Most times when I shop here I'm greeted with courtesy and kindness. Looks like the atmosphere is changing. So dear Joanna the manager, if that's her real name. When you're preparing food you should NOT be wearing gloves while touching boxes and other cleaning items AND then return to food preparation with THE SAME GLOVES!!! This has to be the absolute worst I've seen! If you're in a hurry or don't mind standing in a long line waiting, avoid this place all together! Not just once, but multiple times you go in and either the employee are talking to friends all at one register or there on their cellphones texting! There are other places nearby so like I said avoid this place. I stood in line and just watched the line get longer while one person was at the register another sitting on the floor behind the register on the cell phone. She finally must have seen the line and got up and said " next in line"! Others in line could only say "really"! read more

Things that need to be changed: - Replace regional manager. My parents and I used to go there a few times a week; my mom even became friends with several of the people that work there... but then; this woman who apparently only comes in occasionally hence why I think she is a regional manager falsely accused Mom of stealing stuff because she put what she was going to purchase into a cloth bag because there's no baskets or carts. When my mom got loud and defended herself, the person ran back to whatever secret door she came out of without apologizing or try to make it right! Ever since neither of my parents have gone back to that store. And of course, none of Mom's friends who work there defended her or called the woman out, all they said was she's hardly ever there again pointing to her being a regional manager or something a kin to it. (My mom is a POC as well so she also feels that she was racially profiled by her.) - Clean the counters at checkout. Last time I was there; there was some kind of viscus orange spilled on the counter. - Streamline the checkout process at the self checkout kiosk. read more

I don't usually go to this quick check but since we were on that side of town and needed gas we stopped. I used the bathroom while I was there and have to say i can't believe how clean the bathroom was and the store. From what I saw it looked well stocked too. You know it seems like lately every time I sign on here is to leave a negative review, and usually I leave positive and maybe point out if there's something negative or not. So I'm going to do the opposite this time. I'm at a QuickChek near Middletown New York. I've stopped at these particular convenience stores many times in the past and the first thing I can tell you is that they have seriously awesome chocolate chip cookies. $5 for a five pack $7 for two five packs and I think it's $9 for three five packs. They also have peanut butter and oatmeal and they are just as good but the chocolate chip rocks. All locations that I'm aware of anyway also have a 24-hour deli where they will make your sandwich to order, kind of like a Sheetz. Bathrooms are usually pretty clean, and I've never met anyone working at any location that wasn't more than helpful when I needed it. Now for the visit I just made, the first thing I noticed was that there is no windshield washer fluid or even any squeegees outside near the fuel pumps. The price of gas these days is hovering right around $5 a gallon here in New York, the least they could do is give you the option to wash your window. The second observation and the most important one for me at this moment in time is that they don't have any hot coffee. It's 5:40 in the morning, on a weekday, and they've got about 9 or 10 different varieties of coffee available however a couple of them are empty and the rest of them are cold.( Or at least the four that I tried, I didn't check every single one) Now I like iced coffee as much as the next guy however this particular line of coffee pots is supposed to be hot. They do have a sign up that says that they guarantee it or if they don't have it they will brew it for you and I know from previous experience when I've gone into one of these stores and they happen to be out of the flavor I'm looking for, they will brew it and my cup is free as I had to wait for it. I was thinking of taking advantage of this just now however I've got places I have to go and the two employees were rather busy, one of them in a register with a few people in line and the other one at the deli with the same. Now granted being that busy could explain why there was no hot coffee, but the way those pots keep the coffee warm it could have been brewed anytime in the past couple hours and it would still be hot right now. The first selection I tried was stone cold so that would be yesterday's coffee. So that's my two cents worth for this particular convenience store. The windshield washer thing I've noticed has happened here before and I have sent out a quick email to corporate however that doesn't appear as though it has worked very well. read more

I get to the line and there's no one on it but there's a register with a gentleman behind it. Actually he wasn't a gentleman. He was all crouched over and it looked like he was on his cell phone. So when eyes connect I said "are you open?". Smartass says to me "I'm standing here so I guess I am". No class. Rude. Disrespectful. Generally, this station has the cheapest gas of any other nearby, but, the other day I inserted the credit card and when it said to pick up the nozzle and press the grade of gas I pressed the 87 octane like I always do, but when I started pumping the 89 octane lit up. So I immediately stopped pumping because it was $0.42 more per gallon. I know you may think that I accidently hit the 89 button but I did not even come close to it. Most people would have there back to the octane button and pump without looking. Beware of this and make sure that it pumps the gas you select. read more

Gas is same price cash or credit. I come for the cheap but slow robotic car wash ($6-$9+tax). It seems to take about 10 minutes per car so beware if there is a long line. A lot of people seem to have a problem operating the pay station for the car wash which also adds to the wait. The undercar wash is partially broken. There's just two small steams of water that you drive over. I will find a new car wash that actually washes the salt off the bottom of my car. read more

Visited here with my mother in law twice in the past few weeks. She loved the 6 inch sub sandwich so much she jumped at the opportunity to go back. I guess they do not have any in Sullivan County where she lives. I find this location to be clean, orderly and well run. I love the computer touch screen for ordering. The cinnamon flavored coffee I had yesterday was great. Cashier lines move fast too. The buffalo chicken/macaroni and cheese sub sandwich was so good. read more

Hi there, i was at middletown new york quick chek along RT around 6 PM july 3rd 2015. Thats today, the manager accused me of stealing a bottled water in front of a lot of customers, i told her i paid it off already, but she said she saw me grabbing the water from the fridge and i went directly to the rest room, i said i didnt went that way i came from behind the cashier. And she keeps asking me for a receipt so loud im already embarassed. Just to prove i paid already i have to go to the garbage can just to grab my receipt and showed it to her. read more
