. First time at this location, didn't want to go to the one on the other side of town where the guy made me a lousy latte so we went to this one instead, same distance. I've ordered sandwiches on 3 occasions and each time they got the order wrong. I requested mayo on my sandwich and there was none. The next two times I said do not toast and both times they toasted the sandwiches. They just don't pay attention to the details. The other problem is that there are always lines to check out. They rarely have more than one register open and do not offer self checkout options. These are easy things to fix if management actually cares. read more

When I came into your area today to pick up an item I saw on a Craigslist advertisement, I stopped in when I saw my car needed gas. Although prices are a little higher than a little north of your city, I was pleasantly surprised to find this little shop. Although all Quick Chek markets all look the same on the inside, this one outside gave me this "fresh, new and innovative" look. Although I stopped by to purchase gas with a "Pay at the Pump" credit card order, when I went in to use the restroom, I found out that this place is almost-spotless, and the employees knew how to assist their customers. I felt like these employees really did care about me and I knew I existed, even though for a short time I was in the men's room. It really is surprising! No words could ever describe what I saw in your store today. If I'm ever in your area again, I'll be sure to stop on in and purchase more than just gas, but because this was only a one-time trip, and gas was the primary reason, its just good enough to mention these viewpoints. read more
