I had heard about Dr. Shane Phillips and decided to go and meet with him and see if I thought we might work well together. I am particular about my health care and I need someone who treats me like a person, not a number, and someone who has time to listen and talk to me. WOW....did I ever luck out! From the very first visit I knew this was the doctor for me. Patient, kind, intelligent, listening and then sharing is just the beginning of Dr. Phillips. I feel secure in his care. How great is that? The other GREAT plus is the nurses and staff at the clinic. They are all KIND and I don't know about you but for me, when I am there, kindness goes a long way when I am in their hands. The other super thing about the clinic is they run on time! You do not wait forever. Haven't you been in a doctors' office forever and felt like your personal time had no value. This is not true of the Green Clinic North Side as you are able to get in and then out. I initially made an appointment for my wife to set up an annual physical, which is covered by our insurance. During this appointment the doctor asked her if she had any questions or other concerns. She mentioned a couple of things she was curious about but they were small and were not the reason she came at all, and she wouldn't have even asked them had she known that she would be billed because it was a now a "sick visit" instead of the "annual physical visit". Poor communication by their staff. Had she known that asking a question at the end of the appointment would cause it to become another type of visit we would be charged for, she would not have asked.
