This person was so rude and told the other person there what I had said. After exiting I was told that my card was declined 3 times. As I had more then $3,000 in that account I knew that was not true. I know there is a huge turnover in this kind of business but I'm not going back there, after going there for years. The Bubble Barn is the best car wash I've found in the Hudson Valley. There's always a helpful, hard working, smiling staff, and the whole automated washing system is very quick. There's a place to vacuum the insides, and there are multiple wash options to choose from. I love the monthly feature, it's great in the winter because you can get your undercarriage washed from the salt. I would highly recommend the Barn if you haven't gone already! read more

I can't say enough great things about the staff at Bubble Barn. They genuinely cared about my experience and the cleanliness of my car. The free vacuums are also a plus. I purchased a Platinum unlimited membership for my boyfriend's birthday and he said it's the best gift I've ever gotten him. WAS SCAMMED! Pulled up & asked for 2 wash books to give as gifts (there is a BIG sign advertising them). Employee called the owner/manager who instructed him to tell me the "basic" were sold out so I had to buy the next level up, silver, (so instead of $35 for 5 washes it would now run me $50 and $70 for 10 washes would now run me $100!) I assumed I would get a booklet with tickets -NOPE. I was charged $150 for gift cards. Now tell me again why I couldn't get the lower amounts? DO NOT GO. First time trying Bubble Barn tonight and I was very pleased. Super cute barn theme. Easy to enter bays and easy to exit building. Great location. I was very happy with the water pressure. I used the self serve as I like to be in control of washing my own cars. Happy with the results. Allowed 5 minutes to soap up, rinse all bubbles clean and even wax! Will come again whenever I need to clean up my vehicles. read more

Ever since the new owner took over this car wash, its been the best thing since sliced bread. I met the owner the week he opened and did the monthly plan. I usually hit it once a week and every single time I'm satisfied with them. The guys work hard to dry your car off at the end of the tunnel and the free vaccuums are awesome too. I've been a loyal and satisfied customer but this was a distasteful experience. I came first thing in the morning at 8am to get a car wash before work. I drive 30mins to this place because it's a great little spot... but this morning I had to sit 15min in my car for a wash (I was first in line). I understand that the place needed some cleaning but then this lady threw up her hands in front of me with an attitude I didn't appreciate to stop me from driving in (why she did I didn't really understand). It just seemed a little aggressive for a patient customer who had been waiting after opening hours... That being said all the other employees are always pleasant. If I would management, I would take a little closer look into customer service of some of their employees. Its degrading for this nice business. read more

I purchased the monthly plan for the Platinum wash. Now mind you I am very meticulous when it comes to the care and maintenance of my vehicle. When it's warm, I hand wash my truck daily, wax it monthly, and keep up with the maintenance schedule religiously. OCD maybe, but it's the reason why my possessions stay in excellent condition. With all of the snow and the salt/sand that NYS so lovingly spreads over every inch of drivable surfaces, it seemed like a good idea to get the monthly plan at Bubble Barn. Toyota has had known, documented issues of their frames being destroyed by the salt, so in an effort to mitigate the rust, I visited the Bubble Barn. The owner stated "you can wash as often as you like" as well as having "wash all you want" posted on the signage in front of the wash bay, which prompted me to sign up for their services. Initially it seemed like a good place. While I typically don't like the automated washes that aren't touch less, this car wash was located where I can frequent it as often as I could to keep my vehicle clean and salt free. I ALWAYS was extremely polite and generous to the guys that poorly dried my vehicle, and tipped them consistently, regardless of their inability to adequately dry a car. With all of the snow melt, salt and grime that my commute exposes my vehicle to, I made good use of their "wash as often as you like" advertising. I would wash my vehicle daily (weather dependent) and sometimes twice if my travels took me near the Bubble Barn. That is until today. When I pulled up to the wash bay the owner (well the woman whom I presume is the owner) approaches my window and I could tell immediately that she had an issue. She opens the dialogue with, "So, what was wrong with the wash this morning"? My response was simply "nothing. My truck is just dirty from the snow melt and I want to get it cleaned again". Her response to me was "We are a small business. Why don't you give us a break". So, let me get this straight. This is a drive through car wash. You aren't hand washing my vehicle. I tip your employees probably 50% of their hourly wage for 3 minutes of work, and you have the audacity to question me for utilizing a service that was advertised to me both verbally and by the signage that I can wash as often as I like? Obviously I cancelled my contract and will not frequent this establishment again. A word of advice to the owner - don't advertise something then chastise your client for utilizing the services that you offer. Poor business acumen. Poor business model. Poor attitude. Mediocre car wash. I will now frequent the touch less Foam and Wash Car Wash as often as I like, without the attitude. Give ME a break. read more
